Corl POV

Alex and I run towards the sound. If we're able to catch up, we may be able to save Denis and Elijah. The determination to help them makes me run faster. Alex begins to slow down and starts wheezing. I know it's useless to slow down with Alex because then, I will lose my chance of saving Denis and Elijah.
"Alex! Find Ethan and Sub! Tell them that Denis is in danger!" I yell to him.
"Also, tell them that he's been taken North East, probably along with Elijah! Maybe we'll be able to find them!!" I yell louder so that Alex can still hear me, since we're getting farther and farther away.
"O-..." Alex begins to say, cut off by the distance between us.
I look away from Alex and towards where I heard the scream for help, running faster than I ever have in my life. Denis has been my best friend since I was 12. I can't let my best friends down.
