Violet's POV:

"It's my purpose. I have something else I need to do tonight, remember? Do you and Violet want to come with me?"

"But don't let me rush you, Zeref-kun." Ultear adds. "Take your time."

Jellal walks up and addresses me. "Ultear has experience from both ends of mind-control."

She nods her head. "I'd be glad to help you also, Violet, Rogue, if you ever have any questions or want help with something."

When I see Zeref is done eating I ask him to talk to me privately. "What do you want to do with these books about us? They are mostly about you. They feel evil. I would feel better if we burned them." He agrees.

I start dumping them in the unlit fire-pit that was built. "Natsu, we'll need you as soon as these are all here."

"No prob," he says grinning. He grabs one of the books and sets it on fire.

Zeref walks up to the fire pit. I take one hand and Ultear takes the other and we watch the books burn.

Lucy's POV:
You haven't heard from me since this morning. I bet you wonder what Leo and I have been up to today. You would you pervs...

Violet's POV:
"Ultear, I really think you should get some sleep," I suggest. "All of those servants are going to need you in the morning."

"Right, but first we need to take care of this fortress," she says, and we all walk with her to watch.

Ultear sends an orb over the fortress. Magic rings surround the place like they did when Jellal cast his spell. "Revert." The fortress vanishes, leaving in its place forest, like it was never built. Ultear falls to the ground, exhausted and unconscious. Natsu picks her up. "This is my fault. You should have let me help." He spits at Jellal, and carries her back to camp.

"No, it's my fault," says Zeref, "I brought those dragons to life." He falls to his knees.

"It's over." I remind him. "But I think I'd do it all again for you Vio-nee," he says through his tears. "You won't have to. It's over." I say again, and settle in to wait for him to fall asleep.

I see that Rogue is watching over us and he is on the phone. I wonder what that is about?

I hum my favorite song and as soon as I reach the end, Zeref is out. I had a feeling he was exhausted. I call on the shadows to carry us back to camp and transport him gently to his sleeping bag. I am not ready to shadow cage us yet, I am too curious. "What was that phone call about, Rogue?"

His shadow whispers in my ear, "I don't want anyone else to hear." I give him a look that says, "okay, you've got my attention". "Where is Zeref going to stay when we get back home?" Home. I can't wait! "Do you really want him staying with us?" His shadow asks. "I can't turn him away or make him feel unwelcome!" I send back. "Vi-chan, you know I wouldn't ask that of you." I look at him with confusion on my face. "I was buying him his own apartment, right next to mine. I bought the whole building, so his guild can use it whenever they need to. That was the previous owner calling me to let me know that it is all taken care of." What a wonderful idea! I laugh and tackle him. "Ro-kun, I love you."
"I know. Now go take care of your brother," he says. "You promised him a shadow cage. We'll be home soon."

He heads off to talk to Jellal. I make the shadow cage and think of going home, drifting off to sleep with happy dreams.

Zeref wakes me up before dawn. "We need to be ready to help these people," he says. I am amazed at his fast recovery and wonder to myself how long it will last.

Zeref sticks with Ultear. She and Jellal are great at comforting everyone. They seem to be adjusting well, happy to be free. Natsu and Happy are getting everyone fed. I don't know what I can do for them, so I try to offer them some jewel, but it turns out that they all have magic powers and are confident in their ability to join a guild.

Before long it is time for Jellal to call Erza. After the call he makes an announcement. "Good news, everyone. Looks like we have another newlywed couple in Fairy Tail." We all look at each other wondering who it might be. "Lucy and Leo."

Natsu gets a shocked look on his face mumbles "Why didn't she wait for me to come home?" and starts packing. We decide we might as well follow suit. He takes off with Happy while the rest of us are still saying our goodbyes, but Ultear seems distracted.

Lucy's POV:
After another night sleeping in Leo's arms, and another dreamy morning, I get a call from Erza. "You'd better get down to the guild, there is an unusual job request that only you can handle."

"Alright, we'll meet you there for lunch."

"We?"

"Leo and I of course. Erza, guess what? He never has to leave me again. We're married!"

When we get there, Gray and Juvia are walking into the guild hall. Juvia stops suddenly, causing Gray to bump into her. He grins and puts his hands on her waist. "Looking for attention, Juvia?" He says while placing kisses along her neck. Leo and I just exchange glances and smile at each other, backing away a bit. I am glad they are happy.

Once we are inside, Erza notices the mark on my chest right away. "Ah, congratulations!" She says and we both get uncomfortable armor-clad hugs.

She presents me with the job request.

"I don't have much for a reward, but I need your help. I have been asking every Celestial Spirit wizard to help me solve a mystery. Please come right away, I am running out of time." $30,000 Jewel. -- Mizohu

Natsu comes crashing through the doors of the guild. "I'm home!" he yells at no one in particular, then seeing Leo and I, "Leo, you sneaky bastard, you married Lucy while I was gone!? I'm gonna kick your ass."

Everyone in the guild gasps. Oh no, what do I do? Is he jealous? Is he still my partner? Have I lost him for good?
I run between Leo and Natsu. "Natsu, it couldn't wait. I'm sorry. Let me explain."
