I couldn't sleep last night. I finally told Mags how I feel for her. I had to text her:
Me: Hey Mags
Mags: Hey Gerald
Me: Can't sleep
Mags: No. still hella nervous
Me: Me neither. Mags I'm always gonna be with you no matter what
Mags: Thanks Gerald
Me: Anytime baby girl 💗

Ah shit it was the wrong move. I'm kinda going to fast.

Mags: Okay babe 💕

Oh god thank you she didn't take it so bad

Me: You should sleep. Don't wanna wake up late for school tomorrow 😂😂😂
Mags: Yeah i will go to sleep.
Me: Should I pick you up or meet at our spot
Mags: If you want to we can walk together to school tomorrow
Me: Okay tomorrow at 7 am I'll be at your house
Mags: Okay goodnight Gerald 💕
Me: Goodnight Mags 💗

Yeah I guess it's official between us.

Next Morning
I woke up at 6 am. Took a quick shower to go to school fresh with my girl. I'd finally told her how I really feel about her.

Yeah I'm going take her out to eat breakfast at IHOP or Starbucks. I don't know where she want to go eat. But for sure she wasn't going to like to spoil her just a little.

I left my room and went down the stairs.
"Bye ma"
"Gerald what's the hurry. It's way to early"
"Ma you will never believe what happened yesterday" James walks to the kitchen to serve himself a cup of coffee.
"Ma its cause Gerald and Maggie are officially together and not in his dreams" he says it proudly in his morning grumpiness.
"Shut up James!!!" I was ready to give him a punch.
"Boys! Boys! Stop now this intense. James if your brother is happy of his relationship you should be happy to. Aw my son Gerald has his first girlfriend."
"Ma stop" I felt a little embarrassed but I guess a mothers do to their kids when they have a real I mean real relationship.
"Okay Gerald but remember be that gentleman that Maggie fell in love with and don't do anything stupid cause it your final year of high school and beginning a life" my ma starts to cry
"Ma don't start to cry. You've been so proud of me since day one and yes I will treat her special. I gotta go now don't wanna bail on her"
"Okay Gerald tell Maggie I say hi"
"Okay ma" I grab my backpack and James start to joke around again "bye Gerald tell hi to Mags for me and don't kiss her so much ooooo"
"Shut up James. See you at school" I walked out of my house and made my way to Maggie's house.

I arrived to Maggie's house. I knocked at her door and Mr Sutton open the door.
"Good morning Mr Sutton"
"Good morning Gerald. Maggie told me that you'll walk her to school right?"
"Y-y-yes sir" she walks out of her house. "Dad I'll be fine. Gerald will protect me. Just lay off for once please"
"Alright Maggie. Gerald I want my daughter Maggie to go straight to school"
"Y-yes sir" I said but a little frighten "okay dad you can stop being the overprotective father" Maggie said if it was a joke.
"How did I do cause I tried to be overprotective" Mr Sutton said. "Great but kinda scared him. See dad I told you he'll never do anything to hurt me."

Every time I regret myself how I mistreated Maggie but I'd always have those memories in high school when I loved her and till this day I still love her. But I don't think she would feel the same way anymore...

"I would never do anything to mistreat her because I love her so much." I grab one of her hands.
"Alright then, if both of you guys are happy maybe I should lay off a little bit. You guys should go now. I don't keep you guys from school." chuckled a little bit. "Alright dad." Maggie waved away her father. We started walking to school. As frighten I was I couldn't say a word to Maggie. "Baby you seem to be scared"
"Yeah just a little bit"
"He'll never hurt you"
"Yeah I guess your right" I kiss one of her cheeks.
"Are we gonna wait for your brother James and Marty?"
"Well I was thinking to take you out for breakfast before we go to school"
"What wait"
"Yeah my invite"
"Gerald it's to much, you would always buy my food"
"Because I at that time I wanted to spoil you but as tough, amazing, beautiful you are, I wanted you to be my girl"
"You don't have to worry"
"Come on baby girl. Where do you wanna go eat? Starbucks. IHOP, you name it"
"But those places are expensive"
"Don't worry. It my treat. I was wanna spoil my girl very once in a while"
"Okay fine" she decided to get coffee from Starbucks.

We enter Berkeley High School. Yes our final year in this misery of school. No more bullshit nor drama.

Everyone see's us surprised together. As always the drama starts with one of the jocks or the prettiest girl in school. People started to mumble. "Ugh they're starting bullshitting again" Maggie was done with this. So was I.
"I'm done with this bullshit also Mags but don't give a shit what other people think. I'm here for you cause I love you"
"I love you to Gerald" she gives me a hug.

We walk together toward the main office to get our schedule again. We both compare our classes. Basically we have the same classes together expected for one. Maggie have Drama class for period six and I have Spanish class. Really that shitty class again.

It was lunch. We had one hour to do anything. My plans were always be hanging with my brother and Marty or just chill with Maggie and get a burrito from the restaurant Gordos. But this time it was different. Me and Maggie were staying in fifteen minutes in class to finish an assignment. (That was easy but Mr Ortiz want more that the assignment was asking). I waited for Maggie till she was finished. Two minutes later she was finished. We both leave from History class and we bumped into Belinda and her football player Logan.
"Oops I'm sorry, we didn't mean to bump in to you" she wasn't sincere. Maggie was over it, over her bullshit. "I see you and Gerald are dating"
"Yeah but that not your business Belinda"
"Okay I didn't just hear you talk back to me"
"What happens if I did. You don't got the balls to do shit Belinda. Let's remember how I beat the shit of you last year."
"Yeah I remember. And do you remember how I almost had you and your boyfriend expelled from this school"
"Yeah we do remember" I could see that she wanted to fight her again. "Mags don't do it" I whisper to her ear.
"Aw you should listen to your boyfriend. I think he has the fully command to give you orders" she started to laugh
"Whatever"
"Don't you ever whatever me" she grabs her arm. Shit I think this time Maggie was getting kicked out. I quickly carry her away from Belinda and Logan.She try to battle me to let her go but I didn't let her. We were outside of the school.
"Gerald I'm done with this" she begins to cry. I quickly hug her. "I-I-I'm done. I can't do this anymore. When will she ever stop torturing me?"
"Mags, your a strong person. Don't let anyone put you down and she won't have the balls to do anything cause you have me" she's stares at me. Her eyes so watery from all the crying. "I don't want you to cry anymore cause your way to beautiful"
"Thanks Gerald"
"Hey I love you Mags"
"I love you G"
"Are you hurry?"
"Yeah I am" she giggled
"Let's go get some burritos then" we left school to go to Gordos.

I sure hope Mags can survive this with me
