"Come on just pay us the money you owe us and I'll leave you alone," I stared at the young man who was trying to get what his leader asked for.

"I can't believe Simon would send a newbie like you to get something from me," I smirked picking a rose from the bush nearby," You see this rose," I watched as it turned from a beautiful red to a much better shade of black," It will soon have the same faith as you if you don't leave,"

He just looked at me In shock before he pulled out a gun aiming it at me taking a shot but missing very badly.

"Just remember you took the first shot," I smiled as the dark cloud grew swallowing him.

I walked over to the nonbreathing man placing a note in his coat throwing the flower onto his body.

I wasn't in a mood for ending a life but you shot first. Simon the money never belonged to you in the first place. I have my own adventures to carry out.

Where. Where would he be. I couldn't track him down in America. Missed him in Switzerland but know I'm far in front of him. It said that he was soon to be here something was to bring him to this country.

"May I sit here?" I looked up to see the girl from the bar earlier Raven," Earth to Maura," she said waving her hand in front of my face.

"What did you ask?"

"I asked if I could sit with you. You're at a table for three and there aren't any seats left. I could leave as I see you were doing some research may I ask on?" I looked around the room seeing what she was saying was, in fact, the truth.

"Yes, you may sit. I was just doing some research on Botany and Phycology,"

"Botany what exactly is Botany?" Raven asked taking a seat.

"Botany its a study of the science of plant life and a branch of biology,"

"So you fancy plants," she started laughing.

"Why are you laughing?" I asked interested in the sudden mood change.

"I just don't see a girl like you interested in something like that and the fact that you sat down at the only table without a centerpiece. What do you think about this," She said walking over to a nearby table picking up a white sunflower and bring it over to me. Putting the flower into the side of my hair.

"A Helianthussun a very common pick but I don't get why you took it,"

"Th-the flower you-you turned it black. You're no Homo sapien. You're a mutant!" Raven almost shouted but I got up placing a hand on her mouth. Why did I let her sit near me.

"How about we have a little talk," I said taking my hand off her mouth so no one would look at us weirdly. I quickly packed up my notes and stuff and pulled Raven into the elevator up to my room.

"Listen I know you are no Homo sapien either and if I were you I won't go around the place shouting what we are," I hissed at Raven I looked over at her she was simply looking at an object on my table.

"Why do you have a toy gun laying around the place?" She asked playing with the weapon pointing it at me,"

"It's not a," I tried to say before she shot the gun. The bullet just missing me going trough the door.

"There you are," A guy in a black suit said as he burst through my window pointing his gun to Ravens head pulling the gun from her hands," Just tell us where your stash is and this girl lives,"

I could see the fear in Ravens eyes as she turned blue. Her true form.

"She's one of you just help a guy out," He pleaded standing away from her but still managing to keep a grip on her.

"You see I could kill you shoot you but Raven had my gun. You took the gun. Raven shoot that gun earlier. That leaves 12 seconds till the cops get here cause I'm pretty sure you didn't find me on your first try," I smiled as Raven turned back to normal.

"I will shot her," He said putting his finger on the trigger.

"10 seconds,"

"All you have to do is answer the question," He pleaded.

"Step away from the girl and put your hands where I can see them," The police said as they held they busted into the door holding the 'noob' at gun point.

"Your under arrest for holding these two ladies at gunpoint, breaking and entering into this hotel and killing 2 people," The officer said putting the noobs hands behind his back cuffing him.

"Thank you officer my friend and I are thankful for what you have done for us," I told the officer as he handed off the newbie to one of his men.

"Your welcome now I would like you ladies to tell the officer over there about what happened," He told us.

"Charles?" Raven asked.

"I'm sure your brother is fine. I should take her to her brother thank you again," I said leaving the hotel room pulling Raven along.  

"And that is how you get rid of someone without lifting a finger," I said.

Raven looked at me shocked petrified more to say. I waited to see what the girl had to say.

"That was awesome," Raven squealed. I was shocked by the girl's reaction but hey she didn't see a dead body today,"You have to teach me how to do that, "

"I think your brother will be very displeased with you and I if I teach you my ways,"

"What exactly is your gift?" She asked?

"I don't talk about that," I stated.

"Excuse me, ladies? You can't leave until we take your statements," The officer called to us.

There goes my last weapon. I thought that would have lasted awhile longer. I don't even know if I should get rid of Raven maybe she'll come in handy in the future.
I laid on my bed in my new room. I will find you.

Heat. That's all I feel, all I see. The warmness, it's how do I say. Comforting but it burns, it hurts. I can-n cann-n't move. I can never leave. My skin is turning a dark ashy colour as the little tears I had shed. I'm trapped her forever. The smell of smoke filling my lungs. The lack of oxygen getting to my body but the smile on my face didn't want to leave. I can leave this world. The bright flames surrounding me. The soothing screams coming through my mouth. It's a sign, isn't it? I'm burning from the inside out.

"Maura!" Someone screamed tackling the person who awoke me from my sleep. Holding the closest sharp object to his neck which was a knife I had under my bed. I blinked the sleep away to see a frighten Charlie? I think is name was underneath me.

"What are you doing in my room!" I yelled.

"You were having a nightmare so I woke you up," He said not moving an inch so I would not cut him.
