Hope and Nikki hugged each other again and this time Rebekah joined in. Nikki and Hope both walked into Klaus's office and grabbed the boxes that had their names on. Klaus had told them not to open until either he died or he told them to. They took their boxes to their room but they didn't want to open them yet. Within the next 10 minutes they had a load of people from New Orleans knocking on their door and giving them gifts and saying how bad they felt for Nikki and Hope because they lost their dad. Nikki could tell that everyone felt that Hope deserved more attention because most people just looked at Nikki and ignored her and hugged Hope and asked Hope how she was but not how Nikki was. Everyone gave Hope gifts but Nikki was just looked at. Everyone knew Klaus had two daughters, Her and Hope but it was as if nearly everyone thought that Nikki was just a servant or something. Hope had lost her mom and her dad in under a year but it doesn't mean Nikki is any less important. Hope didn't seem to care that everyone was paying attention to her and seeing how she was and there were only 3 people out of the over 100 people who asked how Nikki was. Marcel, Davina and Kol who came to visit but they all left after seeing Hope, Rebekah and Nikki. Everyone wondered why Nikki looked so upset but they didn't ask how she was or anything. Rebekah stood beside Nikki and hugged her while they watched Hope being so happy getting all of the attention. Nikki didn't want the attention she just wanted to know that people cared about her like they cared about Hope. Nikki walked away but someone tapped her on the shoulder, she spun around and the person gave Nikki a gift and then they left. Nikki was confused but took the gift bag that she had been given to her room. inside of the bag was a note and a little bottle with a liquid in it. Nikki picked up the note which said               "Nikki. I know everyone has been ignoring you so drink what is in the bottle and you'll be acknowledged soon enough." Nikki looked a little confused but she drank whatever was in the bottle. Nikki came falling down the stairs and Rebekah managed to catch her before Nikki broke a bone. Rebekah took Nikki over to a chair and sat her down. Rebekah looked into Nikki's eyes and she realised.                                           "Nikki what have you drank?"                                          Rebekah said looking at Nikki who shrugged her shoulders. Rebekah looked at Nikki again before realising that she had drank alcohol and somehow managed to get drunk even though she clearly hadn't drank much. It took Nikki days to get over it and by the time she had gotten over it, It was Hopes birthday a week later so she had to buy a present, A card and party decorations.
