"A long time ago, there was a queen in the Earth Kingdom who was a great bender and a master at the fans. She protected her people, even when she was laden with child. One day during the seventh month of pregnancy, a fire bend strucked her with a lightning bolt in the center of her back; luckily she survived, but only long enough to deliver her daughter one month later after being bed ridden. There was no knowledge of the father once the warrior had past, on the nape of the child's neck was a slight burn from when the mother was strucked.
The princess grew, following the path of her mother, with the gift of bending and her ability with fans. But she also had a gift for knowledge from her early year in so that she could weave and dye her own cloth that she used to create fans.
When the princess was five years of age, a wealthy and very important family from the Fire Nation arrived to her mother's island. It was a family of four plus an uncle. As tradition on the island when guests arrive, a friendly fight took place: the best fighters from both teams (guest verses home), from the Fire Nation, the uncle and from the Earth Kingdom, the five year old princess dressed in the code of her mother long ago. In the end, after a fight lasting 30 minutes, the princess won using a technique that she developed herself.
Later than night, the princess was kidnapped; never to be heard of again.
