You wanted me to explain the mess in my head

that only I can understand.

So, let's pretend that I am on this little boat,

On the open ocean,

in the middle of nowhere.

Let's pretend that the ocean is my mind,

because like we all know,

the ocean can be scary and dangerous

and even deadly at times.

So sometimes it's beautiful and calm,

The water is blue, and the sun shines.

And then when I least expect it

something happens,

and the storm shows up.

The sky turns dark,

the waves grow bigger,

and my life is threatened.

So beside trying to survive this,

at the same time, I need to find courage to fight.

I need to defeat myself,

no matter how crazy of a night it is.
