The Day I Met You (A SHINee fanfic): Chapter 11 (Very short & ending!)

Chapter 11 (Very short!)

It had been three years since Tang and Taemin had started dating. It had been 2 years since they had started dating out in the open. Taemin had been scared that she wouldn’t know how to deal with the fans, but fortunately, they accepted her and loved her. She often got tweets and messages from some of them, supporting her relationship with him. Sometimes, she got the odd hate message here and there, but she wasn’t really bothered about them.

She knew that all they were was jealous. She knew that she would be if she was in their position, but thankfully, she wasn’t. She was right where she wanted to be, by Taemin’s side.

Three years had flew by, yet each day surprised her and took her off her feet. Each day was a blessing with Taemin as her boyfriend.

Boyfriend. She replayed the word in her head – each time she repeated the word, she loved the word even more. She couldn’t believe it, she’d wake up every day with a smile on her face – Taemin, the guy she had absolutely loved and adored from her favourite k-pop band was finally her boyfriend! She still couldn’t believe it, in fact, she often pinched herself to check if she was dreaming.

Each time it hurt, but each time she did it, she was happy.

“You can open your eyes now.” Taemin’s voice called out.

She opened her eyes and made some sort of unintelligible noise from her throat. Taemin was standing there in a suit and tie, holding a big sheet of paper. She couldn’t see the whole sentence, except from the words ‘WILL’ and ‘ME?’

She broke down in tears, as she realized what he was asking. As she cried, she heard the pauses in his voice as he began to speak.

“Ever since I met you, I was instantly fascinated. I don’t know what did it for me – was it the fact that you tripped over in my shower? Or was it the first time I heard your laugh? I’m not really good at this, I’m sorry.”

She struggled to keep her giggly-sobs in check, but she was finding it hard.

He continued, “-and I’ve planned this speech five hundred times already, and I still have no idea what to say. So, I’ll just say what comes to me. I’ve never been any happier than I have with you, and I want to hear your laugh for the rest of my life. We’ll have our ups and downs, but I promise that we’ll get through them. Will you please, make me happy for the rest of my life?”

She nodded, her hands were covered in her tears. He dropped the card and ran towards her, picking her up and swinging her around.

“The day I met you, was probably the best day of my life.” She whispered happily into his ear.

----

Cheesy ending, but Tang loved it. Maybe I'll re-write it one day, but I'm so happy it's finished. It was written for Tang, and if she's happy, then I'm happy.

Thank you for the reads, the votes and comments! It really means alot, and thank you for still reading this, until now. I'm slightly surprised that this was really popular.

Thank you, and have a lovely day! xx Gloria
