Chapter one
A few hours later, Raelynn started to wake up slowly. Feeling cold, she shivered and wrapped her arms around herself. While starting to wake up, she saw her other friends pass out and saw an old college friend standing at the large windows, trying to get a good look outside.
Getting up and still cold, she walked up to the person and realized it was Dorian Black. While standing with him, she realized the windows were blackened and you couldn't see anything outside.
"Dorian, is everything all right?" Raelynn asks her friend.
"I don't know. Everything is different now," Dorian answers Raelynn.
"What do you mean?"
"Well, I have two half-sisters and I found my father, so that's a little weird, plus I have my friends here in a shopping mall because of me since I'm a danger to everyone."
Raelynn was confused about what Dorian meant and was now scared. She doesn't remember the old Dorian anymore, and now the new Dorian scares her. Feeling Raelynn's scared presence, Dorian wrapped his arms around Raelynn so she wouldn't feel so scared. A few seconds later, Dorian released her and looked her in the eyes.
"I'm sorry I did this to you."
"Dorian, could you explain what is going on?"
"It's complicated."
"What do you mean complicated? We are in a deserted shopping mall, and the windows are blackened, and our friends haven't woken up yet."
"They are now."
Raelynn turned around and saw her friends waking up. When she saw Zion, she ran into his arms, hugging him to death, as she had no idea how he got here. Then, when she saw Kane, Alisha, Evie, and Dillon, Raelynn was confused. How did Alisha and Evie get here? She had thought they had traveled somewhere, but now they were here.
"How did you guys get here?" Raelynn asks the five of them.
"Alisha and I were in Florida, hanging out at night until we saw a man appear out of nowhere, and bam, we passed out and woke up here," Evie explains to her.
"What about you, Zion? What happened to you and Dillon?"
"We were just hanging out at a bar, and when we were about to leave, the same man that Evie mentioned happened to us," Zion answered Raelynn.
Raelynn looked over at Kane, but he was currently talking to Sabrina, and they were nowhere near hearing length as they talked. A few minutes later, Sabrina and Kane came back from their talk and needed to hear what Dorian was about to say.
"Guys," Dorian says to everyone, "this is my fault. I am going to get us out of this."
"What is this?" Zion asks Dorian.
"This place we are in is not the shopping mall; we are in a dimension called the Viele Dimension, but we are on the abandoned island of the Dark Ages, previously called Paradise Island."
"We are on an island?" Sabrina says, her voice slowly growling.
"Hey, calm down, Sabrina. I know I got us in this mess."
"You have no idea how pissed off I am, Dorian."
"I am sorry, Sabrina."
"I can't wait to get my hands on witchcraft again."
Everyone looks at Sabrina, shocked at what she said.
"What? A girl can't do witchcraft." Sabrina retorts.
Raelynn rolls her eyes in annoyance. That was when mini dinosaurs appeared out of nowhere, and they started to freak out. Then two creatures that looked like humanoid lizards chased after Zion, Sabrina, Kane, and Raelynn, while a Tyrannosaurus rex chased after Alisha, Evie, Dillon, and Dorian as they ran out from the mall and into the thick, dark forest. While the t-rex was busy with those four, the others were scared out of their minds and did not know what to do until Raelynn had a plan.
Giving them signals to run into a dark shop, Raelynn distracted the lizards running for her life into the unknown mall, and after a few minutes of running, she had to catch her breath. That was when she sensed shadowy figures near her. Turning around, she shrieked so loudly that the lizards covered their ears and ran off.

Previously, after they were knocked out,
"Are the subjects ready for the trials?" Mr. Ackerman asked as he fixed his tie properly, as he eventually walked over towards the double-paned glass window, eyeing the sleeping figures on the marble floor of an empty mall.
"No, sire," one of his men answer.
"Shall we wake them up to get started for their trial?" the control man asked curiously, his hand almost touching the green button, ready to gas them to wake them up. Beside the green button was a red button to release the creatures Mr. Ackerman created, and he did not want them to be released yet.
"Not yet. Not until the creatures are still and ready for the chase," Mr. Ackerman responded as he looked at the subjects on the floor. He quickly disappeared into thin air with the snap of his fingers and reappeared in front of the lying subjects on the ground. Putting in microchips in six of the subjects, he then disappeared and reappeared in the control room.
"Now you can," Mr. Ackerman tells the control man, in which he presses the green button, releasing the cure for them to wake up. After a few seconds, as they were waking up, Mr. Ackerman got startled to see his son looking into the dark window as he stood in front of his son.
A few seconds after his son startled him, he saw the girl named Raelynn waking up and walking up to Dorian. He had no idea what they were saying, but once everyone was up, he looked at the control man, and the man pressed the red button, releasing the mini dinosaurs and eventually the three creatures.

Now...
As both groups were split up, that was when Raelynn decided to get everyone back together. Just as she and her group walked out of the mall, that was when they were all trampled by the other group. Everyone groaned and eventually got up when Raelynn saw a large mark on Dorian's face.
"Dorian, are you alright?"
"I got scratched by a mean ass velociraptor, but I'm good."
"Are you sure? It's still slightly red."
Evie went up to Dorian and touched his wound. Suddenly, the wound healed but left a nasty scar.
"H-how-?" Raelynn started but was cut off by Evie.
"I don't know."
"I know," a voice startles them all.
They all turned to a tall man, and Dorian growled at him, but the man just ignored him.
"Will you stop growling, Dorian?" the man asks Dorian.
Everyone turned to Dorian, and Dorian didn't know what to say. He didn't want to say a word because he knew it was his father, Tyrant Ackerman. No one knew it was Mr. Ackerman, and when he put down his trench hood, Raelynn had no choice but to grab her gun from her holster from behind her shirt, aiming it at Mr. Ackerman.
"What the fuck do you want from us?" Raelynn says, gritting her teeth.
"Feisty, aren't you?" Mr. Ackerman says this with a grin on his face.
"Shut up," she growls.
Raelynn clicks her gun, which was fully loaded, and is willing to kill Tyrant at any moment. That was when her hand quivered as Raelynn suddenly flashed back from her past, remembering a time when she was only sixteen. Not forgetting a moment of what had happened, she remembers shooting a man in the leg because he was trying to hurt her and shot him in self-defense, lucky to be alive from her father's training in firearms for good reason.
"Why did you put that in my head?" Raelynn growls at Tyrant, coming out of her flashback.
"I didn't do anything. That was you," he says to her.
Trying to hold her anger in, Raelynn didn't know what to do. Her hand was shaking a bit as she held the gun in her hand, and a few seconds later, she put the gun back into her holster.
"You're lucky you are not dead," she Snarks.
Dorian looks at his father as if he needs something. Tyrant looked back at Dorian, then at Raelynn, and knew something was between them but didn't talk about it. Dead silence was between everyone until Tyrant spoke.
"Raelynn, Dorian, I need you to come with me."
"For what for?" Dorian asks his father.
"You will see."
As Raelynn held her hand on her holster, Dorian spoke silently to her to calm down, as he wasn't going to hurt either of them. She did so in return so she wouldn't kill his only father, but she had a feeling something wasn't right with Dorian. She didn't know what it was, but she could sense it within him.
While walking behind Tyrant, Raelynn felt uneasy and could feel something was around them. Dorian couldn't feel it, but Raelynn could, and she nudged him to look around. Dorian shrugged it off until he heard the leaves rustle around them.
"Mr. Ackerman," he says to his father, "what is around us?"
"Oh, don't worry about them. They won't hurt you unless I tell them to," Tyrant answers.
"Who is they?" Raelynn asks.
"The lizards who tried to kill you," Tyrant answers her.
Raelynn's eyes widen, not knowing what to say. Minutes later, they arrive at concrete stairs, and walking up the stairs, they come up to a mansion hidden by many trees. When Tyrant opened the doors of his mansion, both of them gasped in shock at how beautiful the interior of the mansion was.
