A Fluttering Heart / Prologue
My phone was lagging intensely because of all the notifications crowding the apps. 5,673 to be exact. They weren't even valid, just emails about random bts shit from my old friends.
My eyes were starting to sting from staring at it all night. I was trying my best to look at all of them just so that my phone would stop lagging. Of course this didn't work. As I accidentally clicked into photos a certain picture I had saved a while ago caught my eye.
The picture was of Park Jimin, looking very young and mochi-ish. A wave of memories hit me hard in the heart. The memories of me and my friends gushing about bts like annoying fan girls for hours. These weren't what made my heart flutter so much.
My heart almost stopped when I remembered the one bts concert I went to when I was 18.
"SQUEEEEEAAALLL!!! they're talking to fans!!!! We should totally go doooo itt!!" Kide said. "JHOPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Sanghae screeched to the stage. "What would I say... talking to Jimin, a-and my st-st-stutter.." I said, stuttering. "JIIIII-SUUU! I know you can dooo it!" Kide said, insistently. I finally gave in and thought, Well, maybe while we stand in the endless lines I can work out something to say...
When I finally made it to the front, I hadn't even decided on words to say. I didn't notice, but I had my eyes closed and when I opened them I saw him. He was there, looking at me, probably expecting me to say something. I bit my lip and stared at him.
"I LOVE YOU PARK JIMIN!" I blurted out. Inside I hated myself but I simply ran away and tried to find Sanghae and Kide. Sanghae looked awestruck as she walked out of the throng of Jhope fangirls thickening quickly. I asked her where Kide was and she said " She's still at the Taehyung booth. The line's longer than the Jhope one.
We both tried to make our way around the enormous crowd of Taehyung fangirls. I craned my neck and caught a glimpse of Kide babbling to Taehyung like the dork she is. She finally stopped and looked around. When she saw us she quickly headed for us. As this was happening, I looked over to the Jimin booth and saw him squint at the crowd and make a slight smile right in my direction.
And That Was The Moment The Days Of Intense Butterflies Began.
