Violet's POV

I feel like I'm the 'baby' of the group. Like everyone tries to protect me, I don't want that though. I have magic, I can use it..

"Hey Violy.."

Natsu catches up to me. I turn towards him.

"Yeah Natsu?"

"I just wanted to say sorry for the burn..."

"It's fine, it doesn't even hurt anymore!"

I lie.

"Good! Well, let's get the money!"

"Yeah!"

He grabs my hand and drags me over to get the reward money.

"Oh my! So is that really what happened?!"

I hear the woman say as Erza points to me as I come up with Natsu. Gray looks at me and Natsu then turns his head dramatically.

"Yes, that's what happened."

"Well! I would have never expected that! Here's the reward money! Thank you so much!"

Lucy's eyes get huge at the sight of the money. She grabs it all and starts counting it. I roll my eyes at her and feel something on my shoulder. I see Natsu is sniffing my shoulder.

"Natsu? Could you stop that, It's kinda annoying."

"But, you smell different!"

"Maybe it's sweat.."

"No, sweat smells like well sweat. This smells likkkkkeee.....hmm..."

He puts his hand on his chin as he takes my hand and sniffs it. I roll my eyes and take my hand away.

"Natsu-"

"Like when you touch a dead plant."

"I smell like a dead plant?!"

"Not a dead plant, just like death.."

"Why would I smell like that!!??"

"I don't know!"

"Natsu! You're freaking me out!"

"I know! I'm freaked out by you!"

We both stare at each other in horror, we both go to Erza at the same time.

""Erza!""

Both of us shout in unison.

"I smell like death!"

"Violy smells like death!"

We turn to each other.

"WHAT?"

Everyone exclaims at the same time.

"Violet smells like what!?"

Gray comes up to me. Natsu points to my hand.

"Violy smells like death!"

"Death? Is she okay?"

I look at Gray.

"You don't have to say she...I'm right here.."

"Okay, 'Violy'."

"That sounds weird when you say that.."

"So, it doesn't sound weird when Natsu says it, but when I say it, it sounds weird?!"

"Yes.."

"What's the difference?!"

"I don't know!"

"Maybe we should figure out why!"

"Yeah! We should!"

We are now both yelling at each other for no reason.

"Maybe it's because Natsu is weird!"

"Natsu is weird!"

"Yeah!"

Yeah!"

"Fine!"

"Fine!"

We both walk away from each other. Everyone stares at us with a 'Wth' face. I stay there, wondering what just happened.

"Hey Violet..remember Rogue?"

"Of course Lucy."

"He's still trapped..."

I get wide eyes.

"Did I leave him in that long!? I meant to punish him..but if he stays in there to long he'll go mad!"

I start to run off to the guild where he is.

~Time skip~

I get to the guild. I see him, I take the shadow cage away. He's there with his head in his knees, rocking back and forth, softly saying.

"Stop stop stop make it stop..the voices.."

Crap!!! He's a goner!

"Rogue?"

He slowly turns his head to me in a creepy fashion. He moves quickly and swiftly. He hugs me like a child. I just slowly pat his head, hoping he will let go. I see that he's shaking, should've expected that.

"Heeeyy......"

I try to break this awkward moment, in hopes he will let go of my waist. (He's hugging me on his knees, so he's wrapped around my waist, like a child.)

"I'll be good now..."

He says like a child.

"You will?"

"Yes.."

I hug him back then make him let go. I see him smile, then go into the guild. I hear something, but I ignore it. I hear a shooting noise and a crashing sound. I get wide eyes and enter the guild. There's a huge hole in the wall, and Rogue is hiding in the shadows. I see him smirk, then leave.

I should've expected this to happen..

I think as I sit in a chair. I think if Rogue meant what he said. He probably didn't. I sigh and facepalm.

I wonder if Rogue knows anything about Zeref...
