Roman's POV

     I've got the perfect idea for today! Logan and Patton are out for today which leaves just me and Anxiety. Apparently Logan needed all of our help for something and got fed up and said, "I'll just do it myself-not like it'll be much different..."Then Anxiety said "You stole that from Steven Universe." And Logan stormed out and Patton followed with him. I've got everything planned out! So that now leaves me alone in my room now, trying on different things and playing wit my hair. I finally settle on my normal hairstyle, and a red and gold hoodie with white jeans. I was going for something...I wouldn't usually  wear, but still made me look just as handsome.

     I looked over at myself in my vanity. I realize something. "God, you are dashing. You're the most handsome thing that ever has and will walk this Earth." I continued to flatter myself for at least five minutes. I stopped myself, the mirror will have been bored to death by the time I stop complimenting myself, or as Anxiety calls it, being narcissistic. Classic Anxiety. I take one final look at myself. I do finger-guns at myself in the mirror and head out the door, shutting it behind me. I look over at the clock. Only 11 o'clock? I make my way over to the couch, flicking on the TV in the process. I sat myself on said couch and look for something to watch. Maybe...maybe Cake Wars or something? Or maybe a movie or something. Maybe Charlie and The Chocolate Factory? Yeah. Not a Disney movie, but just as good.

     I glance over at the clock, 2:17. That's almost 2:30...When I wanted to start the date. I go back to my room, fixing myself up in the mirror. I comb my hair once more for good measure. I take one more good look at myself, walking out the door in the process. I go over to Anxiety's room and knock. No going back now...Anxiety answers the door, looking like they had actually gotten some sleep. "Hey, Rom-" He looked at me, head to toe, noticing I was dressed difference. "See something you like?~" I playfully winked at him. His face flushed with red. "I-I just noticed you were dressed...different..." He avoided eye contact with me. "Heh, okay. Anyways, I wanted to ask, do you wanna..." I cut myself off. What do I say? Do I just go for it? Why am I so nervous about this? "Do you wanna go on a date?" I mustered up the courage, I am Thomas' brave trait, after all. His face got even redder. "I...I'd l-love too.." He looked back at his room and back to me. "Do I, uh, look okay?" His seemed nervous. "Love, you look better than okay~" I said in a soft voice. His face was even redder than before. He looks so cute when he's all flustered. "S-Stop..." He whispered. "Okay, c'mon, let's go!" I dragged him out of his room. "Well?" "Well what?" He asked. "Well what do you want to do?" I replied. He thought for a moment, and then said, "Um... You know what? I just wanna watch a movie...You know, just chill." I nodded at him. "What movie?" I ask. "Any movie, honestly." He responded. I look through the disc rack and pull out Cinderella. I pop in the disc and sit down next to Anxiety. I look over at him and smile, he smiles back. It's a shy smile, but it could still make any heart melt...

     This is it. This is the final thing for our date. "Last stop, I promise." I said. "It's only 10 o'clock." He chuckled. I put my hands over his eyes. "Hey! Wh-" I cut him off, "It's a surprise~" I said in a sing-song voice. "Whatever..." He grumbled. I giggled at his little comment and led him outside. I led him to the garden, not just any garden, the garden I made up. It was special. It had flowers and bushes galore, statues, and I added fairy lights for this special occasion. I sat him down on a little bench, placed in front of a little wall of flowers. I sat down next to him. I removed my hands from his eyes. His eyes fluttered open. They were soon filled with shock. "I-I..." He was at a loss for words. "You like it?" I asked. I've never been so nervous in my life, which was a big shock to myself. "I......I...love it..." He stuttered. His eyes lit up with wonder and excitement. I haven't seen him this happy in forever...I look over at my little display, feeling proud of it. I look back at Anxiety, shuffling closer to him. He looked at me, moving closer, then looking back at the sky. The stars were perfect tonight, shining brightly, every so often they'd twinkle. It was completely perfect. I wrapped my arm around him, pulling him closer to me. I never wanted this to end. He scooted closer to me.

     "R-Roman...?" He broke the comfortable silence. "Yeah?" He looked me in the eye. We stayed like that forever, hardly noticing that we were leaning closer to each-other. Our faces were barely inches apart. I was going to say something, but I was cut off. He leaned in, and pressed his lips against mine. I immediately kissed back, being as gentle as he was. I loved every second of it, I never wanted it to end. However, science does require humans to breath. We pulled away, panting lightly. His face was flushed with a scarlet color. I felt a drop of water hit my head. Rain...I stood up, grabbing his hand in the process. He stood up by my side. We made our way back to the house, dodging the rain as best we could. We ran through the door, slamming it behind us. His voice was still dusted with red. "I love you..." He muttered, pecking my cheek. Before I could respond, he ran off into his room, shutting the door gently. I put my hand over my cheek, slightly caressing it. I didn't even bother to hide my blush. Logan and Patton popped back into the living room, chatting about who knows what. And there I stood, with the biggest smile on my face. "Uh...Roman?" Logan broke me from thoughts. "Huh? What?" I asked. "You were just standing there with a big, goofy smile on your face." "Yeah, it was strange. Is there a new Disney movie announced or what?" Patton chimed in. I can't tell them the truth! They'll freak out! "Uh...yeah!" I didn't think they'd believe it, but they did. "Oh, cool! What's it called?" I did not think this through. "Uh...I'm...not sure!" I said quickly. "Anyways, I'm really tired, goodnight!" I said, running back to my room. This was an amazing day...
