Jayden felt the multiple pairs of eyes stare at him expectantly. Nervously, he opened the envelope that hat the same gold seal.

"Dear Guests,
You have been invited to stay in luxury, but not all is what it seems. You will be playing a game, one that requires cleverness, and keeping your wits about you. If your team wins, you will split a quarter of a million dollars. If not.... well I'll explain more of that later. Upstairs you will find accommodations that should be most suitable for your stay. You have an hour to explore the castle, or until the clock strikes midnight. When you hear the bell, you will know where to go.
Keep your eyes and ears open, and don't trust anyone.

"What does it mean, you'll know where to go?" Angela asked

"Let's explore first. I'm sure we will discover something." Jayden reassured the group.

The guests went up the stairs, and to their separate ways. The Crew-mates were greeted with a maid who waited for them. Each maid handed a second envelope and a colored bag. Nervously, the guests read the next letter.

"Hello my friend and welcome to Avebury manor. I hope your accommodations are most suitable. However, it is time you understand my game a little more. This is more than just winning money, it is leaving the manor with your LIFE! It is absolutely imperative you keep your wits and bravery about you. In this manor, there are 3 killers, and they will aim to either kill you or your friends. However, the trick is to not to make alliances with the impostors, but with the other guests. Despite this house being very old, I have renovated it greatly.

Inside your bag, you will find materials to defend yourself against the killers. You have a tablet in which it shows the entire estate. However, you cannot see anyone else on the map. In addition, you have 5 non explosive grenades in which smoke will completely cover the area. This could help you escape from the killer and live another day. Finally, you have an emergency button. You can use it 3 times only. 

By pressing the button, you are saved from possibly being killed. HOWEVER, everyone will be called into the conclave room. You will then state your case as to who the impostor is. The goal, is to have everyone on your side. Everyone is free to vote for whoever But they must vote for someone.  Whoever is voted on majority...... will face consequences later. Speak wisely, for the next meeting people may vote for your death.

On the other spectrum, the impostors received the same greetings, but with a different agenda.

"Welcome Impostors to my little game.  This is more than just winning a quarter of a million dollars, it's about getting revenge (or just plain killing). There are 7 crew mates  that you have to kill to win. They have an advantage over you, which is why it's imperative that you gain their trust... or it may cost your life. The Crew-mates have items to defend themselves against you, but you also have items as well.

In your bag, you will find a tablet that looks exactly like the others. The only thing is that you can see the multiple passageways, and you can sabotage the mansion. You could cut off the electricity,  change the air temperature, etc. HOWEVER, the crew can also fix these errors. In addition, you have a constant livestream of where the members are going with their color coordinated icon. Finally, there are concealable weapons throughout the mansion, if you know where to look. I'm sure you can be creative.

However, there are rules that apply to you in this game. You cannot kill crew-mates constantly. Once you have killed, you must wait til the next day. However, if the other impostor hasn't killed, they can kill for you. In addition, you cannot kill anyone once the emergency button has been pressed. The crew-mates have an emergency button in which they can use if they are in danger. They will then make their case. It is imperative that you sway the other crew mates and get them on your side. If you are voted, you will face consequences. Everyone has the freedom to vote for whomever, but everyone must vote for someone. Failure to break these rules and you will face consequences.

It is important at beginning of the game to find the impostors, by doing so you can have a United front. Or if you prefer to work alone...

All of the guests continued to explore. However, none of them felt relaxed, and kept checking the tablet for the time. Finally the clock tower struck midnight, and there was a sudden crash. The guests arrived at the scene from different directions and saw the maid hanging from the back door. It was clearly evident that she was dead. Mr. Anderson arrived in shock, and tears sprang to his eyes.

"Mr. Anderson?" Lilith asked quietly. "W-what do we do?"

The butler cleared his throat before pulling out an envelope. "I have been instructed to read you this."

The guests looked expectantly at the butler, the butterflies soaring within their stomach. They knew that it wasn't going to be easy.

"Hello mortals,
This is the first round in our little game. It shall be like a test run. We can see here the maid Shaila is dead. She got hung with a tight rope. However, there is more to the story. In order to understand how she died, you will be allowed to either examine the body, or go to another location in which the woman was at. You cannot do both. When the hour is up, you will have an additional hour to discuss with your friends........or enemies what you have found.... You may even find clues about the impostor.  You have 5 minutes to decide.

P.S; I forgot one important detail. If there are more crew mates alive at the end of the game, then they win. The same goes with the impostors.

The group turned to one another, and everyone felt the panic within their hearts.

Their lives were officially at stake.
