As the Fifth Year memories played out, many were beyond furious with the actions and words of Umbridge. Everytime she has opened her mouth to speak to Nova, Remus found himself shaking with rage, especially with the way she addressed her.

"I am so proud!" James shouted as Harry and Nova began their illegal defense classes.

When Harry and Nova's ban from Quidditch became official, many were stunned.

However, when O. W. L. s rolled around, no one was excited. They all knew was what coming.

Lily shoved her head in her hands at the stupidity of her son as he and his friends raced into the Department of Mysteries to get a prophecy, which resulted in their capture.

A blinding light formed from behind Lucius.

Once the light faded, Nova saw the very person they came here to save. Dressed in a leather jacket,  grey shirt, black boots, and black jeans Sirius Black appeared. His black curly hair, as always, combed to perfection. His silver eyes glaring at Lucius as he spoke.

"Get away from my godson."

Sirius's fist made contact with Lucius's face with a sickening crunch.

"Hell yeah!" James cheered. "Padfoot came to save the day!"

Sirius placed a hand on his friend's shoulder to calm him down. This wasn't something to be cheering about in the exact moment, especially since the story ended badly.

At her father's arrival, Nova began to fight to free herself from Greyback. She thrashed and thrashed as more Order members began to appear. Nova swung her elbow back, hitting Greyback in the nose.

As she spun around to stun him, Remus came along with a nasty stunning spell.

"That's my daughter, mutt!"

"Hey, Pa!" Nova greeted as she threw a jinx at a Death Eater attacking a no-longer pregnant Tonks. "How's it going?"

All around them, Order members and Death Eaters fought. Nova saw Mad-Eye hit his staff to the ground, causing Nott to fly backward.

"I was putting your blue-haired brother to sleep when Snape appears and tells us you decided to take a field trip," Remus answered as he pointed his wand a Dolohov. "STUPEFY!"

"Petrificus Totalus!" Nova shouted as she pointed her wand at a Death Eater to Moody's left. "How is Teddy? I haven't gotten to see him yet."

"He's a troublemaker, that one," Remus stated. "Stupefy!"

"So...he's living up to his Marauder genes?" Nova smirked. "Alarte Ascendare!

"Thanks, Lion!" Sirius shouted as Nova made a Death Eater attacking her Da from behind fly into a wall.

"Basically," Remus grinned wickedly as he shot a spell towards an attacker. "Speaking of which, you need to go with the others."

"Yeah . . . I don't like that plan," Nova shrugged and pointed her wand at Rudolphus. "Anteoculatia!"

Rudolphus Lestrange now had antlers sprouting from his head.

"Yeah and I don't like you being in the mix of battle, but here we are!" Remus yelled over the fighting.

"That's nice!" Nova yelled as she and Remus ducked behind a boulder for momentary shelter.

"Is there a reason you are having a casual conversation at such a bad time?" Regulus groaned. "So much like your father."

Moody appeared behind Nova and sent a rat-faced (not Pettigrew) Deather Eater backward.

"Nox," He said gruffly. "You left defense is sloppy!"

"'Ight, Moodster!" Nova called back as she engaged in a duel beside Harry and Sirius.

"BOMBARDA!" Nova shouted pointing at a rock that stood nearest to Matthew Morgenstern. The explosion of the boulder caused Matthew to fly across the room and hit the wall with a painful crack.

"Nice on, Lion!" Sirius congratulated as he sent another Death Eater flying.

"These stubborn arse mules keep coming! I swear they're bloody multiplying!" Nova hissed angrily.

"Dunno what for?" Harry groaned as he sidestepped to the left, hoping to ignore the blast of light that came towards him. "Prophecy is destroyed."

"The one bloody thing you were there for," Marlene grumbled angrily.

"How delightful!" Nova said sarcastically. "Cover me!"

"W-what?" Harry asked as Nova tied her hair into a bun with her wand.

"I'm all for hair looking amazing, but this isn't the time, Lion!" Sirius hissed as he blocked another spell.

Nova rolled her eyes as she stepped in front of her father and boyfriend.

"Pelen dân," She whispered before throwing fireballs at any and all Death Eaters coming their way.

"HELL YEAH!" Regulus cheered.

"Or . . .you can do that!" Harry yelled over the ruckus.

Sirius pulled Nova and Harry behind one leg of the archway.

"Now, listen to me!" he said urgently. "I want you to take the others and get out of here!"

"What?" Harry exclaimed. "No! I'm staying with you!"

"Like hell I'm leaving!" Nova hissed.

"You've done beautifully," Sirius told the two. "Let me take it from here."

"When I start something," Nova said stubbornly. "I finish it."

Sirius looked both proud of his daughter and ready to throw her over his shoulder and run to Alaska.

"Black!" Lucius growled.

"It's Lupin-Black!" Sirius and Nova yelled in unison as Sirius blocked the spell Ferret Senior sent their way.

Bellatrix's cackling laugh sounded as she appeared beside Lucius.

"Hey, Bella-bitch!" Nova taunted. "You got a not so little bruise on your sniffer!"

"Please tell me you did that," Sirius said as he blocked a spell Bellatrix sent flying towards them.

"Yes, I did, Padre Numero Dos!" Nova grinned.

"Expelliarmus!" Harry shouted, successfully disarming Lucius.

"Nice one, James!" Sirius congratulated.

James winced at his friends remark.

Nova, who had been dueling Bellatrix, paid no mind. She cast a shield charm as red sparks transmitted from her cousin's wand.

The younger Lupin-Black twisted her wrist expertly as she threw spell after spell. But Bellatrix was better. She began to overpower Nova. A jet of red light slipped under Nova's arm. Nova, frustrated she slipped up, fought back with all she had.

What she didn't hear was everything stop. What she didn't hear were Harry's screams.  She did not see the laughter slowly faded from her Da's face as he fell into the veil.

Lily grasped James' hand in shock, silent tears rolling down her face. James looked over at his friend, making sure he was still there. When he did, he saw him with one arm around his husband and the other around his daughter.

"STUPEFY!" Nova yelled. It didn't stun Bellatrix, but it looked like it. Voldemort's most loyal follower took this as her chance to leave. It was a mission that failed. 

"Da! Look! I did it!" Nova celebrated as she spun around to talk to her father. "She's gone!"

The large grin that was once on Nova's face faded once she saw he wasn't there.

"Da?" Nova asked hopelessly as she searched for him.

"SIRIUS!" Harry yelled, "SIRIUS!"

Remus's arms were wrapped around Harry as he pulled him away from the veil.

"There's nothing you can do, Harry —" Remus cried.

"Get him, save him, he's only just gone through!"

"It's too late, Harry —"

"We can still reach him —"

Harry fought viciously in Lupin's grip.

"There's nothing you can do, Harry . . . nothing. . . . He's gone."

"No. No. No. No. No." Nova repeated as the reality of the situation set in.

Tonks rushed forward to grab Nova.

"DA!" Nova screamed. "GET BACK HERE YOU BLOODY COWARD! DA!"

Silent tears ran down Sirius' face.

"Nova," Tonks pleaded. "You can't-"

Nova fell to her knees as she let out a scream. A scream full of pain. As she screamed, a burst of energy left Nova's body knocking every Death Eater towards one wall.

Harry escaped Remus's grasp as he ran after a yelling Bellatrix.

Remus moved to chase after him, but he saw his daughter on the floor.

"Lion . . ." Remus whispered faintly.

"No. He isn't dead, Pa," Nova insisted. "H-he can't be dead!"

"Lion . . ." Remus said quietly as he knelt next to her. Remus embraced his daughter.

Nova's caramel eyes slowly switch from one of overwhelming sorrow to one of anger. She jumped to her feet and stormed out of the room.

"BELLATRIX YOU BITCH!" Nova roared angrily.

"NOVA!" Remus's voice drifted one ear and out the other.

"COME HERE YOU WORTHLESS PIECE OF DEATH EATER SCUM!" Nova continued to yell. "I HAVE A BONE TO PICK WITH YOU!"

Both Tonks and Remus chased Nova.

"COME OUT, YOU BLOODY COWARD! YOU KILLED MY DA!" Nova shouted angrily, her voice echoing. "COME OUT AND FIGHT ME YOU FUCKNG BITCH!"

Even if Bellatrix wanted to fight Nova, she couldn't. She had been ordered by her Master to not harm the girl.

"I WILL MURDER YOU!" Nova's voice drifted to the ears of Dumbledore, Bellatrix, Harry, and Voldemort.

"Looks like your little soldier is on the dark path of revenge," Voldemort teased.

"BELLATRIX! I WILL BRAID YOUR INTESTINES WITH ACID!" Nova yelled. "I DELIVER YOU IN A SPARKLY PINK BOW TO VOLDEMORT'S DOORSTEP!"

Nova stopped yelling the moment she stepped into the room Voldemort was in.

Dumbledore was fighting Voldemort. Harry was to the side. Bellatrix was also to the side, waiting for her master to come into play.

"I have always been amazed by that man's magic," James' said in awe. Nova made a face of disgust.

Nova marched angrily towards Bellatrix. The moment she caught sight of Nova, she flooed away.

"Stay where you are, Harry!" Dumbledore yelled.

This drew Nova's attention away from revenge. Much to her horror, Harry was on the floor with Dumbledore kneeling over him. It was clear Harry was in pain. But what shocked Nova more was what Harry was saying.

"You've lost, old man," Harry hissed villainously. His back arched as he groaned in pain.

Nova instantly rushed forward pushing Dumbledore out of the way as she did so.

In Harry's mind, Voldemort was trying to possess him.

His mother's screams ran through his mind. Cedric's body hitting the ground. Sirius falling through the veil. Dementors. Nova's body falling to the ground.

Harry began to pant heavily.

Dumbledore was now on Harry's other side.

"Harry," Nova whispered faintly.

Arthur's body, covered in blood, hit the ground after Nagini attacked him.

So weak, Voldemort taunted from inside his brain. So vulnerable.

Images of Harry being all alone circulated through his mind. Of his face morphing into Voldemort's.

Nova's lifeless body hit the ground again in Harry's mind.

"Harry," Dumbledore whispered to Harry. "It isn't how you are alike. It's how you are different."

Harry continued to struggle. He couldn't hear Dumbledore. It was like he was underwater.

"Harry," Nova said softly as she grabbed his left hand. "You're brave. You're strong. You fight for what's right."

Harry continued to struggle with haunting images.

"You're the same boy that bought a whole sweet trolly for your friend," Nova said again. "You're the same boy that tripped into my life with your glasses askew and your tie undone. You're the same person you've always been. Voldemort has nothing to do with who you are, Har."

Slowly, Nova's voice made its way to Harry's mind.

"Harry, you are different than him," Nova said softly as she forces her words through his mind. "You are the light. He is the dark. You are the hope. He is the description. You are brave. He is cowardice. You are compassionate. He lacks the ability to feel love. You are loved. He is feared."

Don't listen to her, Voldemort hissed.

"Zip it, Tom! I'm giving my speech!" Nova demanded harshly before continuing her speech. "I know you are loved. I know you are loved because I love you, Harry James Potter. I already lost my Da, I can't lose you." Nova's voice broke. "If you don't come back, I'm marrying Dudley."

Memories flashed through Harry's mind.

Harry and Ron laughing at some terrible joke Ron made. Hermione hugging Harry after she was free from her petrified state. Sirius and Remus joking with Harry. Kissing Nova.

"You're the weak one," Harry said in a faint voice. "You'll never know love, and I feel sorry for you."

People began to appear. Their reactions to Voldemort were similar. Nova felt like she swimming underwater. She wasn't aware of any of her surroundings. The only thing she was aware of, was Harry's hand in hers.

"H-he's back!" Fudge exclaimed.

This brought Nova to her sense.

"You think?" Nova yelled sarcastically as she took a step towards him. "Thanks to you're mistakes and fear of the truth Voldemort has been able to wreak havoc! You, sir, have been nothing but a coward! You are not fit to lead the Wizarding Community! As one of the teenagers you had the Daily Profit harass, I will make every second of my life fighting towards your resignation."

Following the memories, Sirius could be seen holding his husband and daughter tightly. He apologized for leaving them and moreso, the sorrow it caused them. His heart broke seeing the way his daughter had fallen to the floor at the discovery of his death. It broke his heart seeing his husband pull her into his arms as he sobbed the pain.
