"Okay we have just gotten word of when and where the Dark Realm will attack first. We'll have to be at the Light Realm's Fort Trinity in on August 18th. I hope you're ready for battle." Mr. Parker addressed his group of young soldiers.

They were meeting currently at the city of Lyria, the capital of the Light Realm. It was weird for the teens to be in an entirely different realm. Luke had heard the news that Lilly had been forced to marry Max two days ago and was upset about the situation but knew that he could fix it. Now that Max was king they had to wage war. A spy had told them what he was planning. King Eric just entered the room.

"Orion." He glared at Mr. Parker.

"Hello, Eric." Mr. Parker sighed wistfully.

"How's Layla? You are taking good care of her right?" Eric gave Mr. Parker slight glare.

"Why don't you ask her yourself?" Orion asked.

"I've already talked to her about it. I want to talk to you. You're taking care of her, right?"

"Of course! We've been together for twenty-five years now. Listen, Eric, I love her. I left my family behind for her. I'm not going anywhere. I'm going to love her until the end of time." Mr. Parker told the king honestly.

"You don't get it, do you? You weren't the only one who left their family behind. She left hers for you. Why didn't I see Layla for twenty five years?" Eric yelled. "Why wouldn't you let her visit me?"

"That was her choice, not mine!" Mr. Parker said starting to get angry.

"I can believe she ran off with you, you Dark Realm scum!"

"Light Realm pansy!"

The group of teens watched awkwardly as the two men screamed at each other like they were teenagers. It was quite weird to see the two act like that.

"Dad, what's going on?" Jade asked softly. "How do you know him? How does he know Mom?"

Mr. Parker sighed and took a deep breath. "Remember how your mom knows people in the Light Realm?" Jade nodded. "Well she knew King Eric very well. Jade, it's time you met your uncle. Eric, this is Jade, our youngest."

Eric shut his mouth. The king was speechless. Jade's eyes widened.

"You're my uncle? But you're the king! You're mom's brother?" Jade asked. She had found out so much in such little time. Two months ago she had a normal family with no secrets, now everything was different.

Eric hugged Jade, surprising her. "Yes I'm your mom's brother. She was a princess, you know. But she gave it up all for the prince of slim over there. I'm sorry I never got to be a real uncle to you." He told her as they hugged.

The teens watched as the family moment. They stood there awkwardly. Luke looked around the room out of sheer awkwardness.

After the moment ended Michael spoke up. "So are we actually going to talk about the battle? Or what?"

Eric coughed. "Right, we should be professionals here, although no offense, but most of you are barely adults, so I guess I shouldn't really call you professionals."

Mrs. Parker walked in. "Alright let's get down to business. The two of you have been getting along, right?" She asked her husband and the king.

"Oh yeah, just great." Mr. Parker lied.

"Couldn't be better. Your husband is really... Uh, different."

"So what have you gone over so far?" Mrs. Parker asked.

"When and where." Mr. Parker stated.

Mrs. Parker nodded in acknowledgement. "What else do we need to go over?"

"Well, there is the matter of our spy. I believe they should be here soon."

It wasn't long before a girl about their age ran in. She had black hair and was wearing red and gray.

"Sorry I'm late. I had a hard time getting away from my boss."

"Serena! What the hell do you want?" Luke exploded. He scowled at her. Nearly all of the other teens did the same except for Emily. She had a calm look on her face. Mr. And Mrs. Parker gaped at the girl who looked almost exactly like their daughter.

"I'm here to help." Serena tried to explain to him.

"I think you've done enough helping. You helped Max steal Lilly!"

"You don't get it. I have to obey the royal family. Now I'm trying to fix what's been done." Serena told him.

"Listen Serena here is our spy. She chose to divulge this information. I want all of you to get along." King Eric said. Luke sighed.

"Fine." He mumbled.

"What news do you bring?" The King asked the spy.

"Fort Trinity around noon on August 17th, not 18th. They changed the date. Their weapons are swords, war hammers, crossbows, bow and arrows, and magic. Over seventy-five percent of their army will be using swords including Max himself. Most of the army appears to be reluctant to do battle. This should be an advantage." Serena informed the occupants of the room.

"Very good, is there anything else?" Eric asked.

"Do you have any information about Lilly?" Luke questioned, worried.

Serena nodded. "She's not doing too well. She's lost a lot of weight. She's very pale. Lilly hasn't been sleeping. I can barely get her to eat anything. She's overworking herself. She's been trying to find a way to escape the Realm since she got there." She said sadly.

"Oh." The despair in his voice was clear. Luke didn't say anything else. Mr. and Mrs. Parker looked down at the thought.

"May I see a map?" Serena asked. She was given one. "Lilly will be there, protected by magic and I will be guarding her." She pointed to a area slightly off the battle field. "Max is planning on attacking, coming from the north west. He says that he will have his swordsmen in the front. That's all I know." Serena told them. King Eric nodded.

"You've done a fine job. Thank you." He told her. "Now if you'll excuse me I must tell my army some new information." King Eric exited the room.

"Well now that that's figured out I believe that you guys should get some sleep." Mr. Parker told the teens. He gave one last look at Serena. There was something so familiar about her. He left the room with his wife following behind.

The teens followed Mr. Parker out of the room, except for Emily.

"Serena, wait! Can I have a word with you? It's not about the war, I promise." Emily stated. Serena was about to leave but she stayed at Emily's words.

"Alright," She sighed. Everyone else had left.

"I just need to ask you a couple questions. You've grown up in the Dark Realm all your life, right?" Emily asked.

Serena nodded. "Yes..." She said in a confused tone.

"You don't know who your parents are, correct?"

Serena eyes went wide. "How did you-?"

"Lucky guess." Emily interrupted. "You don't know your last name?"

"Well yeah. I don't really have one... Why are you asking me these questions?" Serena was very confused.

"Tell me who raised you?" Emily asked.

"Well no one really. I was raised by Natic and Eyeretta, the former king and queen, when I was very young, but I was raised to be a servant. When I got older I was raised by the other servants." Serena told her gloomily.

"What did they tell you happened to your parents?" Emily questioned softly. She knew that these questions were personal but she had too ask them. They had a purpose.

"Natic told me that they abandoned me because they thought I had a dark heart." Serena's face showed that it hurt her to think about it. Emily's eyes were drawn to her necklace. It was blue and had the name Serena printed on it in silver lettering. It looked exactly like the one Lilly always wore besides the color and name.

"Where did you get that?" Emily pointed at the necklace. She sounded more surprised than she actually was. This only fueled her theory.

"It's the only thing that I have from my parents. Can you please tell me why you are asking me these questions?"

"I just want to ask one more and then I'll explain. When's your birthday?" Emily wondered.

"Um... I don't know the exact day. It's sometime in June. Around June 15th I think. I'm a Gemini." She told Emily.

"You don't know how true that might be." Emily muttered. "Listen, Serena, Mr. and Mrs. Parker are Lilly's parents. On June 11th, eighteen years ago, they had twin daughters, by the names of Lilly and Serena. The doctor told the Parkers that Serena had died only a couple hours after birth. They never saw her again. Mr. Parker was from the Dark Realm but he had some sort of problem with the royalty there and left. I believe that Serena didn't die. I believe that you're their daughter." Emily explained. She remembered what Jade had told her. All that information had come in handy.

"What?" Serena said stunned.

"I know that this is a lot for you to handle right now but I first need to prove it's true." Emily said as she pulled two, small, sandwich bags out of her bag. "When Jade told me Mr. and Mrs. Parker's story I took a hair from each of them, just in case it might come in handy later. It's not that weird for a Spell Caster to do so. Anyway these can prove whether or not you are their daughter." Emily said. Serena was still too shocked to speak.

Emily took one, tiny, brown hair out of one bag and a light, blond hair out of the other. She waved her hand over them and started chanting.

"Parentes filia veritas geneticae." She moved her hands to be in front of Serena. "Parentes filia veritas geneticae." Then she moved one hand over the the hairs and one hand over Serena.

The hairs arranged themselves into a little plus sign. Emily opened her eyes and smiled.

"Congratulations, Serena. It looks like you have parents. If you could do me a favor and wait until after the war to tell them. That would be great."

Serena was completely shocked. "I-I have parents? They didn't abandon me? Lilly's my sister? Holy crap this is a lot to process." Serena sat down shocked. It was a lot to process.

"Take your time." Emily said. She left the room smiling. This family had a lot of secrets, but she knew that they could be discovered and fixed.

Serena had a lot to think about. The battle was coming and she had just discovered that she had a family. It gave her even more of a reason to protect Lilly. They weren't just friends. Lilly was her sister.
