That's what I thought!

Anyways.. I was so sick of Camp Half-Blood! Everyone was scared of me! The only people who didn't were Chiron and Nico! Even the almighty Seven were! Percy and Annabeth straight up ignore me, Jason and Piper talk about me behind my back, Leo and Calypso flinch when I walk by, and when Hazel and Frank visit, they'll look at me all scared and run away. Just because of who my father is.

Pathetic.

They all are.

But when Nico and Will got together, my only friend started to ignore me.

I was alone. You might be thinking: "Well you still have Chiron!"

Well that's true, except I don't.

Chiron barely tolerates me.

So..

Thanatos. AKA death himself..

The only person (other than me, of course) who loves him, was my mother. (1) Vitá Theristikí. She was amazing. She was the only person who didn't fear death. I'm was never sure why, though. Look at it this way: Dying is only getting what you deserve. If you were good during your life, you would go to Elysium, eternal paradise, what you gave the people around you. If you were bad, then the Fields of Punishment, living Hell (besides Tartarus) , just what you caused. If you never did anything, however, you would go to to the Fields of Asphodel, where nothing ever happens, exactly what you did. My mom was clear-sighted. She knew my dad was Thanatos, but even then she wasn't scared. Over time they grew feelings for each other, and, well, they had me.

But something happened, and she died.

Anyways.. I got a little off track. Damn ADHD!  (If she was there, I would say 'dam', but she wasn't, soo..)

As I was saying earlier, I was sick of them so I ran away to my father.

Time Skip

"Hey, Dad.." I said hesitantly as I entered his (2)cave.

"Mietitrice! What are you doing here?" He said, his black eyes gleaming with happiness.

"I-I.. I ran away, Dad.." I replied as I lowered my head in shame, my long ebony hair hanging over my face.

"Honey, why would you run from Camp?" He replied with sympathy.

You might be wondering why he is acting so fatherly and caring.

Well Thanatos is like the only god who cares about his kids-- er, one kid.

"Well, nobody likes me, except for Nico, but then he started to date,Will Solace, a freaking son of Apollo, he hasn't talked to me in months! So yeah, I ran away!" I practically yelled at him, my voice laced with anger.

"It's alright," he said softly, "you can stay here. You can help me with my job!"

"Really!" I exclaimed, happily, as I  gave him a hug.

(1) I used Google Translate for this. Her name is supposed to mean 'Life Reaper' her first name is Latin and her last is Greek. I apologise if this is wrong, I don't know either of the languages.

(2) I wasn't sure where he lived in , but I knew it was somewhere in the Underworld. A source I found said he lived in the House of Night, seeing as his mom is Nyx, but that would have been awkward for the plot, so I gave him a cave.
