The Darkness Inside: Be Gone

"Get out of him!"

Mark roars, his voice strained as his eyes flash red every so often. Dark fighting to take control, but Mark refused to let him, he refused to let them win.

"Or what?"

Anti says a cocky undertone to his voice as he looks at the man pinning him.

"You're going to hurt me? Your best friend? your love"

Anti finishes, the last word bringing a smirk to his lips.

"You don't have the strength to hurt me. I'm still Sean, just the darkness hidden inside him"

Almost as soon as Anti says this Mark slams him against the wall again out of anger, the thud echoing around the room and making Anti wince. Mark looks into his Mismatched eyes, his own still flashing red occasionally.

"I may not be strong enough to hurt you... but Sean can beat this... i know it"

Mark says quiety, his voice filled with belief. Anti's eyes flash back to Jacks for a single second before Anti laughs in the red haired mans face.

"You really think your little Irish friend can beat me? Its so much easier to succumb to the darkness. Perhaps you should give it another try."

Anti says in a soft purr trying to coax Mark into letting his dark persona out again. Mark growls and glares even more, the red becoming less and less noticable.

"Shut up!"

Mark yells at Anti before taking a deep breath and switching to a quieter voice, gentler, speaking, not to Anti but hoping Jack could hear it. somewhere in there.

"Jack... I know you're strong. You can beat this. Just come back to me... please"

Mark says quietly almost beginning to beg. This only makes Anti smile more, though the smile looked a bit strained, a bit forced.

"Nice try Mark, but i'm here to stay"

Anti says before trying to pull away from Mark's tight grip to no avail. Mark ignores him and keep talking.

"Jack... I'm lost without you, please... Come back, you're the strongest person i know. I believe in you"

Marks says even quieter making Anti's smile drop slightly as his one green eye begins getting a slight blue hue to it. Anti groans and tries even harder to pull away, his eyes clenching shut, and the blue beginning to take over the green eye. In a moment he stops struggling and his eyes flutter open, turning to look into Mark's brown eyes, his own now their natural blue. A small green could be seen in one but barley noticable.

"Mark..."

Jack says his voice strained as he struggles to keep Anti down.

"Jack. You're ok..."

Mark says quietly seeming relieved and pulling the irish man into a hug, Jack hugs back for only a moment before pulling away and grabbing his head, with a small cry of pain.

"M-Mark... i can't keep him back, I'm not strong enough."

Jack says in a pained voice looking up at Mark, his eyes showing how much pain he was in as his one iris seems a bit more green. Mark looks at him and grabs him gently bringing him to sit on the bed as he still clutches his head, his hands entangling in his green hair.

"We need to get rid of them..."

Mark says quietly to himself thinking a bit and watching his dear friend writhing in anguish, his eyes full of sadness at his pain.

You can't get rid of us Mark. I'm a part of you, just like Anti is a part of Sean. So long as you guys are in this world. So are we.

The dark voice says in Mark's head, a bit of cockiness buried in it. Mark ignores the voice but knows its right, there was no way to get rid of them... or... was there?
