A.N. About Chapter Three
Ok so there were a couple things in chapter three that I just really wanted to clarify. For starters: My breathing became ragged, and the next thing I knew I was in my room, curled up in a ball on top of my bed. The realization that I had gone numb kicked in as I stood and looked around. Ok, I'm in my room, I'm by myself, my door is locked.. I continued onward for a minute or so, making myself fully aware of my surroundings. At last I felt a bit more secure and relaxed, sitting back down on my bed and checking my phone. For any of you confused by my choice of words, this clarification is for you.
Going numb is like your body is there but you are not, but it's not like a normal numb, it's brought on by anxiety, depression, and sometimes stress. Obviously, considering anxiety is different for everyone, this may be an inaccurate representation of describing Virgil's numbness and how he deals with it. This is entirely based off of my own experiences with going numb and dealing with it afterwards.
About the fact that the leg would heal in one singular day. Ok so, it's the Mind, and the Sides aren't even necessarily human beings, so naturally they are going to heal far differently than we do. And yes, for those who know the difficulties of writing and have already guessed it, it is partially because I don't have experience with broken bones and casts and I don't feel like writing about something I have literally zero experience with. Oh and here's a picture of the cast I envisioned:
So yeah, basically what Virgil described it as; from the thigh to the toes. I'm sure there was some more realistic cast option but lets face it, I'm no doctor and I know pretty much nothing about casts, so a long leg cast is what we're just gonna be stuck with.
So about Virgil snapping his fingers and the room being fixed. The idea I (and many others) had was that the Side owning the room, who in this case is Virgil, can do whatever they want to it with their mind. They could change its size, shape, color, furniture, pretty much anything that is a part of the room.
Lastly, for those of you out there who *pauses and drops to a whisper* don't listen to Panic! At The Disco *a few readers gasp*, for my fellow lovers of this band who just haven't heard the song, or for the people who just really like it, here is Far Too Young To Die, the song Virgil listened to and sang towards the end of chapter three.

Far Too Young To Die will appear again in the story. I found that the lyrics fit the story very well and I now consider it to be something along the lines of a theme song.
