"One espresso, and one Vanilla Latte with extra cream."

As the waiter left, Shivaay turned to find Annika looking at him with a smile.

"You know my taste quite well now, eh?" She asked, a glint in her beautiful eyes. Shivaay grinned.

"Well, what can I say? You have me wrapped around your little finger," he replied with a wink.

They had decided to come out for coffee, after that heartfelt reconciliation at her house. Shivaay had practically pleaded with her to come, and although Annika wouldn't admit it, she hadn't needed much persuading in the first place. Spending time with Shivaay was her favorite thing to do, and it had been a few days since they had hung out, anyway, since she had been busy with the event. Not to mention, after last night's fight, they really needed a fresh start. So when Shivaay had proposed to come to a little coffee shop that had opened recently, all the nakhre Annika had shown had been fake. He was, after all, her boyfriend, and dealing with her tantrums came with the deal.

"So, what's up?" He asked her. The cafe was outdoors and the sun was just setting, casting an orange-ish glow on Shivaay.

He looks even more handsome, if that's possible, Annika thought, admiring her man.

"Earth to Annika?" Shivaay waved a hand in front of her eyes, and Annika was startled out of her thoughts. She gave him a sheepish smile.

"Where are you lost?" He asked, one eyebrow raised quirkily. He was sporting a subtle smirk too.

"No where," Annika replied hastily. "Where will I be lost? Anyway, back to your question-"

Shivaay interrupted her with a laugh.

"Oh come on, babe. It's okay to admit you were checking  me out- after all, I'm your boyfriend."

Annika was about to retaliate, and call him out on his eccentric assumptions, when their coffee arrived. Thanking the waiter with a radiant smile, she turned to Shivaay with a scowl again when the waiter had left.

"I was not checking you out, FYI," She said, eyes narrowed in attitude. "Huh, as if. I've met so many men more handsome than you-"

"Excuse me?" Shivaay almost shouted, outraged. Annika had to bite the inside of her cheeks to keep a straight face, and not laugh at his beyond-cute, jealous avatar. Gosh, it was so much fun to mess with this Cat!

"What men, huh? You don't find anyone more handsome than me." He said decidedly, on her behalf. Annika raised her eyebrows at that.

"And since when do you think you're able to read my mind? I do think a lot of men are more handsome than you. Hrittik, for example..."

"And who is Hrittik?" Shivaay asked, almost jumping out of his chair.

"Hrittik Roshan!" Annika replied, making a flamboyant gesture indicating it was obvious. "He is just so dreamy..." She trailed off with a hazed look in her eyes, driving Shivaay to a point where he wanted to pull his own hair in frustration.

"Hrittik Roshan isn't all that good looking, okay? Besides, my eyes are much nicer than his."

Annika snorted.

"Or so you'd like to make yourself believe," She said calmly, taking a sip of her delicious Latte. Taking a deep breath, Shivaay gulped down his own coffee. He knew, deep down, that this woman was just messing with him, trying to get a reaction. But no matter how hard he tried not to fall for it each time, his insecurities got the better of him everytime.

If anyone heard that Shivaay Singh Oberoi, with all his wealth and Greek God features, got insecure too, they would just laugh and move on with life. But alas, this one particular woman had the knack of making him feel all things alien. It agitated him, but you wouldn't find him wishing for anything otherwise. But noticing the smirk on her face that she was trying to hide oh-so-subtly behind the straw she was sipping from, Shivaay decided to give it back to her for once.

"But I know what you mean," he said, trying to keep his face passive, even as her mouth twisted in confusion, "some people in Bollywood are truly beautiful. Deepika, for example-"

"Deepika?" Annika perked up, mirroring his stance from before and fuming in anger. Shivaay smiled inwardly- his Junglee Billi had emerged.

"Yeah, she's hot," he said with an innocent shrug. "There's also Katrina, Alia-"

"Okay, stop," Annika ordered, raising her palm to make him stop. "I know you're trying to irk me, you baggad billa. But get this in your head," she said, wagging her index finger at him, "don't you dare call any other girl 'beautiful' or 'hot' other than me, okay? Ever!"

When she was done, she was met by a khidkitod smile from Shivaay's part. He seemed to be glowing, that man, and embarrassed by her outburst, Annika lowered her hand and moved to nonchalantly drinking her coffee.

"This is the first time I've seen you acting jealous," he remarked, and Annika blushed hard.

"I'm not jealous," she shrugged. "It's just not nice to talk about other women in front of your girlfriend. I'm only teaching you some basic manners."

Laughing at her weird excuse, Shivaay shook his head. She was a crazy one, his girl.

"And it's okay to call other men handsome in front of your boyfriend?" He asked, smiling still. "Don't you remember Gandhiji's words? Be the change you wish to see in the world, Annika."

Staring at each other for a moment, they both burst into laughter. Their 'make the other jealous' game was useless, and they both knew it.

"You should stop with these attempts, Annika," Shivaay voiced out when they had composed themselves. "I for a fact know that you find me extremely good-looking. Like, deliciously handsome."

Again, Annika tried not to notice how accurate his speculation was.

"Well, maybe I do" She replied casually. "If I didn't, I wouldn't make you my boyfriend, be it only pretend. After all, meri koi standard hai ki nahi! I have really good taste in men, I'll have you know."

Shivaay chuckled at her answer, and also felt a silly, proud feeling.

"Well, since you have admitted it, I should too- there's no one I find hotter than you," he said with a wink. Annika turned red in the cheeks at his blunt comment.

"Cheapda Baggad Billa," She muttered under her breath. "He can say 'pretty' or 'beautiful' too, but nahi! Inhe toh 'hot' ki parhi hai!"

"You say something?" Shivaay asked, brows furrowed. Annika shook her head quickly.

"Anyway," Shivaay continued, looking at her suspiciously, "Let's go back to my question that had started this whole 'drama'-" he said with an air quote, accompanied by a grin, "What's up? I was wondering, now that you're done with the event, what are you planning to do?"

That got Annika all excited, since she was very thrilled about starting off with her dream work for real.

"Okay so, now that the event is over, I can use the reference to start off with my very own company," She said, moving her hands in that cute way she does when she's excited. "So to start off, I need to do a lot of things. I need to find a small office, make business cards, promote my company, and what not. Gosh, it's all so exciting, isn't it!" She gushed. Shivaay smiled fondly at her. He loved seeing her so happy, and her passion for her work really intrigued him. Having been handed the Oberoi Industries when he had started off in business, Shivaay hadn't experienced first-hand how it felt to start from scratch, but he could tell it would be very difficult. However, he had full faith in his Annika. If anyone could do it, it was her.

"Have you thought of a name for your company yet?" He asked her, and her eyes lit up at that.

"I have! I've decided to name my company 'Dreamcatchers'." She said happily.

"Dreamcatchers?"

"Yeah. And you know what my tagline will be? 'We catch your dreams, and turn them into reality'. How's it?" She asked, eyes rounded in child like enthusiasm.

"Khidkitod," Shivaay replied. "It's really creative, Annika. By the way, have you thought of hiring any worker for now? I know you like working alone, but when handling big events, it's best to have people assist you."

Annika pondered over it for a while.

"Hmm, you're right. I'm thinking of hiring only one worker for now, sort of like a personal assistant. Then maybe after the Oberoi wedding I can hire more, after receiving the salary."

"Oberoi wedding?" Shivaay asked, confused. He hadn't been there to hear Dadi's announcement in the morning about Annika being the wedding planner for Abhay's wedding, so didn't know what she was referring to.

"Yeah, your cousin's wedding? What was his name- Abhay, I think."

"Wait, you're planning that wedding?" He asked, suddenly becoming very interested in the whole thing.

"Yeah," She shrugged. "Dadi asked me to, this morning. Don't you know?"

Shivaay shook his head. The stupid smile adorning his face was refusing to leave, since he knew how beneficial it would be for him to have Annika be the planner. One of them being, she would be in the Oberoi Mansion quite often.

"In fact," Annika started, "Tej uncle also said-" She stopped, blushing at the very idea of having to tell him that they would have to continue their pretense in front of all the relatives. She knew it would bring out the cheapda in him.

"Said what?" Shivaay asked, curious.

"Um, I'll let him tell you that," Annika said, her cheeks pink. "Anyway, so if the Oberoi Wedding goes all well, I'll have even more expertise to handle the company, not to mention more money to use in improving it! I'm so excited, Shivaay!"

"So am I, baby," Shivaay said, taking her hands in his over the table. He was so proud of her, and of the fact that he would be a part of this journey of hers, on the road to success. Annika smiled back, glad that this man was here with her, and for her.

"Oh, and also," Annika continued, "I need to talk to Om and ask if he can design my business cards for me. In fact, I should call him right now-"

"Om won't say no, Annika," Shivaay told her. "Why will he ever refuse his best friend? And you can talk to him about it later. Right now, just focus on me."

Annika giggled at the demanding, adorable expression he was giving her, and nodded. They ordered two more coffees, along with a cake for her, and fell into light conversation, talking about anything and everything. He told her about his initial days in the business, and how even with the company in a quite good position at that time, Bade Papa getting strayed away for a while had taken quite a toll on the business. Shivaay had had to work hard to make sure it did not suffer from a downfall, and his integrity in his work had indeed made Oberoi Industries reach new, greater heights.

"And now you're the top most company in the country!" Annika exclaimed, eyes beaming with pride. Shivaay blushed with modesty.

"Yeah well, no big deal," He said, embarrassed, while Annika laughed and pinched his cheeks.

It was almost dinner time when they came back to reality after having a dreamy time together, and although Shivaay insisted they have dinner together, Annika declined.

"I have a lot of work at home, Shivaay," She said apologetically as he dropped her home. "And I also want to make a portfolio of wedding themes that I can use in the future, so I need to get started on that. There's absolutely no time to waste. I hope you understand?" She asked him with a pout. Shivaay smiled, and leaned across his seat in the car to lightly peck her cheek.

"Of course, love. And you don't have apologize, okay? I'll see you soon."

Smiling gratefully, Annika gave him his customary goodbye kiss, and left. Shivaay sighed, elated that things were back to normal with her, before driving off- all the while wondering what exactly Bade Papa had mentioned to her...
