Vampires were something of myth and legend, often told of in books or depicted in films, the first vampire being the 1819 short "The Vampyre" by John William Polidori. However that isn't the case they aren't myth but reality. Ellie a 22 year old art student from London in the United Kingdom had lost her friends in the first sightings of the creatures known as stragoi hiding out in an old art studio only leaving when she needed to to survive.

One day while inside the quarantine zone she is attacked by a hoard of stragoi while trying to run from them she falls straining her ankle not being able to run or move she accepts her death however she is saved by a hoodie figure that she begins to learn is a man named Quinlan. Half Human half stragoi accidentally created by the master after he bit a pregnant human. The only man who can kill the master depicted in legend and an ancient text known as Occido Lumen is a medieval manuscript which Abraham Setrakian believes is the key to defeating the Master.

Many saw Quinlan as a monster others didn't know what to think of him but yet were scared however Ellie saw the man underneath the vampires Cloak.
