Chapter 7: Escape-Part I
We escaped the caves and went further down the mountain, sunlight hit us through the trees. We soon slowed down to catch our breath while Gandalf counts how many of us were with him.
"Five, six, seven, eight...Bifur, Bofur...that's ten...Fili, Kili...that's twelve...and Bombur That's thirteen, Earenniel you make fourteen." Gandalf says.
Gandalf then looked around, that's when Bilbo was nowhere to be found.
"Where's Bilbo? Where is our Hobbit? Where is our Hobbit?!" Gandalf asks.
Bilbo was nowhere in sight. I was too preoccupied with the goblins that I forgot that Bilbo wasn't captured by them, he wasn't with us. Where is he now?
"Curse the Halfling! Now he's lost?!" Dwalin says.
"I thought he was with Dori!" Glóin says.
"Don't blame me!" Dori says.
"Well, where did you last see him?" Gandalf asks.
"I think I saw him slip away when they first collared us." Nori says.
"What happened exactly? Tell me!" Gandalf yells.
I sense a presence and my eyes darted to a tree. I slowly slip away from the group and walk towards it slowly.
"I'll tell you what happened. Master Baggins saw his chance and he took it! He's thought of nothing but his soft bed and his warm hearth since first he stepped out of his door! We will not be seeing our Hobbit again. He is long gone." Thorin says and I stop in my tracks. How can he say that? How can he have so little faith in Bilbo?
"No, he isn't." Bilbo says.
Bilbo steps out from behind the tree, I was just looking at. The rest looked up in shock and relief, seeing Bilbo appear before us.
"Bilbo Baggins! I've never been so glad to see anyone in my life!" Gandalf says.
Bilbo strides forward into the group and pats Balin affectionately on his shoulder.
"Bilbo, we'd given you up!" Kili says.
"How on earth did you get past the Goblins?!" Fili asks.
"How, indeed." Dwalin says.
There was an awkward silence as Bilbo tries to think what to say. Bilbo gives a nervous laugh and puts his hands on his hips while slipping a shiny object in his pocket.
"Well, what does it matter? He's back!" Gandalf says.
"It matters! I want to know...why did you come back?" Thorin says.
"Look, I know you doubt me, I know you always have. And you're right, I often think of Bag End. I miss my books. And my armchair. And my garden. See, that's where I belong. That's home. And that's why I came back...cause you don't have one...A home. It was taken from you. But I will help you take it back if I can." Bilbo says.
Gandalf smiles slightly, happy that Bilbo has changed for the better. I smiled as well he finally understood what I was saying in the cave before we got sucked through the trapped door.

Third Person POV
Location: Elsewhere...
Azog and his Warg Riders get to the top of the mountain and pick up the company's trail.
"*Khul ri dum! Rak shi zithroma ru doi!*"(*Run them down! Tear them to pieces!*) Azog says.
Azog swings his mace forward, and several Wargs, without riders, leap forward and race down the mountain after the company, howling.
Upon hearing The wargs the company realized they were far from safe. Looks like there's going to be a lot more running.
"Out of the frying pan..." Thorin says.
"And into the fire! Run! Run!" Gandalf finishes.
The company starts running down the mountain as fast as they could as the Wargs followed them at a fast pace. Everyone quickly climbs up tall trees once they reach a dead end. It was there Only Safe place from the wargs clutches. Bilbo was the last to get up a tree. He just finished fending off a loan Warg with his unnamed dagger.
"They're coming!" Thorin shouts.
Gandalf climbs to the top of the furthest tree. Dwalin gives Balin a boost up to the tree. Thorin, Bombur, and the rest climb up trees too.
Dozens of Wargs circle the trees the company were perched. Gandalf reaches out with his staff and picks up a moth sitting in the same tree as him. Bringing the moth close to his face, he whispers to it, then blows it gently, causing it to flutter away.
The Wargs cease their growling and turn to the White Warg, with Azog on its back. Azog begins to approach the company slowly.
Thorin looks at Azog in shock.
"Azog?!" Thorin gasps.
As his White Warg growls, Azog strokes it with his claw-arm and talks ominously.
"*Nuzdigid? Nuzdi gast?*" (*Do you smell it? The scent of fear?*) Azog asks.
Thorin continues to stare at Azog in shock.
"*Ganzilig-i unarug obod nauzdanish, Thorin undag Thráin.*" (*I remember your father reeked of it, Thorin, son of Thráin.*) Azog says.
Thorin looks at Azog. Pain and grief evident on his face, realizing that Azog had captured his father.
"It cannot be." Thorin gasps.
Azog speaks to his Wargs and Riders, pointing his mace at Thorin.
"*Kod, Toragid biriz. Woraga-di!*" (*That one is mine. Kill the others! Leave the Demigod.*) Azog says.
The Wargs leaped toward the trees and tried to climb them. They jump as high as they can and as they do the trees shake violently, and the company struggles to hold on.
"*Sho gad adol!*" (*Drink their blood!*)" Azog says.
With the weight of the Wargs climbing it, the furthest tree from the edge of the cliff, which Bilbo and several other Dwarves were on, gets uprooted from the ground and begins leaning off the edge.
As more Wargs grab onto it, the tree tips over and lands on the next tree. The Dwarves and Bilbo jump from the falling tree to the next. While the other's fall like dominoes.
They all manage to safely jump onto the last tree, on the very edge of the cliff.
Azog could not contain his laughter, knowing that the Company was now trapped.
Gandalf, in desperation, looks around for something he could use against the wargs. Luckily the tree they were on had an unlimited amount of Pinecones. He Spies on a pinecone and then grabs it and with his staff and a little help from his breathe he sett it on fire.
He then throws it down towards the Wargs, they soon retreat in fear of the fire. Azog anger risen at his warrior's unexpected resistance. Gandalf lights two more pinecones and throws one down to Fili.
"Fili!" Gandalf calls out and Fili catches the pinecone he just dropped,
He then sends the rest of Dwarves, Bilbo and Earenniel Pinecones. All of them through their flamed pinecones at the Wargs forcing them to step further back and later retreated.
Soon all the area around their tree was set on fire. The other Wargs dared not to pass seeing one of their own With their fur in flames. Everyone in the company cheers.
Though their cheers of victory were not long lived. Their cheers turned into cries of fear as the roots of the tree they were in started to give way. The tree begins to tip over the edge of the cliff, stopping at a hundred and eighty-degree angle anymore and the tree would send the company over the cliff with it.
Everyone tries to hold on as they get flung around and Ori loses his grip on the tree and falls, but manages to grab onto Dori's leg.
"Mister Gandalf!" Dori calls out.
Dori then loses his grip on the tree and falls, but Gandalf quickly swings his staff down and Dori grabs onto it.
"Hold on, Ori!" Dori yells.
"Not really much he could do, I'm pretty sure he doesn't want to fall to his death." Earenniel says, holding onto the tree with one hand and Bifur in the other.
Azog growls in happiness, seeing that the group was clinging to the tree for dear life. Thorin, looks at Azog in hatred and anger. This motivates him to pull himself up with his sword drawn. Everyone watches in horror as Thorin runs through the burning ground towards Azog and his White Warg.
Thorin growls as he runs with his sword up and a branch as shield held in front of him. Azog crouches, then roar as his Warg leaps towards Thorin. Thorin tries to get a good swing of his sword, but Azog's pale Warg hits him in the chest with his forepaw, smashing him to the ground.
As Thorin gets back on his feet, panting, Azog and his White Warg wheel around and charge at Thorin again. Azog swings his mace and smashes Thorin in the face before he could react. Thorin was flung to the ground by the impact.
"No!" Balin cries out.
Azog roars in excitement. Bilbo manages to stand up on the tree. The White Warg clamps its jaws around Thorin and he yells in pain.
"Thorin!" Dwalin cries out.
Dwalin tries to get off and tree to assist Thorin, but the tree branches he is holding on to break, swinging him precariously over the edge.
As the White Warg holds Thorin in its mouth, Thorin manages to hit its head with the pommel of his sword. The White Warg throws Thorin several feet away onto a flat rock nearby. Thorin lands with his sword falling out of his hand and out of reach. He had barely enough strength left to stay conscious.
"*Biriz torag khobdudol.*" (*Bring me the Dwarf's head.*)" Azog says.
One of Azog's Warg Riders jumps off his Warg and approaches Thorin. Bilbo sees this and pulls out his sword, which glows blue. The Orc approaches Thorin and places its sword against his neck. Thorin saw this and tried to reach for his sword, but he was still too weak And his sword was still too far.
Raising the sword, the Orc prepares to decapitate Thorin.
As the Orc swings his sword down, Bilbo throws himself at the Orc, pushing it out the path of Thorin. Bilbo manages to kill the Orc by stabbing it repeatedly.
Azog growls in anger,
Thorin was now unconscious and Bilbo courageously saving him was the last thing he saw,
Pulling his sword out of the dead Orc, Bilbo stands in front of Thorin and protects him. He waves his sword back and forth wildly at Azog and the other Wargs.
"*Golri dun.*"(*kill him*)" Azog says smiling.
A couple of Wargs and Orc Riders approach Bilbo, snarling. Before they could proceed any further, The dwarves and Earenniel plow their way into the fight. They weren't gonna let Bilbo do this on his own. Not by a long shot.
Earenniel gets to Bilbo's side and protects him the White Warg snarls at Earenniel. And blows his noise in Disgust as he smells her scent.
"You're the demigod, the one who will bring Kronos to his rightful home." Azog says.
"How do you know him?, How do you know Kronos?!" She said holding up her bow.
Instead of answering her he gives her a sickly smile leaving her guessing.
