Getting irritated and wanting to know who is disturbing my sleep I opened my eyes to see dii's phone playing its alarm. Sighing I went and switched it off.

" di agar utna nahi hai toh alarm kyun lagana aur kala chashma yeh kon lagatha hai koi mitwa jaise gana laga doo na subhe utke peace chahiye hota hai aur ap hai ki subhe koi earthquake huwa lagnewala ganabhjadiya APP MERI BHAAT SUN RAHI HOO KYA"

"kya hai choti subhe subhe apne drama kyu shuru kar rahe ho"

And I dashed to my bed I saw di getting to the bathroom and sleep engulfed me again

"choti wake up " I heard di

"no five minutes its already 8:30 mama is..."

We were suddenly interrupted by a loud voice

" Ruhanika Sharma are you up or should I come up" we heard mama shout

"mama I am wide awake " I lied

Di started laughing. One of the things mama hates is late owls and unfortunately, both me and Papa are the same while di caught up with mama.

" di shh it's not my fault today it was your alarm that broke my beauty sleep"

"well if you are done with your drama freshenup before mama gives the next call " saying that she went to help mama. I woke up smiling, this is what I missed, di covering for me whenever I am in any trouble and getting scolded by mama is also fun. All these makes me think how fortunate I am to have such a loving family. I will always live up to their expectation it's a promise I made to myself long back. hmmm let me get fresh.

While Juhi and her mother were setting the table Ruhi and her father approached them

"Good morning papa, mama, didi" greeted ruhi

"Good morning Neelu, Good morning beta "greeted Rajeev

"Good morning lazybones" chided Neelima

"Good morning papa morning choti" greeted Juhi

While having their breakfast

Rajeev was tensed to bring up this topic in front of his wife

Spotting his hesitation Neelima inquired "what's it Rajeev that you wanna tell me"

Ruhi and Juhi smiled seeing them so full of love and trust that they knew what each other thought and both of them wished to be in a relationship like their parents. They were their role models a couple made in heaven with so full of love.

"Neelu before you say anything hear me out once. Ashok called me early in the morning Seema di is critical and is asking for us I have told him it's your decision and I won't influence you by any means "

"Raj you know what they did to us, our princess, the only thing they needed was bhai's properties which we gladly gave them now I don't think we need to mend those old ties untied long back."

" yes mama is right after what massi did it was not even once last time met her, two years back, she treated ruhi extremely bad I don't think we need to tail behind her after that" Juhi joined her mother's decision

Rajeev sighed hearing their reply not that he was not angry at that women for treating his daughter that way not once but twice but again he pitied her for her fate, the sons whom she was proud of turned their back towards her once they were settled in their lives and then this illness it was all her narrow and backward mindedness that made her think of ruhi that way

"ma, di, I think u need to rethink your decision. I know the way she treated me wasn't right but whatever it is at the end of the day she is our massi and your sister, who now needs someone near her, to console her, someone to tell her that everything would be fine and give her strength and you and Ashok chahu are her only family now and mama don't you believe in your upbringing do you think her words matter to me it's all because of her narrow mind thinking and I frankly don't care what she thinks about me but what she thinks about you matters to me so not for you, at least for me go and meet her once just this last time " said ruhi

"ok choti just this last time but if she utters anything against you we leave them and never meet them again, do u get me? " Neelima agreed to her daughters wish

Rajeev, on the other hand, felt proud of his princess, it was at these rare times that ruhi would exactly behave like his late brother-in-law, keeping family before everything even before him though most of the time she is like his late sister all jolly and loud moreover he was happy about his decision to adopt ruhi who constantly reminded him of his sister and brother-in-law.

"Ok ma now that di will be leaving today evening I think we need to spend our time wisely how about we watch a matinee show and we will have our lunch from Rajbhog now let me go and book tickets for the show " Ruhi confirmed her plan and left along with Juhi

"Ya before that Neelu I think we need to get to the hospital I will inform Ashok then "informed Rajeev

"Raj small change of plan we are taking ruhi and Juhi with us" replied Neelima

"Neelu do you think its right I mustn't want to spoil Ruhi's mood today see how happy she is, "said Rajeev

"So you do believe that she will not change, I know you wanted ruhi to hear this conversation otherwise you would have told me about you conversing with Ashok first thing in the morning you knew she would convince me right" questioned Neelima

"That Neelu .." Rajeev gave her a sheepish smile this was it he was an open book whose all pages, marks and turns were known to his Neelu.

" Rajeev I know she wouldn't like it if we take her there and frankly speaking I don't want her to face Seema didi but she needs to she is becoming like Bhai day by day and I don't want her to be that I want her to think about her first and treat the people the way they need to be treated not always forgiving you know what happened to Bhai because of this if not for Bhabhi Bhai would have lost everything he built up because of that wicked Shresha ( Ashok's wife). I don't want her to repeat those mistakes. Why does she always have to find fault in herself even when she is not at the fault." said Neelima

"Oh Neelu you know me too well, but your analysis over our princess is wrong I don't think she would ever change her attitude because it's something she has seen growing it's there in her blood, and about her making the same mistake for that we do have our Juhi right though she is all quiet and shy unlike ruhi when it comes to her sister she can bring hell to that person. That's the belief I have in our upbringing. But again if you feel you need to get her with us to the hospital then I go by your decision" said Rajeev and left his wife alone to contemplate over her decisions

Raj though I know whatever you said are true I would want to give this a try I want her to learn lessons before something worse gets to her- thought Neelima

An hour later whole family left off to the hospital though ruhi didn't want to she went with them

Only to add one more nightmare to her memories
