Chapter 6: The Plan

Luna's POV

I yawned leaning over the piece of parchment. My pen hadn't touched the paper in almost in hour. Ivan came into the room. "Your still up?" He asked. "3 days remember?" I told him. "Right so what do you have so far?" He asked. "Not much, just-" I yawned again. "Are you sure you don't want to go to bed? I could take over from here" Ivan suggested. "No I'm good, I ca-" "Your yawning again" Ivan said. "Thanks for stating the obvious.. All I have is getting to Ninjago City" "Why Ninjago City?" Ivan asked. "Lloyd said that he thought his friends were in a city that was already taken over by darkness. Then Nya told us that she last saw them in Ninjago City. We might as well start there..." I stated. "So we get to Ninjago City. Alright then what?" Ivan asked. "Haven't gotten there yet" I said. "It's going to be a long night isn't it?" Ivan asked. After 3 hours of figuring out the plan, Ivan and I decided to get some sleep. I closed my eyes and the next thing I knew, It was time to get up. "I feel like I just went to sleep. What time is it?" I asked. "6:30" Nya tells me. "Alright, TO Ninjago City!" I say lifting my head up. 

Third Person POV

A loud noise startled Kai, waking him up. He was in an underground passage. It was dimly lit and had a hole in the roof. He noticed the darkness ring and thoughts began to flow into his head. Why am I not infected with darkness? Maybe the passage is magic? He shook the thoughts away and tried to focus on finding a way out. "Hello?" He called out. No answer. Perfect. Now let's see if I can escape. Kai focused and tried to use Airjitzu, but failed. "Okay so i cant use Airjitzu" he said talking to himself. I can't summon my dragon, that'd make too much noise. He sat down trying to think. But for now, he was stumped.

Ivan's POV

We had landed on the bounty. "Alright now here's the part I still don't understand" Lloyd said. Luna sighed, she had worked on THIS part of the plan the most. "Were going to ride your elemental dragon into the darkness ring" She said sighing. "Wont we be affected be the darkness?" Nya asked. "I thought about that" I said cutting in. "If Lloyd's dragon blasts a whole through the ring, that'll give us enough time to pass through the gap" I said. "I'm still not sure about this. But we have to try" Nya said. Lloyd nodded and stepped towards the edge of the bounty and summoned his elemental dragon. We all hopped on. "Here goes nothing!" Luna chimed. The Dragon dived down. It blasted green energy, creating a gap in the darkness ring. We passed through quickly, just as the gap closed. I started to feel a little light-headed. Whispers began talking as if they knew we where here. They don't need you. Turn back now. You were never needed and you never will be...My vision came to focus. "Watch out!" I yelled. Lloyd turned the dragon avoiding the fortress just in time. "Whats going on. I'm not feeling so good" Lloyd claimed. "It's the darkness. It's slowly affecting us" I said. Luna slumped forward. I quickly picked her up so she didn't fall off the dragon. "There's the fortress....Wh-" The Dragon dove down. "What's going on?" I asked, making sure Nya didn't fall off as well. Lloyd slumped forward as well. Great.... I thought. The Dragon dissolved causing all of us to fall. Join your friends...they've already seen what happens. The whispers continued. We landed on the ground. I did a quick head count. Everyone was still here. "Well, Glad you could join us" I quickly turned around to see Either Rage or Hatred. "Are you Hatred?" I asked trying to buy some time. "I'M RAGE" He said loudly. He moved closer. "Oh, well that's my bad so if you'll just let us lea-" I stopped talking when I noticed he was glaring at my friends behind me. He laughed. "Well, BYE" I quickly grabbed whoever was close to me and took off. I ran into a building and hid. I had grabbed Lloyd. "Come on dude wake up!" I whispered shaking him. He groaned. "Please! Come on!" I sighed being unsuccessful and peeked out of ten building. Rage was now with the other one. "Hatred" I whispered. I tiptoed out of the building and hid behind a car. It was on fire which I guess was cool, but I needed to focus. I bent down and grabbed some rocks. I peeked up above the car and threw the rocks.
I didn't have time to see if they hit. I quickly walked into the building closest to the car. I peeked out of a broken window, and saw Hatred and Rage floating by. I quietly crawled out of the window. Leave them, protect yourself. What have they ever done for you? The whispers got worse. I tried to focus. I was almost to Nya now. I quickly picked her up and ran back to the building and tried to wake her up. Leave them....I snuck out of the building once more. My vision blurred and my knees buckled. I fell to the ground. You were never one of them...

Kai's POV

I was still trying to think of a way out of this passage when I heard voices. I looked up through the hole in the roof. 4 guards appeared to be passing. "This'll work" He dropped someone into the room. The guards continued walking. It was a girl, with brown hair. She wore a purple T-shirt and jeans. She groaned and opened her eyes. "What? Who are you?" She asked. "I'm Kai. Who are you?" I said. "Luna. How did I get here?" She asked. "Well a guard just threw you in here I don't know the rest of the story" I said. We sat in silence until she decided to break it. "So how long have you been down here?" She asked. "um, I'm not sure" I said. "Well maybe we can find a way to get out of here" She suggested. "Alright. Now let's see" I said standing up to observe the passage once more.
