You rode home in silence but it wasn't as awkward as before. The tattoo on your leg still burned but not as much after your demon powers started working again. Instead of taking you home, Ciel told you to stay at the mansion for a day or two just in case.
When you reached the mansion, you hopped down and opened the door to the carriage before Sebastian did. Sebastian stood back and blinked as Ciel got out. Ciel started walking and Sebastian snapped out of his trance, hurrying to open the door before him. You chuckled and followed them inside.
Ciel walked to his room and stood outside the door. "Thank you for your help, (F/n)." He said, not smiling. You bowed. "You are most welcome. Sebastian chuckled from behind you. "You may take one of the guest rooms for the time being. And since you are staying here, you will help Sebastian and the others in the morning. Good night." As soon as Ciel turned around, you kicked Sebastian in the shin. Ciel turned around but you looked as though you hadn't moved. Ciel glared at you both and then closed the door. You bolted down the hallway before Sebastian could get you and you ran into one of the guest rooms, locking the door, knowing that wouldn't keep him out.
You laid down on your bed and looked at your new tattoo. 'This must mean something... There's no way that this was just a coincidence...' A picture flashed in your eyes of the tattoo on the inside of someone's wrist. You groaned and rolled over onto your stomach, pressing your face into your pillow. 'He couldn't have been the one... He's just a human...' You laid awake all night because you didn't need any sleep.

The next day, Sebastian came in to get you. "It is time to get up." You stood up, glad to finally be able to get up. "What's first?" You asked, stretching. Sebastian smiled. "Your job is to make sure that none of the other servants get into trouble." You saluted him. "Yes, sir." You followed him to the laundry room where a girl was filling the washer with clothes. "This is Mei Rin. Please help her and then follow her to help the others. I shall be back later." He said, exiting the room. "Hi." You said to the girl. She smiled back, almost dumping the whole box of soap in. You quickly catch it. "Whoa! You don't wanna pour the whole thing in!" You said, grabbing the measuring cup. "O-Oh... I thought that's what the box said." You measured the soap, poured it in, and started the washer. "Th-Thank you!" She said, putting the soap away. "May I see your glasses?" You said, holding your hand out. "S-Sure..." She handed you her glasses and you looked through them. 'Nobody could see through these things...' You wiped them off and, using your demon powers, fix her glasses so that she could see out of them. She put them back on and grinned. "Wow! This is so much better! Thank you! I guess they were just dirty!" You smiled. "It was nothing. Just remember to clean them often." She nodded. "Let's go see if Finny needs any help!" She said, grabbing your hand and pulling you behind her. 'If this happens on a regular basis, how the heck is this mansion still standing?!'
