Just before we take off running about three mutts jump out in front of us. We scream and jump back. We were right.

They were the same type of mutts that chased after us in the Hunger Games, and that chased Newt and I to the stone building. Yeah its time to run.

I reach over and grab Katniss's hand and start to back away slowly, careful not to provoke the mutts.

But that didn't work, one mutt snarls and jumps forward."RUN!"I scream.

We took off running fast into the halls of the maze with the mutts right on our heels."We need to outrun them."says Eric.

"We climbed up the Cornucopia last time."says Katniss.

"But Katniss there's no Cornucopia in this maze."I say.

"Well we need to climb something or these mutts are going to catch us and tear us apart."says Katniss.

We look around and couldn't see anything. We then hear a loud snarl and look back to see there are now five mutts chasing us."Come on guys think of something. After all I've been through this is not the way I want to die."says Eric.

"No ones going to die."says Katniss.

Then Gally speaks up."What about climbing the walls by using the vines?"says Gally. It looks like a great idea.

"How do you know it will hold us?"i yell.

"It always did in our old maze."says Gally.

"Fine but if we end up falling and get eaten by those mutts its all on you."says Eric. Gally nods. And with that we run and climb up the next wall of ivy we see.

The mutts snarl and try to jump up the walls and bite our legs, but we were to high already.

Once we make it to the top we sit down to catch our breaths. I'm about to say something when I see light flicker of light deep in the woods. It looked like light from a fire. I pointed it out to the others."Do you think that's where the cranks are holding the others?"I ask.

"Its possible."says Katniss.

"How do we know for sure?"asks Gally.

"Only one way to find out."says Eric. And with that he gets up and starts towards the light. I look at the other and shrug.

We then get up and follow him. The walls lead through the forest all the way to the light. I then hear Katniss gasp at the sight of what we see.

There tied to posts was Newt, MInho, Thomas, a guy I don't know, and a bloody unconscious Four."That's Uriah."says Eric in a whisper.

Minho's eyes shift from the cranks to us. Then his eyes go wide is shock and what looked like fear. He tried to mouth out something but the gag was in the way. So he jerked his head to the side trying to send us a message with his eyes. That's when I realize he's telling us to leave,

I tell the others and they nod. Once we far enough from where the cranks were I speak up."We need to find the others and come up with a plan to save them."I say.

"I agree and we will so lets get moving."says Katniss. And with that we head out into the maze in search for the others.
