I wake up with Seb on my head. I have a blanket on me now. "Huh? When did i get a blanket..."

"You looked cold. You fell asleep next to me, so that's probably why."

"oh...u..um thank you Gray.."

I blush a little. Did i really? I feel a foot on my back. I look over to see Natsu is on the couch too, he's completely flipped himself upside down. But he has one of his feet stretched out, and on my back. I push his foot off and gently wrap Seb back in the blanket. I stand up, my legs wobble a bit. I see Erza fell asleep on top of Lucy's foot. They are both on my air mattress on the floor. Happy is on Natsu's arm, Carla is next to Happy. Which is funny, because she won't be happy when she hears about this! Wendy is asleep on Lucy's bed. I open my mouth to ask Gray where he fell asleep...then i remember. So i hold it back. "*gasp* Today's the ball!" I grab Lucy's arm to shake her awake. "Wake up Lucy! Omg! Erza you too! Up up up!" I feel a little sorry for waking them up like this. Wendy is in Lucy's bed. Natsu is still dead asleep. I just leave him since us girls just need to pick out our outfits. "Wake up!" Lucy finally gives in.

"I'm up!!! And i know eeeek!"

"Squeee!"

We both get up and do a weird happy jump thing. I grab Gray and Wendy's arms.

"Yaaaaaay!" I get happy that Wendy is now excited.

"Wendy! You never picked out a dress! We need to get you one!"

I wave Lucy's keys in front of her face. Lucy calls Virgo. She changes me and Lucy into our dresses. She uses the paper screen..this time she does. Then she changes Wendy into a cute light-pink poofy short dress.

"You are adorable!"

Wendy blushes and i snap a picture using Sky's camera. She left it here when she went home. She went home in the morning to pick out a dress. I feel a little sad that i can't help, that would have been fun! Gray let's go of our squeaky-happy-jumpy thing.

"You should give Juvia a dress...i don't trust her "fashion sense"...for all i know she could come to the ball wearing nothing. I don't really want to see all that..."

"Awwwwww! You're so niceeeeee!"

We all pretend to tease him. I hear a knock at the door. Erza and Lucy are talking, so i go to answer it. I expect to see Sky...but it's Juvia.

"Juvia just wanted to say that...Lyon-san came....he wants Juvia to go with him to the dance. Juvia wants to go with her Gray-sama though.."

"That's alright. We'll just have someone else go with hi-"

"Great! Here's Lyon-san!"

She pushes him in front of me.

"What are you doing here Lyon?"

Gray says now in just his boxers. Juvia just stares, you could not stare? I mean come on!

"Gray.....um your clothes."

I point to his boxers.

"HUH!?"

He walks off frustrated that he took off his clothes once again..

"So Lyon. Is there anyone besides Juvia you would like to go with?"

"No. Juvia-sama is the only one for me!"

"Okay...let's find you a hobby. Other then Juvia."

"Sounds fine....as long as i see Juvia-sama again!"

"Oh jeez...."

I facepalm...then i realized he now has his shirt off. I guess Gray's stripping habit is contagious. I throw his shirt on his head and start pulling him out the door.

I start heading to the market. I pull out a knitting kit.

"Knitting.....i have to admit. It takes a while.."

"I'll try.."

I see him buy a knitting kit and walk to Lucy's house back with me.

"Who knows, you might even make something for Juvia."

"Juvia! Juvia-sama will need a sweater! I'm coming my love!"

"Why did i say that?"

I say this as he runs to give Juvia her present. I facepalm as he tries to knit. He didn't even read the instructions!

"Um...ugh...don't worry Juvia-sama! I'll..give this a try!"

I laugh at how clueless Juvia is as he "declares his love for her". I laugh at how he gives up trying to knit and just starts wrapping the strings of yarn around her waist and up.

"It's comin' out good Lyon!"

I laugh at how Gray said that.

"I really can't stop laughing!"

Everyone just joins in with the laughing.

"Oh! We still need to get Juvia's dress! Lucy call Virgo!"

"Right!"

She calls Virgo to give Juvia a dress. Juvia gets changed into a really really pretty tight-fitting ice-blue dress. We all look amazed at her dress. Oh yeah, Virgo didn't give Erza a dress. Erza said that she had already reequipped a dress. So we all let her choose her own. I think of who we will all go with.

"Lucy, you could go with Loke. Sky will go with Natsu. Juvia will go with Gray. All the Exceeds can go together. And....who will Erza go with?"

"I have a friend."

"Okay. So who will me, Wendy, and Lucy (she doesn't want to go with Loke) go with?"

"You could just go as a group."

"Okay!"

We all decide that we will go as a group. I start making my way towards Lucy.

"Thank you so much for the dress!"

"It was no problem!"

I hug her and start thinking of what i will do with Rogue. Hhhhhmmm....

"Wanna go to the guild? I still haven't been on a job. We could pick one out then do it tomorrow!"

"Okay!"

"Sure."

"Sounds good."

Everyone agrees with me and comes along. I enter the guild excited for the ball. Everyone stares at our dresses.

"Oh yeah! We forgot something Lucy! We need to educate these boys to wear suits. Can you call Loke?"

"Sure! I don't think he will be much help though.."

"Whatever..he wears a suit though. So that's good enough."

She summons Loke.

"Hey Loke!"

"Sup Violet!?"
I bro-fist him.

"When did you guys get so close?"

"I don't know......i just get along with him."

Loke smirks.

"I love you too Violet."

"No! Not like...that.."

My face turns bright red.

"Wanna go to the ball with me?"

"Um....as long as you don't hit on other girls while we are there. And if someone else doesn't ask me. Then sure!"

"Good enough!"

"Do you want to help out decorating?"

"It would be my pleasure."

I laugh at how weird he acts. It gets a little annoying though..sometimes.

"Hey..stand still for a sec.."

He stands there. I stand onto the tips of my toes. I mess with his hair.

"Kawaii!"

I stand back. Looking at the cute lion ears i made out of his hair. He laughs and asks for a mirror.

"I might just keep it this way!"

"I think you look super cute with it like that!"

"Hey...Violet. I need to ask you something."

He gets on one knee.

"Will you marry me?"

"NO! I SWEAR I BARELY EVEN KNOW YOU!!"

"It was worth a shot!"

"I hope that you know i'm not going to the ball with you now."

"Oh well! It was worth it!"

He just smirks then goes off and asks Lucy. She has almost the same reaction. He can be a real - Oh hey! I just noticed there will be a prom queen and king! I think of who will win. Sky and Natsu? Lucy and Loke? Happy and Carla?! Jeez. I don't have very much of a imagination do i? I look around at the decorated guild. I smile as a streamer falls onto my face. I look around at everything. It's all so happy!!! I see happiness everywhere i look! I look at the door. Juvia is hopping away as quickly as possible from Lyon who has more yarn.

"Wait! I'm going to make you a scarf! Give my you're neck!"

"GRAY-SAMA HE'S TRYING TO KILL ME!!"

I laugh at how much Lyon likes Juvia.

"You two need to go together!"

"Yeah! What Gray said!"

I smile at him then go over to Lucy.

"Hey Lucy.."

"Yeah?"

"I kinda feel awkward."

"Why?"

"Because..."

"Yes?"

"This dress is really itchy."

"Ha! Mine too!"

"I can't believe we actually put these on."

"I know! But, we look good!"

"Yeah..that's all that matters right now.....i think."

"I wish that the ball would start already."

"Me too."

"I think that, that guy over there wanted to go with you!"

She points to a guy outside.

"Ummm...Lucy. I don't know that person.."

"Oh.....that is a little creepy then. Why is he watching you?"

"I don't know...let's try to ignore it for now."

The lights go off. They turn on some music. "Yay! They finally started the dance!"

"You wanna get in the crowd?"

"Sure, i get a little nervous around to many people tho-woah!"

"Come on it will be fun! Let's dance!"

I let her pull me into the crowd. I dance a little then look at the door. I see Sky wearing one of the prettiest dresses ever. It was a shade of black, but with other colors mixed in. To where you see the colors...but you really don't.

"You're dress is amazing!"

"Thanks!"

I usher her over so we could all dance. We dance until a slow song comes on. Then we all stop because that would be awkward. I get pulled into the crowd by someone. It's a very tall man...he's wobbling a bit. I can't see his face. He's MUCH taller then me. I awkwardly try to grab one of his hands. It falls off.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!"

Everyone stares at me with wide eyes. The music gets turned off.

"What happened?!"

Gray rushes over with his fists ready. Erza does the same ready with a sword. Natsu comes last pulling away from Sky's waist.

"Where's the monster!?"

"There's no monster Natsu.....but..this guys hand just..came off!"

I point to the floor and everyone looks at it weird. I pull the hat off his head.

"Why did you guys do this!?"

I pull the hat off to reveal the exceeds underneath it.

"We wanted to dance with you.....but we were to short. We decided we could sneak in using this costume and we could dance with you!" I laugh at Happy's weird planning.

"We could dance! You don't have to wear a silly costume!"

I pick Happy up and twirl him around. I dance with him until the song is over.

"Mind if i cut in?"

"Oh.......suuure!."

Gray cuts in and asks to dance. He puts his mouth up to my ear. I want to scream out of weirdness.

"Violet."

"Yeah?"

"I want you to look to your left...but don't make a big scene out of it."

"Um..okay."

I turn to my left.

"Do you see him? He's been staring at you this whole time."

"Really? Stalker..I tried to ignore him at first, but i guess he didn't stop."

"Yeah. Turn right."

I turn right and he twirls me. I giggle at how bad i am at dancing.

"Sorry. I suck at dancing!"

"Naw your good! Better then me at least."

"Did you come over to really ask me to dance...or did you just want to tell me about that gu-"

The song ends and everyone claps. I join in, a little mad i didn't finish my question. I look over Gray's shoulder. The guy who was staring at me is gone....that's a little freaky. I start to dance with Lucy and Wendy again. Leaving Gray for Juvia.

"I wonder where Erza is?"

"She said that she had a friend, remember?"

"Yeah Lucy i do.....i just wonder what her friend looks like.

Erza's POV

I try to do one of those girly giggles best as i can. He can tell it's fake.
"You don't have to do that. You can just be yourself."

"I know. It's just out of habit i guess."

He grabs my hand. What do i do? I have never been like this before! I'm going frantic! I try to calm myself by breathing. In, out, in, out.

"Is something wrong?"

"No! I'm um perfectly..fine.."

He stares at me. I don't know what to do. We walk until we get to a bridge. "Erza. I.."

"Yes?"

"I.."

"You don't have to say anything."

"I'm sorry."

"I know you are. That's in the past though."

"I'm so glad you..forgive..me.."

We both get closer. I feel his hand on my hip. I remove his mask. And we kiss, on a bridge. With the stars shining above us.

Violet's POV

"I'm beat!"

I fall into a chair and take off my high-heels. Lucy laughs and sits in the chair next to me. I feel a warm hand on my shoulder.

"Wanna go back to Lucy's house?"

"Yeeess. But i don't. I'm to tired to walk....plus i don't want to miss who gets crowned."

"Okay. I wonder who will."

"It might even be you and Sky. Who knows?!"

"Naw....that would be weird."

"Why she really likes you!"

"I just think it would be weird.."

"Well th-"

"It would be weird. That's all."

"Fine! Fine! I'll leave you alone!"

"Okay."

"Jeez..."

I start to wonder who it really will be.

"And the winners of the ball king and queen! Are!"

All falls silent. I wait patiently for Mirajane to open the letter.
