Characters:

Maggie- Youngest of the four children of the Dender family, 3-5 years old throughout the book. Curly brown hair, brown eyes, tan skin tone, bedroom is located by the restroom and Jonah's room, female.

Jonah- Second youngest of the four children of the Dender family, 5-7 throughout the book. Crazy black hair, blue eyes, tan skin tone, bedroom is located between Maggie and Owen's bedroom, male.

*Owen- part of the Dender family the second oldest, 14-16 years old throughout the book. Brown hair, blue eyes, tan skin tone, lives in his cozy room upstairs, male.

Carmen- Oldest of the 4 children in the Dender family, age 19-21 years old throughout the book. Chocolate brown hair, hazel eye color, tan skin tone, bedroom is down the long hall across from Owen's, female.

Mom (Maddie)- mother of the Dender family, has four children, married to her husband (Samuel). Light brown hair, hazel eyes like Carmen, tan skin tone, bedroom is located right next to Carmen's bedroom, female.

Dad (Samuel)- Father of the Dender family, helps watch three out of four of the children most of the time, married to his wife (Maddie). Dark brown (almost black) hair, Blue eyes, tan skin tone, shares a room with Mom, male.

Trenton- Carmen's boyfriend, supports her all the time. Blonde hair, deep blue eyes, tan skin tone, lives a couple houses down from the Dender's, male.
