I've realized that I am certainly not making it any easier for anyone to understand what's going on in the story by adding in those author's notes in the last couple chapters. I also had to change something else so, yeah, just stick with me here, because I've gone and deleted those old author's notes and I'm getting my final points through in one part.

1. The Sanders Sides, in this particular fanfiction, are not human beings, but they are real.

2. Their actions do affect Thomas.

3. The rooms will not affect other sides unless the owning side is emotionally unstable or the entering person is not welcome. So for example, say Virgil's having an anxiety attack and Roman walks in, the room will affect Roman. Say Patton and Logan are fighting and Logan tries to go in Patton's room, Logan, being unwelcome in the room, will be affected. I like this new change because it actually does work technically the same way the rooms do in Sanders Sides videos.

4. The Sanders Sides, being real in this story, now do have real pasts. I'm done saying that their pasts are imaginary, because now they're not. Enough said about that.

5. Yes, Thomas can create new sides in this story. He was born with Virgil, Roman, Patton, and Logan, but he can add more sides if he really wanted to and really tried.

6. Pretend that Roman never mentioned the 'others' in the Accepting Anxiety pt. 2 video. You'll see why later.

7. Finally, I've realized there is really only one hint as to when this story takes place, that hint being the fact that Virgil is called Virgil and not Anxiety. So I officially say now that the day the curse was placed on Roman and Virgil, the day this story started, was Sunday, January 7, 2018.
