AEHYE POV

My eyes widened as a sudden weight enveloped me, and I closed my eyes as I felt a pair of arms around me, as if I was home again, as if everything felt right.

I was slowly dragged into the river, my eyes slowly closing. And my chin was rested on the shoulder of another's before being dragged down.

My eyes slowly opened, and my eyes widened as I saw clusters of black feathers around us, and my faded hands automatically slid through this person's back.

"Sorry," a deep voice said and I looked at the person that was centimeters away from my face.

His face was leaned on mine, as we were both in the air. Above the Sanzu River and he looked at me, his eyes filled with something I couldn't decipher.

I slowly parted from the shoulder of that person. And my eyes looked at the man that jumped off the bridge, and he grins at me sadly before closing the small gap between our faces, his forehead resting against mine.

"I don't want to tell you my name, you know why?" He said softly as he wrapped his arms around my waist, hugging me discreetly.

"Because I don't want you to forget my name as soon as I say it. I want you to remember my name forever, I want you to keep my name close in your heart, because I hate being forgotten so easily," he whispered under his breath.

"So, you'll keep your name to yourself? Why? I can remember your touch, the scent you left on me, the love that you gave me," I replied as he looked up to me.

"Why? Do names have to be so important? It simply just gives a label to a person. True love comes from feelings, the way how we're attached to someone, the memories that instantly come to you, the moments you've spent with someone," he explains and I look at him in the eye.

"I remember.... that I did what I had to do for someone.... someone important to me. I remember being there in times when he needed trouble," I said and he sighed softly before looking at me lovingly.

"Will you still love me then? Even if I'm not by your side?" He asked and my eyes slowly closed before leaning my head on his chest.

"I'll wait for you, I'm sure of it! I will if the world wants me to," I said and he smiled before looking at me.

"Will you still love me, even if I did lots of wrong stuff? Even if I made something bad? Even if you don't even know my name?" He asks as he looks at me.

"You know if you're in love, you'll forget that person's bad deeds, all his sins, because love doesn't measure to that extent, love measures how deep you've fallen for their flaws, their actions, and their personality," I said and he chuckled softly.

"Idiot, you should find a man that's human. Someone who you can love freely, someone you can remember," he said and I looked at him.

"I want it to be... you," I said as I looked back at his brown eyes.

"I don't care if the world is so cruel to both of us! I'll wait for you, I don't want to forget you, I want to be with you...," I continued and he hugges me tighter.

"Promise me.... when you grow more beautiful, more matured, more successful, that you'll be happier," he said as he looked at me, a tear rolling down his cheek.

"Please... I won't regret anything, I won't regret being cursed... if you're happy," he whispered as he caressed my cheek with his fingers.

"I don't regret meeting you, smiling with you, laughing with you, loving you. It's better than not meeting you at all," he said as he looked at me.

"The moments we shared was endless, but the time between us ran out," he smiled bitterly as he stared at my eyes.

"If you won't tell me your name.... would you atleast answer a question?" I asked him and he nodded.

"Was everything I did for you... worth it? Even though it seperated us? Even if the world turned against us?" I asked and he smiled softly.

"You can't love if you can't sacrifice. Because it won't do anything at all. As long as I met you in my life, as long as I held you hand even if it's just once, it's worth it. I don't care if the world turns against us, because we'll turn against them," he replied as he pressed his lips on my forehead.

"My love, we're like time. We spend the second staring into each other's eyes, a minute in each other's embrace, an hour laughing with each other, until time runs out. Our love runs out," he said.

"But I don't regret anything at all now.  As long as I met you, as long as I held you in my arms, I don't regret you being the first and the last love in my heart," he says softly and a tear rolled down my cheek.

"Why....? Why do the people I love the most.... get taken away from me? My world can't work without you, my world won't be the same without you," I said under my breath as I pressed my head in his chest.

"People get taken away from you because you need to learn to be an independent, strong, woman. As long as you've known them, there's no need to be sad. Be happy you've spent your time with them while you still can, including me," he replied.

"You see, I'm a human with no soul, no heartbeat, no life at all. But maybe the reason why the Almighty made me meet you is because we share the same soul together," he said and smiled softly.

"But even if you can't share it with me anymore.... continue to live, it's better to live then regret anything as you die. The last thing I want for you is to live. Because time runs out easily," he said.

"Someday... when you're old... when you're taller, lovelier, prettier.... maybe... just maybe... the Almighty will give us a chance... a chance for both of us to meet again in our next lives," he spoke.

"Because no matter what... I'll find you, and I will feel your touch again... I will make sure I remember every inch of your face," he said.

"So if you can.... never forget my touch, my love for you, never forget me... please... even if you're happy with someone else, please.... atleast remember how much my touch means to you," he spoke.

"Because if you say love me, I love you too, I always loved you.... remember that," he said.

"What kind... of-"

Then my eyes widened as he leaned his face towards mine, his lips softly pressed on mine as I slowly closed my eyes, the kiss melting me slowly as he made sure to remember every inch of it.

Then, a waft of wind surrounded both  of us, and my eyes slowly opened as I looked at the pocketwatch floating in midair, the rust engulfed the whole pocketwatch, no room of gold left as it slowly withered in the air.

"H-huh?" My eyes widened as I looked at the figure infront of me, and tears started pooling in my eyes.

His body started to wither like the black feathers, and he closed his eyes slowly as the feathers started to engulf him, and he shut his eyes closed, before he softly let go of my waist.

Then, he was gone. And all that was left... were black feathers.

And my eyes widened as the wind stopped, my jaw hung as I felt myself falling down in great force. My eyes closing shut instantly.

And my body hit the water beneath me.

The Sanzu River.

It has been done.

The sinner will be forgotten by all the humans that have encountered him. He will be erased in this world, as if he wasn't in this world.

And his name will be forgotten. But his past will remain unchanged, his past will be the evidence that he was in this world. And the woman who he desired was the reason why he lived a good life.

But his cursed life shall wither like his black feathers.
