You and the others walked out of the airship that had just landed at its destination...

" I wonder why we had to take an airship here? " You thought as you watch a dude wearing bits of armor over a hoodie run over to the nearest trash can and start to puke his guts out.

Lorena: Uh... is he ok?

She asked with a hint of concern as he has been puking non-stop ever since the airship took off and You, Yang, and Ruby just kinda shrugged.

(Y/N): I'm sure he'll be fine, he will probably bounce back from this.

You state as the poor boy starts to puke once more making Lorena sigh "Let's hope he can make it out alive... " He mentally said knowing about Ozpin's Initiation trail and Ruby started to talk to Yang while you and Lorena went towards the school and something immediately catches your eye, There was a statue resembling your father as well as two others in a triangle formation, One of the statutes had a sword and shield and armor befitting of a knight, but the other statue had a rifle as well as some old military garb, as for the statue resembling your father it had a longsword and what appears to be floating orbs in his other hand.

Lorena: What's wrong?

She asked with a look of concern on her face as you had a look of shock on your face.

(Y/N): That statue in the middle looks like my father.

You state wondering what your father did to earn himself a statue in his honor, however, what Lorena said next surprised you even more.

Lorena: Oh yeah! I didn't notice at first, your old man does look like King Auther.

You looked at her with a slightly confused look as you hadn't heard of this King Auther person, but before you could say anything a Coyote girl with what looks like a bow that can turn into a staff paired with arrows that were infused with dust strapped onto her back waltzed over and began to speak.

???: The Three Holy Knights, bound in stone forever to keep their vigil until another soul offers to take their place and takes the Oath to pledge there lives to defend us, mear mortals, from the forces of Dark and Light, it is said that only a rare few can hear there voice and even few can muster the courage to offer themselves to the Holy Knights Oath...

She pauses to look at the both of you who looked extremely confused as to why she had a speech about some Holy Knight dudes at the ready for this odd occasion.

Natalie: Well that's what the legends say, My name is Natalie, What're your names?

She asked as if she hadn't just told you about an old fairy which was totally unprompted.

(Y/N): U-uh... My name (Y/N) and this is Lorena.

Lorena gave Natalie a bit of a friendly wave.

Lorena: Hi... It's nice to meet you, Natalie...

Her words were lined with a certain concern which has only been growing ever since she arrived at the airship as there were some... Colorful people, she had seen after boarding, but that made her even more thankful you were here as she knew that you'd defend her from any people that took offense for simply being a Beast Kin.

Natalie: It's nice to meet both of you! And sorry about the random speech, I just really like Fairy tales and the Three Holy Knights are one of the stories I grew up with.

She stated as the three of you began to walk past the statues towards school, however, you took a mental note about the tale specifically that the Holy Knights had to defend something from not only the forces of Darkness but the forces of Light as well " Why would they have to defend against the forces of Light? " You thought.

(Y/N): It's fine, it's good to learn about something you didn't know.

Chibi A/N: Oh god not this shit again!

You said as you entered the school and see a sea of people who were talking to each other to pass the time.

Natalie: Well it seems we've arrived here a bit early, do either of you have a few fiery tales to tell by any chance?

She asked as she was slightly curious if there are any stories that either of you knew and to see if she can learn some new ones as well and you looked to Lorena as she's the one who reads the most and she rolled her eyes.

Lorena: I may know a few...

Meanwhile...

Chibi Yang: Wait why are we-?

Chibi A/N: First why the fuck is "It's Fine" here!?

A/N: Well, it's a running theme that the Reader says that.

Chibi A/N: But why!?

A/N: Because it's not that big of a deal for him.

Chibi A/N: *Sigh*

Chibi Yang: You guys done?

Chibi A/N and A/N: Yes!

Chibi Yang: Good, now why are we cutting to a different scene!?

A/N: Oh that's simple... The Villians need the spotlight for a moment.

Chibi Ruby: Which ones? The Poachers? White Fang? Both?

A/N: You'll see, Let's get back to the story.

Deep in the forest, the is a group of White Fang members running for their lives as the entire squadron was wiped out by something they awoken by mistake.

WF Goon 1: Why the hell did we even come here!?

Asked the terrified bull Faunus as he jumped over a rock while the other goon leaped from tree to tree using his cat-like agility.

WF Goon 2: You're asking me!? I was just told to come here and make sure no one messes with the operation!

After the goon answered his college's question a large bolder made of pure marble was hurled towards the cat-like goon with pinpoint accuracy which the goon with horns noticed.

WF Goon 1: WATCH O-

*Crush!*

The cat-like goon was crushed into a fine paste as the Bull-like goon continued to run with a look of terror on his face, but he could tell that whatever it is that was chasing him was faster then he was as the trees he had to dodge didn't faze the creature as it simply smashed through the trees causing the local wildlife to flee the area even the Beowolfs were running from the thing that was chasing him " Crap Crap Crap! " As he thought this he looked over his shoulder and saw a giant stone hand made of what looks like marble grabbed the hood of his uniform and easily lifted him up high into the air.

???: Finally caught one of you.

The monster stated which shocked the Goon as it didn't talk when it was slaughtering his brothers and sisters in cold blood and when the monster turns him around he saw something he did not expect... The monster had a male human face and body relatively speaking, but it was massive and stood ten feet tall, it also had a strange beauty that made it somewhat unnerving to look at like one would look at a doll that looked too human and it had pale almost pure white skin and golden hair as well as golden eyes, it was also wearing some old robe like coth around its waste as its upper body was too massive to fit it.

WF Goon 1: What the hell are you!?

The monster narrowed its eyes into a judgemental gaze as if it were contemplating about crushing a bug.

???: I will be asking the questions mortal, now what year is it?

It asked in a menacing tone and the Goon could clearly see that the monster's patience is growing thin making him panic.

WF Goon 1: U-uh, 2378 R.D!

He said in a panicked tone of voice and the monster then threw him against the tree with so much force that the Bull-like goon spine snapped like a twig and the shock alone instantly killed the unfortunate goon.

???: Thank you.

The monster then began to walk towards an old ruin leaving the carnage behind for someone to find.

Elsewhere

Chibi Ruby: THAT WAS TO SHORT!!!

A/N: Look, I didn't say I was going to write an essay as to why he is here just yet!

Chibi Yang: It's still not much to go off of! I mean seriously what are we supposed to get from that?

Chibi Blake: I know what old ruins he's talking about.

Chibi Weiss: You do- Oh... Oh, this isn't good.

Lorena: And that is why the chicken crossed the road.

Both you and Natalie looked at each other with raised eyebrows as Lorena tried to make an age-old joke sound like a story.

(Y/N): U-um did you-?

Before you could continue Lorena cut you off while having an... Innocent-looking smile.

Lorena: Continue that sentence and you'll have to drink food through a straw.

She said in a slightly passive-aggressive tone even though she clearly made a threat " Geez... She's a bit terrifying... " Natalie though as you just let out a slight chuckle and rubbed the back of your head because you knew most of her threats were empty... Mostly.

(Y/N): Right... Say have you two heard the tale of the two wolfs.

They both tilt their heads in confusion as they haven't heard of that one before.

Natalie: I can't say I have, no.

She said with a hint of curiosity in her voice and you let out a bit of a chuckle.

(Y/N): Well this story starts with these two starving wolves, One of these wolves is kind and just while the other wolf is cold and cruel, they're fighting for the right to calm territory that could change their lives forever.

After you said that Lorena looked a bit perplexed as it seems you hadn't finished the tale.

Lorena: Well which wolf wins?

She asks and a slight smile forms on your face as you were waiting for one of them to ask that very question.

(Y/N): The one you feed.

Both Lorena's and Natalie had a bit of a surprised look as neither of them heard that tale before, but before they could say anything you heard Ruby and Yang talk to another young girl with a haughty voice.

???: Yeah! And we can paint our nails and try on clothes and talk about cute boys like tall, dashing, and handsome over there.

" Oh, I hope she isn't talking about me if she is she might find one of Lorena's inventions in her bed while she's sleeping... " You thought as you turned to see something you did not expect to see... Weiss Schnee heiress to the Schnee Dust Company and she was pointing right at you.

Lorena's left eye began to twitch " She's on the list! " Lorena thought as Ruby let out a bit of an excited gasp.

Ruby: Wow! Really!?

She asked with an enthusiastic tone causing Weiss you give her a very judgemental glare of disapproval.

She coldly stated, however, before Ruby could even fell said the sound of someone clearing their throat in a microphone to get everyone's attention filled the room.

Ozpin: I'll keep this brief, You all traveled here today in search of knowledge, To hone your craft and acquire new skills, and when are finished you plan to dedicate your life to the protection of the people.

" Huh... That's odd... Why does he sound tired? " You mentally questioned yourself as you noticed that Ozpin didn't seem like himself today.

Ozpin: But I look amongst you see wasted energy in need of Purpose and Direction, you assume knowledge can free you of this, but your time in this school will prove that it can only carry you so far.

" Well, that's... A bit harsh. " You thought to yourself as both Lorena and Natalie seemed to have a look of confusion as they expected the speech to be... Uplifting and it seems that everyone else had the same feeling of confusion.

Ozpin: It is up to you to make the first step.

After he said that he just walk away from the microphone and everyone watched as Mis Goodwitch walked over to the microphone which a slightly embarrassed look on her face.

Glenda: You will gather at the ballroom tonight, Your initiation will begin Tomorrow so be ready, You are dismissed.

" Something is definitely wrong. " You thought before you watch Vomit Boy try to hit on Weiss which went as well as one could expect as Weiss basically rejected his advice by looking away with a slightly disgusted look.

Later that night

You leaning on a nearby wall while sitting on your sleeping bag and reading one of your favorite books while Lorena and Natalie were chatting " Huh, Things have been relatively quiet tonight... " You thought as you flip the page and continue reading... And as if on cue you someone randomly taps your nose.

???: Boop!

Whoever Booped you definitely caught you off guard as you did not expect someone to do that out of nowhere.

(Y/N): H-huh!?

You accidentally drop your book which bumped on your forehead and landed to the side and you saw a Gingered haired girl standing over you on your right side... And she still had her normal clothes on instead of her pajamas.

Her greeting sounded a bit loud as she tried to contain her energetic personality which she was clearly struggling to do as a young man who was laying down behind her lets out a sigh.

The girl known as Nori turned to what you assume to be her friend with a small smile on her face.

Nori: Oh come on Ren, We have to make friend's somehow!

" Well... She has the right idea, but her timing is way off. " You thought as the young man who was named Ren let out a quiet groin this time.

Ren: Why can't you do the when the sun is up?

He asks with a slightly groggy tone and you watched as you start to see a few people twist and turn in there sleeping bags, however, It probably wasn't just because Nora was being somewhat loud as you noticed both Ruby and Yang approach a girl wearing a Black bow on her head.

" Huh... It seems like Ruby and Yang are trying to make friends. " You thought while Nora got in your personal bubble without hesitation as she sat right next to you and leaned her head towards you to look at what you were reading... And you mentally sighed as you know what she's going to ask next.

Nora: Whatcha reading, Does it have pictures?

" It looks like Lorena's list is getting bigger by the minute... " You mentally stated to yourself as you let out an actual sigh while looking at Lorena who was giving Nora a death stare of sorts as Natalie looked at her with a bit of a confused look.

(Y/N): The story I'm reading is about a man without power charged to protect a growing tree from an insane demon that wishes its destruction, as for your second question I don't think it does.

You casually said while turning a page and begin to read about how the man grows as the tree grows and Nora raised her eyebrow as Ren never told her this story when she and him were growing up.

Nora: Who made it?

She asked somewhat curious as to who created such a tale and you noticed that Ren appeared to be fast asleep and everyone else was looking at Ruby, Yang, and the Ice Princess shouting at each other.

(Y/N): Don't know, the author was either never credited or he simply just wanted didn't want to get credit for some reason.

You stated as you began to wonder why someone wouldn't want credit for one of the most sold books in Remnant which also made you wonder how Nora or Ren missed this story.

Nora: That's weird, maybe there is some clue in there or something.

She said making the gears in your head turn yet again and you begin to flip through the pages " What is he doing? " Nora mentally questioned as you spot an odd pattern " Why is the first letter of every chapter always in cursive? " You thought as you begin to memorize each starting letter of each chapter and you managed to figure out what the words spell out.

(Y/N): Heckter? Who's Heckter?

You quietly said out loud and Nora shrugged.

Nora: I have no idea, I don't read very much...

She said while trying to figure out where she heard the name before while Lorena continued to stare at her, but instead of a murderous look she it was a look of suspicion " Is she flirting with him or just talking to him? " She mentally questioned as Nora didn't seem to make any attempts to flirt with you.

Natalie: Uh Lorena why are you constantly angry when other girls are around (Y/N)?

Lorena's cheeks slightly turn red after Natalie asked that question and she shyly looked down at her knees.

Lorena: U-uh I-I'm Just looking out for my f-friend!

Natalie furrowed her brow and gave Lorena one of those looks absolutely brimming with doubt.

Natalie: Right...

Lorena's blush grew as Natalie continued to stare at her and for a moment no one said a word until Lorena let out a sigh of defeat.

Lorena: Alright fine! I have a crush on him.

She stated in a begrudging tone and Natalie give her a slight smile.

Natalie: It's fine to have a crush on someone especially someone you know.

After stating this Lorena sighed once more as Nora started to warp up her chat with you and looked over to Natalie and Lorena before getting up without the other girls noticing.

Lorena: Yeah but it's... I don't know how to describe it... I just have a hard time working up the courage to ask him out, but it's not just that... I'm kinda scared if he rejects me and starts to distance himself from me.

As she said this Nora began to walk over after hearing what Lorena said and sympathizing with her feelings as she was also in the same boat as Lorena.

Natalie: I doubt (Y/N) is the type of guy who would do that he seems like a very nice person... When he's not throwing knives into robbers' shins.

Before Lorena could react Nora did what she did best and barged into the conversation surprising both of them.

Nora: Or cracking some nuts!

Lorena's left eye began to twitch as Nata gave Nora a bit of a considered look.

Natalie: U-uh Hi? Who are you?

She asked as Lorena had a somewhat terrifying look in her eyes which Nora didn't notice at all as she had a smile on her face.

Nora: Nora! I may have overheard some of your conversation.

" Oh no... " Those words went through both yours and Natalie's head as both of you could feel the murderous urge from over her as did some of the other students as they began to slowly inch away from the three girls.

Lorena: What did you hear!?

The furious rat girl asked with a tone that practically outlines her mood right now and Nora still didn't get the hint as she still had a smile on her face.

Nora: Only that you liked a boy who you can't confess to due to the crippling fear that they might reject you...

Nora's voice began to change slightly as she began to have a mental break down.

Nora: And severing all ties leaving you all alone with the shattered remains of your hopes and dreams as you'll never get to see them again forever!

After she said that Lorena Rage turned into a look of complete surprise as Nora had caught her off guard with that... Episode.

Lorena: U-uh... Are you... Ok

" What just happened!? " Both you and Natalie thought as Nora sniffled a bit.

Nora: Yeah I'm fine I sometimes fall into a pit of despair for a moment when I start to think negative stuff like that.

She said calming herself down " Jeez... What type of anxiety does she have? " Lorena mentally questioned.

Natalie: I-I'm Natalie and this is Lorena, s-so what brings you to Beacon?

She asked snapping out of her confused daze as well as trying to change the subject.

Nora: Me and Ren wanted to become Hunters!

She answered without giving any sort of context... Even though she's technically correct.

Lorena: But why do you and your friend want to become Hunters?

After Lorena asked that Nora's smile slowly faded and a somewhat saddened air began to form around her as she began to recall her past.

Nora: I rather not talk about my past... It isn't really pleasant.

She said looking to the side and Natalie caught on to what she was implying rather quickly.

Natalie: It's ok you don't have to talk about it if you don't want to.

After she stated that Nora seemed to ease up a bit but she was still somewhat tense " Good... I don't want to relive that all over again... " Nora desperately wanted to put her thoughts into words but couldn't as that would raise both of the girl's curiosity.

Nora: Ok... So why did you and Lorena come to Beacon?

She asked trying to change the subject hoping that they didn't have as a traumatic past themselves and thankfully they didn't.

Natalie: Well I wanted to hear every tale Remnant has or at least hear most of it.

She answered simply although something seemed off about her answer that Lorena and Nora didn't notice as Lorena chimed in.

Lorena: And I wanted to travel the world to see what new inventions I can muster up along the way.

As they began to talk about what legends Natalie knows and what trinkets Lorena has crafted everyone failed to notice that Ren was still awake looking at a panda girl who was staring right at you " She doesn't feel right... " he thought as the night went on.

That Morning

Chibi A/N: Holy shit this is long!

Chibi Weiss: And it's taking forever!

A/N: Look I can't control what happens in life if I could earth would look a lot more different.

A/N: Well that and people that aren't complete asshats looking to ruin another person's day.

You gather your things out of your locker before glancing over and seeing that girl with the bow on her head staring at you while she was getting her gear out of her locker " Jeez if looks could kill I'd be long dead by now... " You thought as she started to walk over to you once she collected her gear.

You said with a hint of surprise in your voice as you didn't expect Bow Girl to just come up and talk to you.

Bow Girl: Your name is (Y/N), right?

She asked catching you off guard once again " Straight to point then... " you thought as Vomit Boy walked around with the tail tale look of someone who had lost which locker his gear is in... Despite his weapon being on his hip.

You stated calmy and you got a somewhat odd glare from her.

Blake: My names Blake, Ruby told me about you.

As she said this she examined you with a look of suspicion " His Aura feels... Off. " she mentally states as she recalls seeing your Aura's color being Gray when you were scanning the crowd of students last night, however now seems to be Red.

(Y/N): Y-yeah I actually met her last night when we had a... Run-in with a man with a cane.

After you said that you felt someone tap your shoulder which made your heart race a bit and Blake noticed your Aura changed once again this time it was Dark Green " Now that's interesting. " She thought as you instinctively turn around on a dime holding back the urge to punch whoever snuck up on you square in the face.

Vomit Boy: AH! I'M SORRY, PLEASE DON'T HURT ME!

The boy then stumbles and was about to fall but before he could accidentally punish using the floor for existing you grabbed the chest piece of his armor and practically hoisted him up.

(Y/N): First, please don't sneak up on me like that again, Second, what's your name? Third, Why are you as light as a toddler?

You said with so much of a blunt tone that Vomit Boy was both confused and scared at the same time.

Vomit Boy: W-w-what?

He said with a very noticeable stutter and you let out a sigh as Blake watched your Aura turn from Dark Green back to Red again " Huh... It seems like Red is his natural color. " Blake thought.

(Y/N): Ok, let's slow things down a bit, What is your name?

Once you said that In a much calmer tone the boy eased up a bit.

Jaune: Wait you're not going to- I-I mean, My name Jaune Arc... U-uh pleased to meet you... Um...

Blake rolled her eyes at the boy " This guy is starting to annoy me... " She mentally said as she began to contemplate about how your Aura changes on a dime without any adverse side effects.

(Y/N): (Y/N).

You said while Nora and Ren start to look for their lockers.

Jaune: O-oh! Your that guy from the news!

He shouted catching the attention of some of the other students and after he practically signaled your presence to the entire room " Well great so much for a low profile. " You mentally stated as you looked at him with a slightly annoyed look which caused Jaune to realize what he had done.

Jaune: Oh Uh... Sorry...

He said with an apologetic tone as he looked down at his shoes to avoid eye contact and you let out another sigh.

(Y/N): It's fine, besides the damage is already done.

After you said that Jaune looked to the side for a moment and saw the Ice Princess talking with a Red haired woman clad in some interesting looking armor.

Chibi A/N: *Sigh*

Jaune: OkcoolI'llseeyoulaterbye!

" What did he just say? " You mentally questioned as he swiftly speeded off towards the Ice Princess to try to woo her again, but before you could try and save the poor boy's dignity your scroll started to buzz, and you pull it out of your hoodie to see that Ozpin himself was calling you " Oh shit what did I do? " You mentally asked yourself as you take a deep breath and answer.

(Y/N): How can I help you?

After you greeted who you assume to be Ozpin on the other side of the phone you hear what sounds like someone sipping coffee on the other end.

Ozpin: Come to my office before you head out... I would like to discuss something with you.

He stated in a calm and calculated tone " I really hope I didn't do anything wrong... " You thought as you try to remember if you had done anything that went against school policy, but you were adamantly drawing a blank which only made you a bit more nervous.

(Y/N): I'll head up there right away.

You stated in a calm tone despite your mind being completely in panic mode.

Ozpin: Good, Mis Goodwitch is just outside the room, She'll escort you through the school.

He states before taking another sip of his coffee, but just as you were about to hang up Ozpin said something which made your heart skip a beat.

Ozpin: Oh, by the way, Keep your wits about you... This will be a dangerous proposition I can assure you of that... See you soon Young man.

Just after he said that he hangs up and you began to make your way out of the room " Oh fuck... What did I get myself into... " You thought and as you exited the room and met Mis Goodwitch you failed to notice Grendela watching you as you leave with Mis Goodwitch.
