By now everyone knows that Maggie and I are trying to have another baby Gillum. Yeah since she said after giving birth to Marylin, something had happened. She didn't tell me directly that time. Yes I'm scared as fuck to know because I think I maybe lose one of them. But I'm not going to think about that.

Maggie called the clinic for an appointment to make sure if she can or can't have another Gillum. I pray and I pray every day to have another one.

The day has come to know the truth. I'd called my ma and my brother to babysit Marylin for the day. Everyone knows how anxious we're are to know the truth. We tried our best every night. Basically everything. "Thanks ma and James for doing this favorite for us. It means to much"
"Don't worry Gerald. Whatever happened today, we'll always be here for you and Maggie." We left my apartment. I see Maggie shaking. "You okay?"
"Yeah just a little nervous" I grab one of her hands
"Everything will be okay" on the way to the clinic, Maggie's mother called her. She knew today is the day to know the solid answer but also giving her some bad news.  "What happened baby?"
"My dad wants a divorce"
"Why? How come?"
"Because he doesn't feel the same way as before to my mom"
"I'm sorry to hear that baby even now"
"Everything is piling up one by one" I calm Maggie before we arrive to the clinic.

We arrived to the clinic. It was pretty fast. But the worse was waiting for the results.
"Hello I'm Dr. Gomez. You must be Maggie Gillum. And this is"
"Gerald Gillum, Maggie's husband" I shook his hand
"Okay. We have your test results but I wanna ask something. Is this your first pregnancy?"
Maggie responded "No."
"So you wanna try to get pregnant again"
"Yeah, we've been trying after a month I gave birth to Marylin." She grabs my hand
"Okay then. Have you took any birth control pills lately, after your daughter Marylin"
"Yeah it was prescribed from Dr. Lee"
"I see. Well these results can be surprisingly" he gives Maggie a envelope. She sees the results. "What does it say?" I ask

"I don't understand Dr. How can his happen. I've been in a good diet, I workout daily."
"These results can happen to many women."
"Why?" How come?"
I calm her down "Maggie, relax"
"It can maybe happen after giving birth to a child can complicate things, or the pills that your taking is affecting your eggs to be reproducing that prevent have a baby"
"This is not true"
"Well there's other options. Have you ever thought of adaptation?"
"Maybe it's fine for now. Thank you Dr. Gomez" he leaves the room. I had to stop this conversation before Maggie started to cry.
"Okay. Have a good day." I got up from the chair and quickly hugged Maggie before she panicked. "G. I can't" I cut her off
"Shhh! It's okay Maggie. I got you here in my arms."
"But Gerald"
"Maggie relax please. Let's just get out of here" we left the clinic right away. The car ride was really quiet. We arrived back home. My ma and James were waiting for us. "So how was it?" James asked. Maggie didn't hesitate to answer, she ran up stairs a to the room and slam the door. "It didn't go so well" my ma said
"No. This broke her heart. She really want to have another baby, ma"
"Oh Gerald. I'm so sorry for you and Maggie but don't be sad. You guys have this beautiful angel here"
"Your right ma. But you should seen her face. Her tears were coming down. I had to hug her before she started to cry"
"Poor Maggie"
"But the worse thing that happened. Her parents are getting a divorce"
"Gerald now you got to be with her more closer" James say
"Yeah I should show to her how strong we should be in this situation"
"Yeah" after my ma and James left I went up stairs with Marylin.
"Maggie"
"Hey baby" I see her crying. I wipe the tears off her face.
"No don't cry" she sees Marylin
"Why not. I can't have any more babies"
"Mags don't think that. We have this one. Will try, try and try again until we have another sucker here with us" she giggled a little "you promise me you never cry again"
"I know"
"I don't wanna see my girls cry for any reason because I'm here and I love them so so much"
"We love you to G" she kissed me then kiss Marylin.
