I came home to see Mom waiting at the door. "Ashlyn, we gotta go." I looked at her confusingly. "What's the occasion?" "Minemart. Ivor is there. With his son." "His son? Why?" Mom looked at me weirdly and said, "Yeah, his son. What about him? You've known him for years." I shrugged. "Oh, I don't know. Probably because ISAAC WAS A JERK TO ME!!!" "Since when?" Mom asked. "Don't you know? He cheated on every. Board game. We played." I said. "So how was he a jerk?" "Behind your back, he stole my bike and rode it around the block without my permission." Just then, Mom's phone went off. She answered it. "Oh hey!" Pause. "Really? Why?" Long pause. "Ok that makes since." Pause. "Yup can do. Ok bye." She hung up the phone and said, "Ivor has stuff to do before we can go to Minemart." "Why are we meeting at Minemart, of all places?" I asked curiously. "He wants to ask about the Old Builders and stuff. And Ashlyn, be on your best behavior." Mom replied. "Ok sure." I shrugged. I put my earbuds in and started listening to what I call THE BEST MUSIC EVAH!!

Yes this is the music!! After the song was over, Mom hollered, "Ok Ashlyn, let's get going!" "Ok!" I replied. Geez, I'm NOT in the mood to see Isaac. I hope he changed for the better. Anyway, I left the door and sat in the front seat. I plugged in my earbuds and listened to this song.

IT'S AN AWESOME SONG!!! Anyway, we got to Minemart and there was Ivor and Isaac. Standing right over there. Ugh, this will be veryyyyyy interesting. I got out of the car as Mom came around and said hi to Ivor. I don't know if Mom wants me to date Isaac or whatever, but if so, that WON'T. HAPPEN. So I went up to Isaac and said, "Umm... Hi." "Hi." Mom and Ivor walked in as Ivor said, "Isaac, come over by my side." "Sure, Dad." With that, he went around Mom, me, then next to Ivor. THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH, IVOR!!! Wow, I didn't think I'd ever say that. "Oh yeah, Jesse! I forgot to mention, I have a theory!" Ivor exclaimed. "What is it?" Mom asked. "Well, I think Soren is an Old Builder!!" Ivor said proudly. "Actually, you may be right!!" Isaac and I looked at each other weirdly. Soren being an Old Builder? That never popped up in my mind. "Well, he wrote that book for Harper." Ivor said matter-of-factly. Mom nodded in agreement. "Yes! That's probably right!! But wouldn't he have said anything?" Ivor scratched his head. "Eh, who knows with that guy." Ivor guessed. It felt like an ETERNITY in Minemart. Finally, we left the store. YES!! I got in the car and listened to this song.

Lorel: Sup

Ashlyn: Sup

Lorel: Sup with u

Ashlyn: Nothin. Sup with u

Lorel: Wat is it

Ashlyn: Mom insisted that I meet Isaac again. She met with Ivor.

Lorel: Did u talk to him?

Ashlyn: Not much.

Lorel: Davis is over wanna come?

Ashlyn: COMIN OVER RIIIIIGHT NOW!! 😀

So I asked Mom if she could drive me over to Lorel's house. She said yes. So she dropped me off at her house and left. I knocked on the door. Lukas answered. "Oh, hey Ashlyn!! Come on in." Lukas welcomed me. I walked in to see Davis and Lorel chilling on the couch watching Craftflix  "You guys have Craftlix?" I asked. "Yeah." Lukas replied. "We just got our first month of it." Lorel turned around and said, "YAY ASHLYN'S HERE!!" Lorel screamed. "YAY!!" Davis screamed along woth Lorel. "Hey guys." Lukas said. "Yeah?" We asked. "I gotta go to Minemart. Be right back. Love you Lorel." "Love ya!" Lorel replied. As soon as Lukas left, she stood up and said, "Guys! I bugged Dad!!" "What does 'bugged' mean?" Davis asked. "It means I put a tiny microphone on him. We can hear what he says through this speaker. She flipped it on, and we heard Lukas speaking. "Oh hey Petra!" Lukas said. "Hey Lukas!" So far, it looks like Petra and Lukas met up with each other. "Are the kids with you?" Petra asked. "No they're at home. "Ok. Good." "Hi guys!" A guy said. "Axel!!" Petra exclaimed. "Is Zack around?" Lukas asked. He's in the food asile." Just then, the speaker stopped working. Davis looked behind it and said, "Darn! The wires messed up!!" 10 minutes later, he got it fixed and then we heard driving. "OH GOSH HE'S COMMING HOME!!" I yelled. "PRETEND WE'RE WATCHING CRAFTFLIX!!" Lukas came home and didn't say anything. Phew, that was close!!______________________________________________________
