Chapter 1

RM's POV

I walked along the path in the forest near the village. It's a beautiful day. I  thought. I suddenly fell over something.

"Owww!" I said, look behind me to see a  wooden box with a note attach on it. I pick the note up.

Dear RM Diamondcut,

We choose you to fight against the Darkness. There will be a map not far from the box. You must travel to the location, but beware of the minions, as they'll try to prevent you from reaching it.

We know of your secret, RM.

Do you accept?

I flipped the page around, nothing on this side. I pick up the box, which turns out to be a cube. Then I found the map, grab it and other items from my house and went off.

"Bye..." I whisper to the wind.

Carlos' POV

I'm in a tree, relaxing. So peaceful...

Then a stick broke somewhere below me. I hear someone breathing heavily.

"Hello?" I call out.

"Who's there?!" A female voice ring out.

"My name is Carlos. I'm in a tree, hold on..."

I climbed down, revealing myself to the girl. She's wearing a galaxy-style hoodie, a graphic shirt underneath, jeans and black boots.

"Sorry to scare you. What's your name?"

She twirls a lock of her white blonde hair. "My name?"

"Yep." I say.

"Okay... It's RM."

"Cool, what does it stands for?"

"I... I rather not say..." She whispers.

"That's cool. It's your business. Where are you going? You seem to be in a hurry."

Silence fall between us. I scratch the back of my orange haired head.

"Um..." RM starts. "Did you get a note and a map?"

"Yeah," I reply, pulling out a map and a note out of my pocket. "Does it looks like this?"

"Yes! You're one of the chosen ones?"

"I guess you're also one of them as well. Should we go?"

"Let's go, Carlos." She says, pulling me along. "We should get there before dark."

"Okay then, RM."

We walk along, heading to the location.
