The Darkness Inside: Two Days
The ache was horrible, complete agony. If you could imagine a hammer hitting your skull, each impact breaking in slowly, painfully, then you could feel the pain these two felt. A cry escapes Jack his whole body jerking and his head going down into his hands quickly. Mark looks over to his friend, honestly caring more about Jack's pain than his own. Mark tries to push through and reach for Jack wanting to help him before the pain abruptly stops. Mark sits up confused as to why Dark had just disappeared. He soon shakes his head brushing it off for now and looks to Jack, who's head sat in his hands, his groans of pains had stopped and he now just breathed heavily.
"Jack are you alright"
Mark asks reaching over and placing a hand on the green haired man's back, feeling his sharp breaths, in and out, in and out. Jack lifts his head, his hands pushing his green hair back as he does so, and he looks at Mark, a small smirk on his lips, and his eyes, now mismatched full of mischief.
"He's not doing so well, but me? i'm doing just great"
Anti says in almost a purr, a bit of a growl mixed in with it barely noticeable. Mark pulls his hand away almost instantly and glares a bit at Anti without a response. Anti tilts his head at Mark, his smirk growing into an amused smile.
"aw Mark... didn't you miss me? don't you want to know where I've been? what Dark and I have been up to? why i'm here now?"
Anti says listing the questions that had been going through Mark's mind. Mark still glares, his fists clenching as he resists the urge to begin beating this man down, it was still Jack's body, and Mark couldn't hurt him.
"I don't care."
Mark says through clenched teeth, clearly angry.
"But since your here, we need to talk"
Mark finally says, though he really didn't wish to talk to this monster that sat in front of him. Anti smiles a bit more, his sharpened teeth now exposed and his mismatched eyes staring into Mark's deep brown ones.
"Talk about what? Finally going to admit your feelings, Mark?"
Anti says smiling even more when Mark's stone faced expression seemed to break for a moment before hardening again into a glare.
"You know that's not it...."
Mark says in a soft growl his hands clenched at his sides.
"What would you say to.... working alongside Jack... both of you living together in that body."
Mark says a slight hesitation to his voice as he once again hates this idea, but is frankly running out of options. Just like last time this was suggested Anti does seem to contemplate it, his eyes softening for a moment as he thought of how it could be before his gaze turns dark, his eyes glaring into Mark's and looking menacing, making Mark back away slightly.
"Together? Together!? do you really think i'll fall for that Mark! Sean will just push me back again, he won't ever let me out!"
Anti yells his voice booming across the room darkly, he leans forward slightly staring into Mark's eyes as shadows cast around his face, not making him any less threatening.
"Besides Sean, just like you, needs to know what it feels like, to be forgotten, to be denied! he's had such a perfect little life and where have I been!? In the dark"
Anti says his voice growing softer and turning into a growl. Mark looks at the man, his eyes a bit wide, a bit fearful of the being in front of him.
"Anti... I'm sorry but Jack had good reason to-"
Mark begins before being cut off by Anti grabbing his shirt and pulling him forward so their faces merely inches apart, Anti's eyes burn with anger, full on rage, yet his voice sounded strangely calm.
"Good reason? there was no good reason, he just didn't understand me, just like you don't. Dark on the other hand does, he accepts me, and I accept him, that's why we need you two idiots out of the way, so we can live on. We will just get rid of whomever stands in our way."
Anti says quietly, his voice eerily calm compared to his clear rage which shined in his eyes. Mark gulps looking into Anti's eyes, his own fearing the crazed look of the man in front of him. He was insane, a psychopath, they had to find a way to get rid of them.
Anti smiles slightly, the smile only making him look creepier, the look on Mark's face had given away his thoughts, clear as day to Anti.
"Poor Mark, you still think you are going to get rid of us? Well you'd better hurry up and figure it out, you're running out of time"
Anti says in an ominous way, his voice sending chills down Mark's spine. Mark gulps and looks at Anti, his fearful brown eyes staring straight into his dark mismatched ones.
"so... so there is a way...."
Mark says quietly realizing what Anti had just said. The green haired man releases his shirt by pushing him away a bit, a chuckle escaping him.
"I thought you and Sean already knew that, of course there is, but you'll never find it."
As Anti says this Mark's fearful gaze hardens into a glare, his eyes filled with determination to get rid of him, to get rid of Dark.
"we're going to do it. We will get rid of you"
Mark says seeming to sit taller as he does. This only makes Anti laugh as he tilts his head at Mark.
"You know what, fine, I'll give you two days Mark. Two days without me, and without Dark. Besides i'm sure you would like to spend time with Sean before your ultimate demise."
Anti says, this whole thing simply seeming like a game to him.
"Good luck.... Markimoo"
With that Jack's body jerks suddenly, his eyes seeming to roll back into his head as he falls to the floor with a thud. His body soon rolls over onto his back with a groan, his eyes open slowly, and his blue eyes meet Mark's.
"Mark.... what happened?"
