"I don't think we need to look for him. It seems that Rogue is pretty intent on finding you," says Gajeel.

"Perhaps you are right Gajeel." I reply. "Thank you for helping me, and for helping Ryo-kun."

"That's what guild members and old friends are for."

"Okay, so we should use me as bait?"

"I can go with you and work on your memory some more, then call everyone if/when Rogue shows up," suggests Warren.

Gray frowns. "I don't like it."

I put my hand on his shoulder. "Relax. We'll take it really slow and easy." I assure him.

"And I will go to, so I can be of help," adds Wendy

"Yeah, but we need to keep the group small. I think part of the reason he is staying away is because of Gray and Natsu fighting him last time," adds Erza.

"Fro wants to go too!"

"Of course, you can go with me." says Seb, and takes Frosch's hand.

"Won't he suspect a trap if you are just mulling around with no agenda?" Asks Lucy.

"You are right, Lu-chan it should appear that we are doing something."

"Why don't you head back to the cave where you were living?"

"Well, It's really far from here, it would take too long."

"Well, you don't have to actually go there. If you just head that direction it will look as though you have a plan."

"And Rogue would know where you are going too," adds Gajeel. "He must remember. He'll either be curious or try to stop you."

"Fro thinks so too." says Frosch. And I nod in agreement.

"It's settled then," agrees Erza. "Violet, we will stay near by and wait for Warren's call, but far enough away that Rogue won't suspect anything. Warren, please check in with me every 90 minutes." Erza and Pantherlily start walking away.

Virgo appears and speaks to Lucy. "I am sorry Princess. The shop owner has no information on where the dress came from. Do you wish to punish me?" Lucy thanks her and she goes back through her gate. "We are all here for you when you need us Violet. And Warren and Wendy's Unison raid will keep you safe." Lucy gives me a hug.

"Be careful," Gray says to me, then glares at Warren.

"Take care of Violy for me!" Says Natsu, putting his arm around Warren's shoulders.

Gajeel nods at us and joins the others.

I turn to Warren, Seb, Wendy, Carla and Frosch. "Well, let's get going. Frosch, can you carry Warren? If we all fly we will all make good time."

In no time, we arrive at a good spot to make camp.

Wendy, Carla, and Frosch start working on a fire.

"While we are here I might as well get to work," says Warren. "Why don't I at least give Seb your memories of Ryos so that he knows more about what's going on?"

"Okay," I agree, forgetting that I didn't tell Warren everything.

When we get to Ryos' confession of love Warren looks surprised for a second and decides I must not want to talk about it. "Does that help any Seb?"

"Well," answers Seb. "I know more what's going on, but I still don't remember anything else."

"Let me try," says Warren and concentrates on Seb's memories. "OW! What was that?"

"Wendy! Check on Warren."

"Right!" Wendy scans Warren's head and body. "He's fine."

"Yeah, I think I backed out fast enough, but obviously that is too dangerous."

Carla speaks up shyly. She reminds me of myself, keeping everyone at a distance. "Maybe I can help. I can see visions of the past with my power. If Warren helps me, I might be able to see more of what happened."

"That is a wonderful idea," I say. "Thank you Carla!"

Warren springs into action. "Okay Carla, what I want you to do is to think about this as you are going to sleep. Think about Ryos. Why did he change his name to Rogue? Why does he think he killed Kaze? When did his personality change? Why doesn't Seb remember him at all, and how has Violet's memory been changed? I am going to guide your thoughts as you are sleeping, and I will be there to see them too, so that you don't have to remember everything. Are you ready?"

Wendy tucks Carla into a sleeping bag. "I am so proud of you Carla," she says, and kisses her on the forehead. "Good night!"

Wendy, Seb, Frosch and I all sit in anticipation and worry until finally Warren let's go of Carla's hand. "She is just sleeping now. It's done."

I am so worried that a lump in my throat keeps me from asking.

"What did you see?" Asks Seb for me.

"Ryos was determined to get stronger. He changed his name to Rogue and trained with Gajeel, determined to beat him. He had a lacrima implanted. After that he got more and more callous and cared about nothing but power and winning. One day he decided he was strong enough to go visit Violet. He turned into shadow form and sped along the ground. By the time he got there he had a strange look in his eye. 'I have other plans for Ryos, girl.' He said, and knocked Seb out with a shadow punch, then put his shadow hand into Violet's head. She screamed out and then fell asleep. He returned to the guild but was acting so differently that his friends confronted him. That's when he got angry and left."

"And left Fro behind too!" added the cute green exceed. I pick him up to give him a hug.

"It sounds like someone was controlling him, someone with a power similar to yours maybe." I muse.

"Or that it has something to do with the lacrima?" Wendy adds.

"Well, we'll find out when he gets here. Let's get some sleep." Warren makes a bed for Wendy next to Carla. "Good night Wendy-Chan."

"Good night senpai."
