A date and..... spies?

Sophia's P.O.V

"So, how has school been so far?" Mrs. Potts asks me.

"Great! I still can't get over the fact that we all have the same classes together!" I replied excitedly. After hearing that Mrs. Potts worked in the library now, I decided to pay her a visit and talk to her, since I haven't seen her in about a year or two. Mother never let me leave the house  much, unless I let her 'style' me as she would say. When she means 'style' she actually means that she's going to put so much makeup on you that you look like a clown or you inhale so much hairspray you feel like that's all you can smell for a week. Mother always said that I'd had to look presentable at all times, and her definition of presentable and my definition, were two completely different meanings.

"Would you like an apple turnover? I made them this morning and I know how much you like them." she asked me. I shook my head in reply.

"No thanks. It's almost lunch time and I don't want to spoil my lunch. Maybe afterwards if you have any left?"

"I'll make sure I do." Mrs. Potts says as the bell rings. I wave goodbye to her and started walking to the cafeteria. When I reached the cafeteria, I looked around for any sights of the girls and realized they weren't here yet. I decided to go claim a table in the corner, next to a window.

"Hey is it alright if we sit here?" A voice asked. I looked up and saw Sam, the guy from homeroom. He had someone with him, who I assumed is his friend Randy that he talked about in class. I smiled and nodded as they sat down.

"This is Randy by the way." Sam said introducing us.

"I'm Sofia!"

"Nice to meet you. Sam has told me a lot about-" Randy started to say, but was cut of by Sam slapping him in the arm. I blushed when Sam looked back and smiled at me. There was a sudden spark that I could tell we both felt. I smiled back and we both looked into each others eyes until, the rest of the girls sat down with us.

"You okay Sofia?" Cora asked me. I broke from my trance and nodded.

"Yep. Everything's fine, perfectly fine. Why do you ask?"

"Well you were staring at-" She started to say. But I cut her off.

"So, anybody signed up for anything?" I asked, hoping for Cora to talk about swimming instead.

"I have tryouts for the swim team Friday!" Cora said excitedly.

"I'm gonna try out for tennis. Always nice to try something new!" Leann said. I noticed that her usual brown shoulder length hair was getting longer, and turning blonde.

"Leann? What's going on with your hair?" I asked.

"I don't know! It started during second period!"

"Hey Sn- I mean Sophia! Can I talk to you for a minute?" Sam asked me. I nodded and he pulled me away from the group and out of the cafeteria.

"Listen, Sophia I um..... I kinda like you?" Sam told me as a rosy red color appeared on his cheeks. My eyes widen and I smile.

"Really?" I asked. He nodded.

"I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date with me? Maybe to the princess cafe across the street after school today?" I jumped up and hugged him.

"Yes!" I let go of him and smiled.

Sam smiled back at me and we walked back to our table with the biggest grins on our faces. Cora took notice of this and smirked.

"So are you guys a couple now or what?" She asked, trying to embarrass me.

"No, he just asked me on a date. We're not official-"

"Yet....." Sam said, cutting me off and making me blush. I sit back down and finish eating my lunch while glancing over at Sam every once in a while. The bell finally rings after another thirty minutes of us flirting and I go to my next class. For the rest of the day, the classes seemed to go slower than normally as I await for the bell to ring to signify the end of the day. I quickly gather up all of my stuff and rushed out of algebra to go to my dorm and get ready. Cora (who was already back in our dorm) laughed at how I threw all of my books and my book bag next to my desk and rushed into the bathroom to get ready.

"You realize you don't have to get dressed up for him right? You're just going to the cafe across the street!"

"I know! But this is my first date and I want it to be perfect." I replied, taking my long black hair out of it's ponytail and tying it into a french braid.

"Now you're starting to sound like your mother...." Cora said, trailing off.

"No I'm not! Plus, I don't look like a clown when I wear makeup like she does." Cora fell to the floor in laughter. I starting giggling as well, and soon it turned into me falling to the floor as well. I sat up after a few minutes, and checked the time on my phone. My eyes widen as I see that it's 3:25, and I only have five minutes to gather up some money, lip gloss and a few other essentials needed for the date. I wave bye to Cora and rushed out of the room and to the elevator. I was so impatient that right before it was supposed to open I decided that I would take the stairs instead. I finally made it to the entrance to the school with one minute to spare.

"I thought you were going to ditch me." I heard a voice say. I turned around to see Sam, smiling at me with a single rose. He handed it to me and I smiled.

"Aww. You didn't have to!"

"Oh, yes I did." He replied, while blushing.

"So, should we start walking over there?" Sam asked me. I nodded my head and we starting walking to the cafe in silence. But, it was that nice, comforting silence. When we reached the cafe I saw a few other students working on homework, or just hanging out. I went up to the counter and ordered some warm apple cider, and an apple tart. Sam ordered a hot chocolate with a blueberry muffin. As I started to take some money out of my purse to pay for my food, Sam quickly payed for both of us and I looked at him, crossing my arms.

"You didn't have to do that! I had my own money to pay!"

"I am being a proper gentlemen!" He exclaimed, as he sat down in a window seat. I sat across from him and took a sip from my apple cider.

"Fine. But next time I'm paying!"

"Next time?" He asked, eyebrows raised.

"Yes. Next time....." I took another sip from my apple cider and felt myself blush. For the rest of the date, we talked about ourselves in order to get to know each other better. Even though I knew a lot about him already, from the game we played in homeroom on the first day. After we ate, he walked me back to my dorm and frowned when we finally reached it.

"See you tomorrow then."

"Yea...by the way I had a great time." I told him. His wonderful smile returned and took my hand.

"I did too. Is it alright to sit with you and your friends again at lunch tomorrow? Along with Randy?" I nodded and he kissed my cheek.

"Until tomorrow then." Sam said, letting go of my hand and walking back to his room.

3rd P.O.V.

"So?!" A mysterious figured asked to a boy. The boy, getting angry, slammed his fist on the table while is hair lite up in blue flames.

"Father! It's only been a couple of days! That idiot girl already trusts me, but the others I could tell are still skeptical! You know we don't strike until Homecoming!" His father's hair also lite up with anger, almost turning his son into a worm.

"You do not yell at your own father you understand?! And you-" He turned to another teenage boy that was sitting across from him.

"What have YOU done to help with this operation? From what I heard, you deserve to be turned into a worm!"

"You know you can't do that or my father will throw you  the River Styx like Hercules did to you all those years ago!" Snow started to surround the boy, he noticed this and calmed down.

"I have been flirting with that blonde hair chick. She's as gullible as her mother was...." He laughed.

"Do better than get close to them! Join their friend group, hang out with them 24/7! King Hans and Queen Elsa will not be pleased with this update! Now get back to that school understood?!"

"Understood." The boys got up and started walking back to their dorms.
