I seen G carrying Marylin. I stare at them. This is how I want Gerald to be for now on. A loyal man to his wife and kids.

I walk him out at the backyard. I introduced him to my family. I hope uncle Tony and kade don't hurt him "This is Gerald, my husband"
Uncle Tony got up and gave him a good stare. He stood up to G face to face. Then shook his hand. "Nice to meet you Gerald. I'm Anthony, Maggie's uncle"
"Yeah heard bout you" my aunt Erika got up quickly and separated them.
"Hi I'm Erika, Mags aunt." Uncle Kade didn't say a word but just stayed settled.
"Oh look Suzanne is bringing out the cake." I hope there's no beef around here. After the cake we sat there talking and relaxing. "So Mags when is baby number two coming?" Ask aunt Erika
"Soon."
"Let me guess, your seven to eight months pregnant"
"Yeah"
"Are you having a boy or a girl. Cause we Ohio boys are athletes" said uncle Tony
"We making it a surprise between us. But how long are you staying"
"A couple weeks" said uncle kade "but Jake"
"If he's coming, I don't want him near me because my dad is, I have no words to explain how or what is he feeling"
"Why how's Chance" ask Uncle Tony. G came back from putting Marylin to sleep. "What's going on"
"You didn't miss much babe. Where just talking about my dad" he sits down than he grabs me to sit on his lap.
"Yeah he's not been the same lately since the divorce"
"So Tessa and Chance" asked confused aunt Erika
"Yeah a couple months ago" then my mom arrived from work. James came back from work as well.
"Where's the birthday girl?" My mom asked then James asked
"Upstairs. Sleeping but sit here and chill with us" commented G. So it was all of us, the family. James got up because he heard the bell ring. Everyone understands what is my dad going through. It's hard to deal with but that's life. He needs help. Me and G can't help him anymore, we try but never listens. I want him to go to a rehabilitation center for his good.

"Um Maggie, your.." I see my dad push him "James! Are you fine?"
"Yeah Mags. I'm fine"
"Hello Everyone!" We all stare at him "what's up uncle Kade! Hey Erika! Toner! Oh hello Ms Brooks. Gerald. My baby girl Maggie"
"Hey dad can you please sit down we need to talk" he sits down
"Dad. I love you very very much but this isn't you, your not like this."
"You told her Gerald. I fucking told you not to say shit"
"He hasn't say anything. G what's going on"
"Tell her" my dad was pissed
"Your dad has something to say. I wanted to tell you but it's best that he tells you. I'm not hiding anything. I swear baby"
"Dad what's going on!"
"Okay. I've been lying to you and your mother for a long time. I kept this secret from you but only tony knows"
"Uncle tony?"
"Maggie I love you but I'm sorry" uncle tony
"What is it? Tell me! Now!"
"Baby relax" G told me
"No I'm not going to relax! I need to know now!"
"It's not good for the baby" Gerald tells me
"Maybe it's best that we leave Chance and Maggie some privacy." My aunt Erika suggested. Everyone leaves expect my mom and G stays.
"All this time, I was never married to you Tessa. This 'marriage' that you thought was fake. I was actually married to another woman. And I had a son with this woman. Yeah Maggie I remember that you wanted a sibling. But guess who didn't want more kids. Your mom"
"How could you Chance! To me I loved so much! I'd never lie to you, hurt you! So you leaving to Ohio visiting family, to see this woman" my mom was angry but mostly upset. i couldn't believe him
"Mom is that true. You didn't want more kids"
"Maggie, after you were born, I lost a lot of blood. I was in risk to die. The doctor gave me a choice, to get an operation to not have kids. I'm sorry baby. I know you wanted siblings but I couldn't have any" my mom told me tearing up
"Dad! how could you do this to me! Why didn't you say shit!"
"Maggie relax" G told me tried to calm me down
"All these fucking years you stayed quiet. Stayed fucking quiet."
"The truth is that I'd never loved your mother but you made me change."
"Oh so that's gonna make me better. You left my brother abandoned for so long"
"That's not true. I was there for both of you. I helped your brother with his needs, I'd visit him in Ohio and in LA. That's the reason why we had to move in the first place"
"Leave" I mummered
"What?"
"I wanted you to fucking leave. I don't want to see you" he did listen to me after all.

But why did he never say anything to me. So I'm not his only child. I went upstairs. I wanted to cry myself to sleep.

9:45pm
I woke up in Gerald's old room. It was already night. I didn't want to see anyone. Gerald came in.
"Maggie?"
"G leave me alone please. I don't want to see anyone now" I broke down to tears
"No no Maggie. Don't cry. Baby your strong than this" he comes closer to me. He hugs me. Why did I wanted to push him away. I laid next to me, wiping off my tears. "Mags" he breaths out deeply "I hate to see you like this. I'm sorry that I didn't tell you"
"It's fine G. Where's everyone"
"There in living room"
"I don't want them to see like this" I began to laugh a little bit. Then G kisses me
"This is how I want to see you baby smiling" we hear someone knocking "come in"
"Hey Maggie, are you fine"
"Yeah mom"
"I'm sorry your feeling that way"
"How are you feeling mom"
"The same as you. Uncle Tony, Kade and Aunt Erika are leaving to find a hotel to sleep."
"Here give them the keys. They can stay in our place" G gives the keys to my mom
"You sure"
"Yeah I think it's best tonight should be me and Maggie"
"Okay"
Suzanne was fine that me and G stayed for the night at her house. Marylin went with my mom. But stay a little bit with Suzanne.

"Thank you G for being here with me, especially now. I love you" I kiss him
"Baby I do it because I love you Mags, never forget that baby" I cuddle with him.
