Chapter 3: Hatred's Self-Doubt

Third Person POV

Hatred couldn't believe what he had done. This wasn't what he intended to happen. He just wanted a little payback, and now he was Rage's Puppet. He floated towards what would soon be Rage's Fortress. "M-master H-Hatred?" Hatred ignored this, He didn't appreciate being called Master. "I just wanted a little payback! Not this!" Hatred recalled the argument, he and his brother had, before building this fort. "Don't you see! This is just what Ninjago wanted! A king! A controller! POWER!" Rage screamed. "NO! YOU JUST WANT THE POWER, AND TO BE KING AND CONTROL EVERYONE INCLUDING ME!" Hatred shot back. "You MORON!" Rage said smacking Hatred upside the head. "This is what Mom and Dad would have wanted" Rage's sudden outburst surprised Hatred, that he couldn't even respond. "That's what I thought" Rage said smiling; knowing he had won. Rage turned around leaving his brother wondering. Hatred sighed, wondering what would happen to the flying ship and it's remaining passengers.

The Bounty shook once more, waking Lloyd up. Lloyd sat up and yawned, having not remembered what had happened in the few hours. He stood up and walked to the kitchen. "Hello?" He called out. "Guys? Whe-Oh right" Lloyd shook his head in disappointment knowing he hadn't gotten any further in the mission he had set. He ran to the training deck. "Nya? Sensei Wu? Where are you?" The wind blew forcefully as if it were playing a tug-o-war game and the bounty was it's rope. Lloyd sighed and summoned his elemental dragon; he flew off, leaving the bounty behind. Lloyd began his search in the far corners of Ninjago that hadn't quite yet, been affected by the darkness, Rage and Hatred directed across Ninjago. "I'm getting no where!" Lloyd said in frustration. Lloyd had searched many city's and towns, only hoping that his friends were hiding in their making a plan to stop Rage and Hatred; only was it when the sun dipped down, that Lloyd realized they were probably in a town that had been affected by darkness.
