Crystal's POV

I sat in the Slytherin common room doing my homework with Annabeth. We had tons of work in each class, but Snape gave us extra homework.

"Uh! Why does all the professors have to give us a lot of homework? I'm tired!" I complained.

"I hear ya. I'm tired also. Hi, nice to meet you. I'm Faithlyn Peerz. But you can call me Fay." A new voice greeted. I smiled as a girl got up from the shadows. She looked pretty shy. She had messy curly black hair with platinum blonde tips. Her lips were a pale pink and eyes were an obsidian black. She had ivory skin.

"Hi, Fay. This is Annabeth Chase and I'm Crystal. Or Crys. Any one is okay." She smiled. "I heard you jumped off the bridge!" I nodded. "How did you survive?" I froze. "Uh, well... um... I turned into a bird?" "Uh huh. Does this have anything to do with being a demigod?"

"How-" She cut Annabeth off. "Chill. I'm a demigod too. My mother is Khione." Fay opened her palm and snowflakes swirled around it. "Cool!" Annabeth said. "So, who's your parent?" Fay asked. "Athena." "Gaea."

"Wow. Your mom's Gaea? You're not evil are you?" I laughed. "You would think so, but no. I am perfectly normal. For a demigod."

"That's so cool! What powers do you have?"

"Basically elemental powers and a few more. I was gifted by all the gods." I explained.

Just then Draco came by with a bandaged nose. I glared at him and he walked by faster. But out the corner of my eye, I saw Fay blush. Does she like him? Hm... After Draco passed by, Fay sighed softly.

"You like him." I said. She blushed even harder but nodded. "Yeah."

"I'd talk to him, but unfortunately I hate him. Long story." I said when I saw her confused face. "Since you're a demigod, have you been to Camp Half-Blood? Or Camp Jupiter?" Annabeth asked.

"I've heard of it, but never been there." Fay replied. "Maybe during the summer, we can take you! Introduce you to Chiron, ride the pegasi, or even climb the lava wall. Dangerous, but fun."

"Yeah. Maybe." she sadly looked out the window. "What's wrong?" I asked. "I'm not sure my father will let me go. He barely let me go to Hogwarts! I'm not sure. Its sounds fun, but I don't know."

"Maybe we can convince him to let you go. Camp in the summer, school in Fall and Winter! Or we can have Piper charmspeak him into letting you go." Annabeth suggested.

We all laughed. "Maybe. That's an idea." "We better finish our homework and then get to dinner." Annabeth said. "Yeah. Then go help the guys. Hermione's has enough trouble helping Ron and Harry before everyone else arrived." I said.

"Especially Percy." Annabeth laughed.

"Especially Percy." I agreed.
