Hilda's POV

I stared at the Pokémon in front of me. It stared back. For the next 5 minutes we stood there studding each other's features. It was just plain white with a caring look in its eyes and I felt as though this was meant to happen. My back was against the wall and I was trying to stay away from it to not get it mad. I mean this thing could eat me if it wanted to. And I would still like that air con anytime now... please? All of the heat was coming from the Pokémon so I was guessing it was a fire type. It roared and walls opened up behind it and guess who came through.

[No actually guess. Anyone who gets it gets a TACO! No cheating now]

Sawsbuck came through. He was smiling and looking at the new Pokémon and they seemed to be having a talk about something.

Sawsbuck's POV

"About time" I muttered as the secret door to the ancient temple opened. I was kind of scared to find out what was on the other side. I mean I could find Hilda being Hilda... running around being crazy with Reshiram standing there wondering what to do. Or I could find the light stone on the table with a confused Hilda or a burned to crisps Hilda with a Reshiram looking mad. When I went in I did not find anything I was expecting. In fact she was standing there looking in wonder at Reshiram. I had a quick look around the room. Good no fire. What? I am a grass type after all. I smiled at Hilda who gave me a confused look. Reshiram turned to me. "So you chose her?" I asked Reshiram. She nodded. She talked into my mind so Hilda couldn't hear us. – Yes. I have seen the truth in her heart and that she has never told a lie. - She then added - Unless it is to stop someone from hurting. – I nodded. It was true. "While she can get a bit crazy and energetic she is a good person at heart. If she sees a person or Pokémon hurting she will always help. And while all she could here was my name when I tried to talk to her she always... well mostly understood." I looked back at her. I knew I only had a few more days with her... before that monster awakens. Whenever I'm around her I feel happy but now I'm sad that she will leave me. Any other Pokémon would jump at the chance to stay at Arceus's castle but not me. Not with what I have to give up to do so.

3rd person view.

Meanwhile in a cave on the other side of unova a monster begins to wake. His icy breath sends all of the wild Pokémon in the area running for their lives. "Hmm" he says in his deep slumber. "My brother has awoken and now my sister... Hmm... this ought to be good" he muttered not even moving a muscle and going back into his slumber that had been lasting for 10 thousand years.

Time Skip! 9 Days later

Hilda's POV

Over the last few days I have been going back and forth to meet the Pokémon I now knew as Reshiram. We had become really good friends. And as much as I wanted to tell my parents about her she told me not to as she is a rare Pokémon and most humans wanted to catch and hurt her. I understood and decided to keep it to myself. I knew Reshiram had no need to hurt me after 5 days ago I was playing with Sawsbuck and some Deerling when a group of touros came charging at us. Reshiram who had been flying overhead had flown down from the sky and told me to get on her back. Sawsbuck had taken Deerling to safety. So I had no other choice. I nodded as I climbed on and she flew back to the temple keeping out of sight of course. Sawsbuck was waiting for us there where we continued to play in the cave. Mainly playing hides and seeks. Reshiram always won as she knew this place like the back of her hand...er...wing?

Anyway tomorrow is my birthday and I'm turning 9! My mum and dad let me go out with Sawsbuck for the night! They said I was never to leave Sawsbuck and to stay with the Pokémon I knew. Although we made plans to go and stay with Reshiram for the night behind there back. I don't like to be sneaky or lie but Reshiram wanted me to. And Sawsbuck agreed. And so I'm getting ready to go...
