A guest

I walk out of my warm hut into the fresh snow of the South Pole, stretching with a yawn. "Good morning Rinoah." Gran-gran says as she walks by. "Good morning." I smile back, part of my hair covering my right eye, as usual for them. "We have a visited in the tribe, Katarra and Sokka fished him out last night." the matriarch says, chuckling at her joke. I tilt my head, confused, the last person to come to the village was me five years ago. "A young Air nomad from what I was told. Though he hasn't got up yet." she add, my heart thumps, "An Air Bender? But there hasn't been any nomads in years!"

"I know child. Come, his tent is this way." I follow the wise woman over to where the rest of the tribe had gathered. Katarra walks out, followed by a boy looking no older than twelve; he is in clothes colored in that of the Air Nomads and on his bald head and on the rest of his body though not seen: a bright blue arrow.

                  🌊Few hours later🌊

Scareech!! I run out of my tent where I was doing some sewing,"What was that?" I half said before looking up to see a flare. I almost curse, it came from a Fire Nation vessel; Sokka is not going to like this. A few minutes later, Aang ~the Air Bender~ and Katarra runs into the village, "See this is what happened when we trusted him- we let him in and he signaled the Fire Nation!" I hear Sokka yell. "It was an accident! Katarra and I were looking at this Fire Nation ship, and I sort of set off a booby trap." Aang say, and he does sound sorry. "Katarra! You knew better than to go anywhere near that ship!" Gran-gran chide, but Aang spoke up again "It's not her her fault! She told me not to but I pressured her into coming."

In the end, Aang got kicked out of the village. Immediately, Sokka begin to ready himself to fight who ever is to come, I do like wise; I tuck my weapons of choice in my parka along with a bagbof clothes and medical herbs that I had picked long ago. I rush out of my tent, running toward the snow wall that Sokka is standing on. "I wouldn't stand there is I was you." I call, in the distance a warship that despite it being a long way off, I know bares the Fire Nation's flag. Sokka soons yells back "Stop distracting me! I'm going to scare them off before they even reach the shore." I shake my head, he had placed it upon himself to protect the Southern Water Tribe since the day all of the men left to fight in the war.

When the ship arrived, Sokka and his snow drift fell without much of a fight.

"Where is the Avatar?" a young man almost orders once the plank was let down in the snow. The man looks about my age, twenty, and the most prominent feature is the scar on his left eye. No one responds to his question, "Show me the Avatar or I will have this villige burned to the ground." I step forward "I am the Avatar!" I yell, only my voice wasn't alone, Aang's was there also. "Take them both, we will soon find out who's really the Avatar." the man snear, Aang and I were soon bound and shoved into the ship "What are you doing?" Aang whispers to me, I keep silent as the man spoke. "I will interrogate the girl first." he grab me by the arm and drags me down below deck to one of the rooms.

Once inside, he throws me on to the metal floor with such a force that the air got knocked out of me. "Now, what made you think that you could get away with lying to the Fire Nation?" he asks, I cough. The man picks me up by the neck and slams me into the metal wall, lighting a fire in his free hand "Tell me or-" he stops, it was a second before I realize that both eyes could be seen. The man drops me and the fire in his hand goes out. "Who are you?" he asks, but his tone is different, almost- softer?

"Why would my name matter to the Fire Nation?" I manage as I get up. As he was about to speak, Aang bursts in. Using his air bending, he knocks the guy on the ground. I quickly grabs Aang's staff, which the man has took upon out capture, and run out the door with the Avatar.
