"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"
Aurora shouted as she woke Nikki up. Even thought Nikki was stuck being 14 it was still her 18th birthday and it was also the 4 year anniversary of Nikki being turned.
"There's a party for you later"
Aurora said with a smile.
*three hours later*
Th party had started and Kai was there, Nikki's friends were there, Rebekah, Freya, Kol and Davina were there. They started singing happy birthday and Nikki saw someone run past the window. Nikki pushed past everyone and ran outside and Aurora followed her.
"I saw him. He's gone now though"
Nikki said annoyed. They walked back inside and Nikki ran over and hugged then kissed Kai. Kai gave Nikki a little gift which was a necklace. Nikki put the necklace on and smiled at Kai.
"Thank you Kai"
Nikki said with a smile
"You deserve the best Nikki. You're welcome"
Kai said as he hugged Nikki. Finally everyone left and Nikki went to her mother, father and Hayley's graves. She knelt down beside her mother's and said
"I miss you mom. I wish you could be here and celebrate with me"
Then Nikki turned around and smiled at her fathers grave
"I miss you too Dad. I know you didn't want to die and leave me and Hope but you did it for a reason"
Then Nikki went to Hayley's grave and smiled
"Hayley you were like a mother to me. I know you would have enjoyed celebrating this with me too"
Nikki then went back to the house.
