Chapter 2

The next morning was cold, damp and miserable, Lucy didn't want to get out of bed since she was all wrapped snuggly in her blanket until her alarm clock went off.

"Oh fuck it!! It is way to cold for this shit!" She muttered to her phone to which was getting louder.

Lucy sighed and decided it was time for her to get up so she turned her phone off and jumped in to a steamy hot shower.

When Lucy got out of the shower her apartment smelt of fresh roses and coconut, which to Lucy smelt like heaven, she put on a little music and started to get changed in to a pair of skinny jeans and a t-shirt with a little make up and her hair in a long plait .

"What to have for breakfast?" She looked at her cupboard then looked at the time.

"Skip brekkie I might grab a smoothie on the way to work." She said and grabbed her leather jacket and then ran out the door in to the freezing cold weather.

"Holy crap! It is bloody cold out here." She shivered as she walked to a smoothie bar.

"Well, hello beautiful can I get you something?" The barman said.

"Thank you for the compliment but I will just take an apple and grape smoothie to go please." She spoke with a slight hint of attitude but didn't realise someone was watching her from behind a newspaper.

"Here you go gorgeous one apple and grape smoothie." The barman handed the smoothie over as Lucy pulled out her designer purse from her designer bag.

"It's on the house." He winked.

"Thanks maybe next time I will give you my number." Lucy smiled and walked off drinking her smoothie not noticing the man behind the paper.

"Who was that?" He asked the barman.

"I believe that was Lucy Smith the new actress your company has taken on." The barman spoke.

The man huffed and watched where Lucy was walking too.

"Mmmmm she looked good, good enough for me anyway." The man raised his eye brow and had a dark smile on his face.

As Lucy approached her work she was greeted by all crew.

"Hello Lucy, wow you are more beautiful in person." The film director spoke.

"Thank you."Lucy smiled and finished off her smoothie.

"No worries, names Alex." He winked and chuckled.

"Nice to meet you Alex." Lucy giggled and looked around set.

"So what is this film called." She asked.

"Lost Girl." Alex replied as Lucy looked confused.

"Lost Girl?' She replied.

"It's about a girl named Poppy which is you and she dumps her boyfriend for someone who is evil and she starts falling for him as he does with her but little does she know she is being changed as well." Alex explained.

"Sounds fun, get to be an evil cow on my first film. Neat." She laughed.

"I bet your sexy when you are evil, you look the type." Alex winked.

"That is something you are going to have to find out for your self Alexander." Lucy flirted with him as Tom arrived.

"Hey Luce, Hey Alex!" He called.

"Hey!" Lucy and Alex shouted together.

"How's everything?" Tom asked.

"All good here." Alex replied but Lucy had her focus on a tall, tanned, muscular , brown haired man that followed in not long after Tom,

"Luce." Alex replied and snapped his fingers in front of her but she still had her gazed fixed.

"Who is he?" Lucy whispered.

"Well, he is the boss, Damien Thorn, he is a a complete bastard if you ask me." Alex spoke as Damien came over.

"I would appreciate it if you didn't call me that in front of the company new recruits." He gave Alex a dirty look then drew his eye on to Lucy.

"Hello." He smiled and held his hand out.

"Hello Mr Thorn." Lucy spoke with a hint of shock but shook his hand.

"Please call me Damien." He politely gestured as Lucy smiled.

"How did you do that?!" Alex whispered as Damien walked away.

"No idea. I wasn't expecting him to be nice to me." Lucy looked at Alex and Tom.

"He isnt normally nice." Tom stated and Alex nodded.

Lucy shrugged and giggled.

"Maybe I am just lucky or he is in a good mood." Lucy looked at them both and ran to her room to get made in to character.

"Lucky cow." Tom muttered as he was watching Damien's every move.

"I know right." Alex whispered as Lucy came out of her make up room completely unrecognisable.

"How do I look. I know I dyed my hair." She laughed as Tom and Alex looked at her completely stunned.

"You look amazing if you don't mind me saying so." A deep, dark voice spoke from behind Lucy making her jump.

Lucy turned round to find Damien standing right behind her.

"Thank you, Damien it means a lot." She smiled at him.

"No worries, I need to speak to you after work any way." He smiled and walked off leaving Lucy gobsmacked and her to look at Tom and Alex who in turn could not believe what they heard.
