Chapter five

As the group was talking about Dorian before he came back, they realized that when he returned from the talk with his father, they had no idea what they should talk about, and Sabrina accepted the fact that she couldn't use her powers to hear what they were saying because Dorian threatened her to keep it out of his mind. However, when he was getting close, Raelynn had the idea to talk about their lives back on earth and what they were doing out of college since they had all graduated.

While the group talked, Dorian felt something odd, and when he looked around his friends, he felt a presence somewhere off in the distance.

"Is something wrong, Dorian?" Dillon asks with concern.

"I feel something is watching us," Dorian answers.

"What do you mean?"

"I don't know what or who it is, but something is watching us, and I have a bad feeling."

"Should we figure out what's out there?"

"No, it's too dangerous, and splitting up again would be bad enough. I don't want anyone to get lost here. Heck, I don't know why, but I feel like I belong here."

"That's because you do belong here," Sabrina says with a scoff.

"What is that supposed to mean?" Dorian asks her.

"You're literally a walking dinosaur. You can shapeshift into a freaking dinosaur, and it all freaks us out. Heck, it scares Raelynn. No wonder she's scared of you. You're a freak."

"Sabrina!" Raelynn scolds her.

"What? You told me yourself."

"I fucking can't believe you, Sabrina."

"Calm down, girl; I'm just telling the truth."

"You seriously are a piece of sh*t."

"Wow, thanks, Rae," she responded sarcastically, putting her hands at her heart.

"Will you two knock it off?" Dillon demanded both girls with an angry tone.

All of a sudden, Dillon's hands blew up in flames. He tried to get them to die down, but it was useless. Everyone was shocked at what just happened. While Dillon did not know what to do, the flames on the palms of his hands were growing, and everyone feared him because the fire could burn someone's flesh, and that would be bad. Everyone backed away from Dillon because of the fire. That was when Raelynn realized that Dillon had gained his powers because he was angry with both her and Sabrina.

"Dillon, calm down!" Raelynn yells at him.

"How can I?!" he yells back at her.

"Just calm the fuck down!"

All of a sudden, with the urge of calmness coming from Rae, the flames of fire died down on Dillon's hands, and he was shocked at what just happened. A few seconds later, Dorian felt the same presentation again and wanted to find out who was stalking them, but before he could do that, Raelynn touched his shoulder, and he nearly hit her.

"I'm so sorry, Raelynn," he apologizes, putting his arm down.

"Don't be. You're just upset," Raelynn comforts him.

"More than upset."

"What do you mean?"

"Someone is watching us, and I'm scared as shit. I can feel their damn presence, and it's annoying the hell out of me. I need to find them and confront them to stop."

"I don't think that's a good idea. If you don't know who they are, it's not worth doing something stupid. Heck, yes, you did scare me, but you also saved us. I'm not as scared now. I understand what you are going through."

"It's not what I'm going through. Something's out there, Raelynn."

"Dorian, it could be anything out there."

"This anything is bothering me."

"Dorian, please, don't go out there. It's not worth it. Plus, we need to stick together."

"I agree with Raelynn, Dorian," Zion says, laying a comforting hand on her shoulder.

"It's not your conversations to butt it, Zion. So back off, dumbass."

"I'm allowed to have a say, Dorian. Stop being such a jackass."

"How about you two stop?" Raelynn intervenes before a fight breaks out.

"Fine, but Zion better not come near me again."

"That's fine with me," Zion says to him.

Before Zion left the two alone, Raelynn heard him say, "Adios, hijo de puta," and she was not happy with him saying that. Even as things were getting weirder and weirder, Dorian could feel the presence close by, and he had no idea what to do. He didn't want to alarm Raelynn, but before he could look up in the trees, the presence went away.

"What the fuck?" he mutters.

"What is it?" Raelynn asks.

"Whoever is out there, they are stalking us, and it's making me uncomfortable."

"I bet so. Let's get back to the others."

"Agreed."

As they went back to the group, the presence Dorian felt was closer, and he finally had enough and screamed at whoever would stop stalking them, while the others were just as confused. Raelynn knew that whoever was annoying Dorian made him quite bothersome. All of a sudden, a beautiful woman appeared out of nowhere.
