Latias flew through the small town of Alto Mare towards the secret garden in the middle. She was excited to see Bianca and Lorenzo as they were having a party for Latios. Just as she was about to pass through the portal she heard a small noise that triggered her curiosity. Latias transformed into her human form, one that looked a lot like Bianca, and walked carefully into a dark alleyway. She went around a few bends and turns still following the noise. As it got closer she could tell it was crying. Human crying. Latias knew that she should stay away from all humans, besides Bianca and Lorenzo, yet the sound was like an infant human. She was torn in two, should she see what was going on or just leave it there. Shaking her head thinking Latios is gonna kill me; she walked deeper in to find a dead end with some garbage bags. Quietly she moved them to find a young human girl sleeping there, or cloths in ruins and she made soft crying noises like she was crying in her sleep. Latias looked around trying to find the humans parents but with no luck. Carefully she reached out and poked the girl trying to wake her up. Finally after the third try her eyes shot open before quickly crawling backwards into the wall, looking at Latias with fear. "GO AWAY!" she yelled crying again. Latias wanted to comfort her but even when she was human she could not speak the human language. She sighed transforming to become invisible. The girl looked around in fear. "Where did you go!" she yelled backing into a corner throwing her arms around trying to hit something. When the transformation was over Latias revealed herself cooing softly at the young girl. She finally stop trying to hit things bringing her arms in front of her face attempting to protect herself yet she was still looking up in wonder at the small dragon type. Latias slowly approached her until she was close enough she nuzzled the young girl. At first she panicked but then accepted it smiling. "Are you going to hurt me?" She asked with her eyes wide. Latias shook her head using her claw helping the girl stand up. Then she lowered her neck helping the girl get on her back and they flew off towards the portal the girl laughing as her hair flapped in the wind.

Latios

"WHERE IS SHE? SHE WAS MEANT TO BE BACK HERE BY NOW!" I yelled earning puzzled looks from our human friends. I was about to go on another rant when the portal finally opened and Latias flew through smiling at me. "HAPPY B DAY BIG BROTHER!" she yelled happily. I was about to get mad when I heard the humans gasp at Latias. Puzzled I looked at her to see her helping a small human child off her back. "Ahhh... who is that?" I asked as my sister nuzzled the youngling who was laughing. My human friend Bianca walked forward followed by her grandfather Lorenzo. "Latias have you been child knapping?" Lorenzo asked glaring at the child who backed away from them in fear. Latias shook her head hugging the girl before looking serious at us. Wait Latias being serious! I have seen it all! "No... I found her in a dark alley way like this. When I was in a human form she backed away in fear until I turn into my normal form..." she said a sad look on her face. When Bianca tried to approach the girl she ran hiding behind my sister starting to cry. "So she afraid of human right Latias?" Bianca asked looking at her. "Yeah...It would seem that way..." Latias explained. Lorenzo nodded. "I see..." the only people who could understand us where our guardians or people we were friends with. Lorenzo was our guardian and Bianca was our best friend and next in line to be our guardian. Latias looked at me. "Can you see inside her memory? I want to know why she doesn't trust anyone and am ready to run away" Latias asked a worried look on her face. I was confused. Why bother helping the child! All humans, with the exception of Lorenzo and Bianca, hunted us for a collection. Surly this human would be the same when she got older. Latias gave me her best pouty face and I sighed. I could never say no to her. I slowly flew up to the girl who only stepped back in fear looking at Latias for help. Latias nodded pushing her forward gently towards me and she looked up into my eyes before reaching her hand slowly up touching my neck. I felt like dragon clawing her hand off but Latias gave me a look as if she knew what I was thinking. Wondering why Arceus made me have a little sister I looked into the girls eyes seeing her memories. After seeing them my anger softened into pity. Finally I broke contact looking at the others. "She was thrown out onto the streets as a 3 year old and then some Pokémon took care of her. Then one day they disappeared leaving her behind. Then some other humans found her and beat her up tearing her cloths. After that she stayed away from everyone including Pokémon hiding in the alley way where you found her...she's only 4 now..." I said to everyone and Latias looked like she was going to cry. I looked back at the girl to find she had crawled over to Latias and fallen asleep under her hovering body crying softly. Latias picked her up cuddling her. "What's her name?" Bianca asked. I shrugged. "She doesn't know her name" I said. "I want to look after her..." Latias slowly said looking scared at us. Most likely wondering what our reactions would be. "WHAT!!" we all yelled at her. "Pokémon CAN'T LOOK AFTER A CHILD!" Lorenzo yelled. "HUMANS SHOULD CARE FOR HUMANS! Pokémon CARE FOR Pokémon!" I yelled at her as she looked at Bianca for her reply. She stayed quiet for a while looking at each one of us tapping her foot. Finally she turned to Latias. "I'll help you Latias by bringing food and things for her..." she said quietly while her grandfather glared at her. Latias squealed a thank you almost dropping the sleeping child. Lorenzo and I sighed together. We knew we could not win this fight. But maybe I could give a hand. We just have to wait and see. "Ok well what are we waiting for? Let's eat!" Latias yelled using physic on Bianca and Lorenzo while still holding the child and flew off towards the table in the middle of the garden.

Latias

Later that night

The young girl had woken up a few hours ago and only stayed by my side. It was easy to tell she didn't trust anyone here and refused to leave me. Not that I minded. Every time Bianca or Lorenzo came over she would run away or hide behind my body softly crying. I watched her eat a piece of apple pie that Bianca had cut for her but she would only eat it if I gave it to her. She didn't even trust my brother. Of course when he was constantly glaring at her didn't help. She had finally stopped crying but one wrong move and she would once again. I turned my attention back to the party after the child fell asleep against a tree log only whimpering softly. Everything was starting to be packed up and Latios flew over to me, a frown on his face. "Are you sure you want to do this? It will be a lot of hard work!" he asked looking at the child again. I nodded flying down and curling around her keeping her warm. Bianca walked over smiling holding a large blanket. "I have this for her. It'll help keep her warm" she smiled happily. We nodded and Latios took it just as I was reaching for it. "What are you doing?" I asked him. He smiled using physic to lift up the girl before wrapping the blanket around her before putting her back against my side. "I want to help. But we need to take her to Arceus's castle tomorrow morning to be accepted" Latios said lying down on the grass. Lorenzo came over saying goodnight before taking Bianca home. Latios looked at the girl. "Eon" he said nudging her. "What?" I asked confused. "That's her name. Eon" he said smiling. I looked at her nodding. "Eon... I like it. Our little human Eon" I smiled. Latios curled around the girl as well before going to sleep. I smiled patting the small infant on the head before welcoming the darkness of sleep.
