Crystal's POV

Today.

Today is the day he will attack, the day we will fight, they day we will die.

And yet, today is also the day we will win. Everyone knows this will happen. And yet they all still will fight to the very end. I will too.

Are you on my side? Or will you die along with your pathetic friends? The words of my father echoed in my head.

Everyone grouped in the dining room where the tables were removed. The new headmaster- Snape- was giving a speech.

"....anyone who knows about Potter's whereabouts who fails to come forward will be... severely punished..." he said, his beady eyes roamed the room.

"Or anyone who is caught helping Potter will be held..." his eyes landed on me. "equally guilty."

Someone stepped into the middle of the room. Everyone gasped as they realized it was none other than Harry Potter himself.

"It seems that your security is not as good as you thought it was." Harry said.

The doors opened to reveal the Order and the Seven. I smiled and stepped towards them and entwined my fingers with Leo's.

"How dare you stand where he stood." Harry glared at Snape. "Tell them what happened that night. Tell them how you looked him in the eye, a man who trusted you and killed him! Tell them!"

Snape quickly drew his wand. Instinctively, I drew my wand too, as did the Order and the Seven. Professor McGonagall stepped in front of Harry, wand poised. Almost too quick to process, McGonagall cast an attack spell and Snape immediately blocked it. She furiously cast many spells as Snape tried to block them all.

A few seconds later, Snape finally flew out the window, breaking the glass.

"COME BACK! COWARD!" McGonagall yelled.

Everyone burst out in cheers and gathered around Harry. Suddenly, he looked dizzy.

"Haaaarrrryyyy....." my father whispered into Harry's brain.

For some reason, I heard it too.

"Potter?" Professor McGonagall asked.

"Crysssstaaaalllll..... lassst chancccce.... join me now and I'll spare you're friendsss...." Voldemort whispered in my head.

"No! Ill never join!" I yelled.

Everybody turned to look at me. All of the sudden, a girl screamed. She covered her ears and kept screaming. Then, another girl screamed too.

"Listen everyone.... give me Harry Potter and I shall spare you.... I know you'll want to fight.... give me Harry and I shall not attack.... I shall spare the lives of many.... give me Harry Potter. Harry Potter, I now speak directly to you. Hand over yourself or I will kill every last man, woman, and child who tries to keep me from you. Meet me in the woods. You have 1 hour...." The Dark Lord said.

I know everyone heard him.

"There he is! Get him!" A Slytherin yelled.

I stood in front of him. Gradually, everyone did the same.

"Mr. Filch! Could you please take the Slytherins to the Dungeon?" McGonagall said.

I knew the war has begun.

Part 2 (skip to le battle while Harry "dies")

I ran around, frantically trying to find Leo or Harry, dodging killing spells in the process.

"Leo! Harry!" I yelled.

I found Fenir Grayback hunched over a body.

"Stupify!" I yelled.

A blast of light came from my wand and blew Grayback away. I got a good look of the (sadly) dead body. I gasped.

It was Hazel.

(A/N: Haha, jk. I'm not that mean. I don't kill off main characters like some authors... *glares at Riordan*)

It was Lavender. A tear was running down the side of her face. I looked away, my own tears forming in my eyes. I ran off again, searching for Leo.

I finally found him, up near the bridge. Everyone was there too.

"What?...." I asked.

Leo pointed to a new crowd. I slowly turned around to see my father and his followers behind him. He was smiling a weird and funny smile.

Like, seriously. Get me a camera. This smile is HILARIOUS! Imma post it on Instagram!

No time for jokes.

I saw a familiar body in the captive Hagrid's arms.

"Harry Potter is dead!" My father yelled, happily. Then he gave the most stupidest and funny laugh ever. It was hard to not laugh.

"NO!!" Ginny yelled.

Ginny was held back, but there was no one for me. I drew my wand and ran to my evil father. Bellatrix, now free from Azkaban, drew her wand. So did the other followers. Voldemort waved his hand.

"Foolish girl. I gave you a choice," he sneered. Then he spoke louder for everyone to hear. "And yet you choose you friends! Over me! Your FATHER!"

Everyone gasped.

"Now Harry!"

Harry jumped out of Hagrid's arms, wand poised.

"WHAT?! HOW DARE YOU BETRAY ME!" My father screamed, raged.

Nagini quietly slithered up behind me. How dare you Cryssstal..... she said in Parseltongue.

I musst do what I musst.... I replied in the same tongue.

She hissed and struck at me, but I blocked her with a wall of earth.

Ow....

"ILL TEACH YOU TO EMBARASS ME! AVADA KEDAVRA!" A flash of green light flashed from his wand and I barely blocked with a small ball of water.

It was small enough to be hidden, but to block the blast from killing me. It knocked me off my feet, and I hit my head.

"CRYSTAL!!" Leo yelled.

Harry had just enough time to blast the "expelliarmis" spell at Voldemort. Unfortunately, at the same time, Voldemort blasted the killing spell.

After the war was over, I went to the infirmary room where everyone wad. I saw the Weasleys huddled over a body. Immediately, tears started forming and I walked to them too. The ran free when I saw that the lost one was Fred.

I found the 7 in their own little group. Hazel was patching up a wound on Frank's cheek, Jason holding Piper, Percy using water to heal a cut on Annabeth's stomach.

I sat next to Leo and held his hand.

"Come on," he whispered. "Let's go home."

~a few weeks later~

I've been keeping contact with Harry, Ron, and Hermione. Annabeth's gotten really close to Hermione. No surprise. I also made sure that all my new friends got claimed back here at camp.

I was reading a book on in the strawberry fields when an owl flew up to me. It was Athena.

"Hey baby girl! How are you?" I pet her head as she lovingly pecked my leg.

I noticed a letter on her leg. I grabbed it and read it. It said:

Dear Crystal,

I'm sorry this battle ended in tears. Jk, not really :D but I seriously thought about things since that's all I could do, basically floating aimlessly around with no body. We should hang out more often... once I find a stupid wizard to attach myself to. But you can't tell anyone I'm still alive. And I also decided to give you my blessing for that Leonard or Bob or whatever guy. I hope to see you soon.

I smiled and folded up the note.
