"AHHHHHH."

Jungkook only sighed as he dug up another spoonful of cereal and munched on it.

"JOOOOOOON."

Jungkook scrolled through instagram, tapping twice on a picture Jimin posted an hour ago.

Damn, those abs.

"AHHHHHHHH, IT'S ON MEEEE."

Jungkook tapped open Hoseok's story. Huh, it seemed as if Hobi had gone trekking.

Good luck to whoever was leading that trek, Jungkook thought with a snort.

It was no secret that Hoseok, his cousin, hated bugs and all creatures creepy-crawly with a burning passion.

"AHHH, GET IT OFF MEEEEE. GET IT OFF MEEEEE."

"I would if you'd just hold still!"

"MAAAAAAAAAAAAA."

"YAHH, WAIT-ack!"

Crash!

Jungkook sighed again.

He slid off the table with another heavy sigh. Was a peaceful morning not written down for him by fate?

Possibly not.

Not when he has Seokjin and Namjoon for parents.

He's not exactly complaining about it but with Seokjin's fear of insects, animals, and loud noises (though not as dramatic as Hoseok's) and Namjoon's legendary clumsiness, there's almost always a moment of chaos in their household.

But would Jungkook trade any of it for a different lifestyle?

No.

No, he wouldn't, he thought to himself with a smile as he nudged the bathroom door open to find his (very much adult) parents, sprawled over the tiled floor.

"Hey, dads." Comes his cheeky greeting as he takes in the sight before him.

Seokjin's almost completely bare, save for the boxers covering his privates (thank goodness for that) and the towel draped haphazardly across his lap. He's perched awkwardly on Namjoon's thighs-well, sort of.

Namjoon's hand rests against the small of his back, pressing firmly where his tailbone would be. His mouth was open a silent groan, his eyes tightly shut.

Then Jungkook spotted it.

The culprit behind the chaos.

A tiny black spider, skittering across the floor, likely startled by Seokjin's ear-piercing scream or the loud thud when he and Namjoon crashed to the ground.

"He's more frightened of you than you are of him," Jungkook chuckled.

"Just get that damn thing out of here," Seokjin snapped, his eyes glued to the spider, body tense and ready to bolt if it so much as twitched in their direction.

Still chuckling, Jungkook stepped forward, scooped the tiny spider off the floor, and unceremoniously, tossed it out the window.

"Done," Jungkook declared, puffing his chest proudly. Then he glanced at Namjoon. "You good, Dad?"

"Yeah, I'm good," Namjoon replied, though his tone carried a hint of exasperation. "I just wasn't ready for the Olympic-level jump he used to launch himself out of the tub and straight into my arms."

Seokjin groaned in embarrassment, burying his face in Namjoon's chest with a small, whiny, "Sorry."

Namjoon let out a small sigh but couldn't help the smile tugging at the corners of his lips. He chuckled softly, then gently tilted Seokjin's chin up with his finger and pressed a tender kiss to his lips.

Jungkook scrunched up his face in exaggerated disgust. "Ew," he muttered, before quickly retreating from the bathroom.

Ten minutes later, Seokjin strolled into the kitchen, fully dressed. Namjoon followed, rubbing his sore back.

"Aish, my little hero. You got rid of that scary spider for me," Seokjin cooed, planting a kiss on Jungkook's forehead.

"Appa, I'm seventeen!" Jungkook groaned, squirming away.

At the same time, Namjoon whined dramatically, "What about me? I took the brunt of the fall for you!" He winced, as if to hammer his point home.

Seokjin rolled his eyes, unimpressed. "You're my husband. You're supposed to protect me."

"Wow. Such heartfelt appreciation," Namjoon said with mock sarcasm, crossing his arms.

Jungkook scoffed, huffing a quiet laugh.

If there was one thing Jungkook took pride in, it was his fearless nature. Darkness, ghosts, horror movies, insects, animals-none of it fazed him. He relished every opportunity to step up and play the "hero" in moments like these.

He wasn't called the "fearless muscle bunny" for nothing!

He feared nothing.

That was until...

The night of Halloween.

"AHHHHHH, JUNGKOOKIEEEEE," Hoseok squeaked in terror and clung onto the taller like a koala bear.

"Hyung," Jungkook groaned, exasperated. He already regretted inviting Hoseok to join him at the haunted house.

Jimin chuckled at the older one's antics. Somehow, seeing Hoseok so scared made him feel a little less afraid.

"They're clearly actors, hyung. No one's trying to kill you," Jungkook said, awkwardly patting his hyung's back.

Just then, a jester suddenly popped out from behind them, revving a chainsaw.

That was the end of it.

Hoseok screamed, bawling uncontrollably, and didn't stop until the jester took pity on him. The chainsaw-wielding figure gently patted his back and led him out of the haunted house, comforting him like a lost child.

Jungkook sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose.

Inviting Hobi was definitely a bad idea.

An hour later, Jungkook returned home, glancing at his wristwatch.

Damn, time really did fly when you were having fun.

It was a quarter past one.

He was pretty sure Seokjin and Namjoon were dead asleep.

Namjoon could hardly keep awake once the clock struck eleven and Seokjin was no better. Jungkook always teased them about it.

Jungkook crouched down and grabbed one of the pumpkin decorations from the porch. He shoved his hand through the eye hole, pulling out the hidden key tucked inside. With a quick twist, he unlocked the door and stepped into the house.

Jungkook walked through the passage, ready to head upstairs when a faint buzz caught his attention. He paused, straining his ears, and heard it again.

Curious, he followed the sound, flicking on the living room light. His eyes landed on the source: Seokjin's phone resting on the teapoy, its screen glowing softly.

He stepped closer.

3 new messages flashed across the screen, all from Yoongi.

Great. Probably complaints about him for dragging Hoseok into the haunted house debacle.

Well, in his defense... Actually, no, he had none. He knew full well what he'd signed up for by convincing Hoseok to tag along.

He sighed, grabbing the phone and turning off the lights before heading upstairs. Quietly, he twisted the knob to his parents' room, careful not to disturb them.

In hindsight, if he could relive that moment, he'd have made a loud noise-any noise-to warn them of his approach.

Because as the door swung open, the sight before him was something he never, in his wildest dreams, imagined he'd see.

Jin's hands were pinned above his head, mouth open in a silent moan as Namjoon, completely bare, rammed his length into him at a relentless pace.

"Yeah. You like that, don't you, baby?" Namjoon growled, snapping his hips harder.

And Jungkook screamed.

Loud and shrill, his voice hitting an octave he didn't even know he could reach.

Namjoon and Seokjin startled so violently that Namjoon slid out of Jin with a sharp jerk. Jin yelped in pain, clutching his lower half.

"Yah, my asshole!" Jin cried, his face twisted in a mix of shock and pain.

"Santa Maria!" Jungkook yelled, panicking as he fumbled with the doorknob. He blindly tried to slam the door shut, all while covering his eyes with his free hand.

""J-Jungkook?" Namjoon stuttered, scrambling to tug the blankets over his and Jin's bare bodies.

In his frantic effort, Namjoon lost his footing, slipping on the sheet and crashing down onto Jin.

"Ooof!" Jin wheezed as Namjoon's full weight crushed him into the mattress, his face turning a shade of both mortified and suffocated.

"It's Halloween! HALLOWEEN! WHO FUCKS ON HALLOWEEN?" Jungkook yelled, his voice still an octave too high. He slammed the door shut with a bang and bolted down the hallway, scampering away like his life depended on it.

Namjoon pushed himself up on his arms, his face as red as a tomato as he stared at the closed door. A faint thud from downstairs signaled that Jungkook had slammed the front door on his way out, likely sprinting to Jimin's for the night.

"Well," Namjoon said after a beat, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. "I guess we just unlocked a fear in our boy."

"Oh, we definitely did," Jin sighed, flopping back against the mattress with a groan of pure mortification.

The end! 😂
