A week into the new semester and inside of the library at Beacon, team RWBY were sat at a table playing a table top game against one another with Obito and Sapphire giving support to Weiss and Ruby

Ruby: Yang Xiao Long, prepare your kingdom for battle!

Yang: Bring it on!

Ruby: I deploy, the Atlesian Air Fleet!

She places a card with a picture of a fleet of airships on the game board

Yang:*gasp*

Ruby: Looks like I get to fly right over your Ursai and attack your walls directly!

Ruby puts her hands together in a bird motion and makes airplane sounds, flapping her hands together

Ruby: Obito, prepare to launch the missiles!

Obito:*salute* Yes, Commander Ruby!

Yang: You fiend!

Ruby: And since Atlas is part of Mantle, my repair time only lasts..one turn.

Obito: A brilliant strategy Commander!

Yang: Hehehehe...pretty sneaky sis, but you just activated my trap card!

Yang shows her card which was a picture of a Giant Nevermore

Ruby: Whaaaaaat!

Yang: Giant Nevermore!

Yang slams her fist on the table, knocking over every piece on the board

Yang: If I roll a seven or higher, Fatal Feathers will slice your fleet in two!

Ruby: But, if you roll a six or lower, your Neverm will turn on your own forces!

Yang: That's just a chance I'm willing to take.

Weiss and Sapphire stood there slightly cringing at the sisters overdramatic attitudes during the game

Team JNPR was sitting at a table nearby where Ren was doing notes and Nora was laying on his book mumbling in her sleep while Jaune was reading a comic book until Pyrrha took it from him and replaced it with and actual book and she read the comic

Ruby: Noooo! My fearless soldiers!

Yang: Eh, most of them were probably androids.

Ruby: Goodbye my friends....

Obito: They will be avanged...

Yang: Not until I draw my rewards, which are doubled this round, thanks to the Mistral trade route!

Ruby: Bah!

Yang: Oh and what's this? The Smugglers of Wind Path!?

Ruby: BAH! BAH, I SAY!

Yang: Looks like I'm taking these two cards from your hand.

Obito: HAVE YOU NO HEART!?

Ruby and Obito wallow in their defeat while Yang sits there smiling, reaping her rewards from her victory

Yang: Well, your turn Weiss!

Weiss: I have.... absolutely no idea what's going on.

Sapphire: Well, you do have that spot in Vacuo and you have Vacuo cards and that means your cards get a power boost because they're in their home kingdom.

Weiss: That sounds dumb.

Sapphire: But you do have Sandstorm, Desert Scavenge, and Resourceful Raider-

Yang: Resourceful Raider!? You could steal Ruby's discarded air fleet--!

Ruby: Nooo..!

Obito pats Ruby's back while she has her emotional breakdown on the table

Yang: --and out it in your hand!

Sapphire: Oh, okay I see! And since Vacuo warriors get an endurance boost against natural hazards, you can use Sandstorm to disable Yang's ground forces and--

Yang: You could infiltrate my kingdom!

Yang gets a little serious and points her finger at her teammate

Yang: Just know, that I will not forget this  declaration of war.

Sapphire: We will annihilate your forces and take your kingdom and it's resources..! Was that too dramatic?

Yang: Perfect~!

Weiss: So that means...?

Ruby:*sobbing* You're just three moves away from conquering Remnant!

The sudden realization that she was going to win overtook Weiss like a flash flood and she stood up cackling like a maniac

Weiss: YES! FEAR THE ALMIGHTY POWER OF MY FORCES!

Sapphire: She's lost it.~ I kinda like it. Wait, brain no! Get your mind out of the gutter!~

Weiss: COWER AS THEY PILLAGE YOUR HOMES AND WEEP AS WE TAKE YOUR CHILDREN FROM YOUR ARMS--!

Sapphire: Wait what?

Yang: Trap card.

Weiss: Huh?

Yang quicky swaps around the pieces on the board and smiles at another victory

Yang: Your armies have been destroyed.

Weiss sobs and sinks to her seat in defeat

Sapphire: Oh thank goodness, the scourge is over.

Weiss: I hate this game of emotions we play!

Ruby sped over and sat herself in Weiss' arms and hugged her in her time of crisis

Ruby: Stay strong Weiss, we'll make it through this together!

Weiss: Shut up! Don't touch me!

Despite her words, Weiss hugs Ruby in her arms and Sapphire savors the moment by taking a picture of them hugging

Sapphire: Nice~

Yang:*chuckle* Alright Blake, you're up!

Not paying attention until she heard her name being called, Blake picked up her cards and re-entered the game

Blake: Huh? Oh! Umm......Sorry what am I doing?

Yang: You're playing as Vale, trying to conquer the kingdoms of Remnant!

Blake: Right...

Jaune gets up from his table and walks over to team RWBY's table after hearing the commotion from it

Jaune: Hey! Can I play?

Ruby: Sorry Jaune, we already got four people.

Weiss: Besides, this game requires a certain level of tactical cunning that I seriously doubt you possess.

Sapphire: Uh...you attacked your own naval fleet two turns ago.

Weiss: Hmph! Some general you are Sapphire! Not helping your commander.

Sapphire: You're the one giving out the orders. I just follow them.

Jaune: Bring it on, Ice Queen! I'll have you know, that I've been told that I'm a natural born leader!

Sapphire: By who? Your mom?

Jaune: And Pyrrha!

Pyrrha:*waves* Hello again!

Obito:*waves* Hey Pyrrha!

Jaune: Come on! Let me play you a hand for a turn.

Weiss: I'm not trusting you with the good citizens of Vacuo!

Jaune: Why not!? You've trusted me with more important stuff before! I mean you told us all that Blake is secretly a Fau-

Pyrrha jumps out of her chair at light speed and covers Jaune's mouth with her hand laughing over what he was about to say

Pyrrha: Fun-loving person whom we all admire and respect!

Obito: Phew! Saved it.

Jaune looks over at Blake who was glaring daggers at him almost revealing her secret

Jaune: R-right...that. Ladies.... enjoy your battle.

Jaune bows and leaves the table before he almost reveals another secret

Sun: Sup losers!

Team RWBY as well with Sapphire and Obito, turn and see Sun had suddenly arrived with a blue haired boy beside him

Ruby: Hey Sun!

Sun: Ruby, Yang, Blake, Ice Queen...

Weiss: Why does everyone keep calling me that!?

Sapphire: We're here too.

Sun: I... don't know you two. Sorry

Obito: I'm Obito! Team leader! And that's Sapphire and..Dante and Dominic are...*sigh* Doing what they do best...

Sun: And that is?

All: Fighting.

Sun: Well...I never got to introduce you to my old friend.

???: Uhh... aren't libraries for reading?

Ren: Thank you!

Nora:*snort* Pancakes!

Sapphire: Not for these girls. Except Blake.

Blake: I.. don't know if that's a compliment or an insult.

Obito: With Sapphire, it's hard to tell.

Sapphire frowns and throws a game piece at Obito, hitting him on the head

Obito: Ow!

Sun: Don't be a nerd dude.

???: Ah ah ah! Intellectual. Okay. Thank you. I'm Neptune.

Weiss: So Neptune, where are you from?

Neptune: I'm from Haven..

Neptune saunters over to Weiss and gets in between Sapphire and Weiss

Neptune: And...I don't believe I caught your name, snow angel.

Weiss: Uh.. I'm Weiss. And this is Sapphire.

Sapphire:*wave* Yo.

Neptune: Oh, sorry man I didn't see you there.

Sapphire: No one ever does..

Sun: I never took you for the boardgame playing type.

Blake: Right.... actually I'm done playing.

Blake sets her cards down and gets up from her chair

Blake: I'll see you guys later.

Sapphire: Yeah, I should go and stop the idiots before they get our team in trouble again.

Neptune: The idiots?

Weiss: The brothers on Sapphire and Obito's team. They argue constantly like an old married couple.

Sapphire: No, an old married couple still lives each other even if they argue.

Sapphire gets up and pats Weiss on the head before leaving

Obito: Hey make sure what they're arguing about is actually worth arguing for!

Sapphire: You know it isn't!

Obito sighs and leans back in his seat lamenting over his teammates and their constant arguments

Sapphire: Blake, wait up!

Blake turns around and stops for Sapphire who runs up beside her

Sapphire: Sorry for the scare, mind if I walk with you?

Blake: Uh, sure.

Sapphire: Thanks.

The two of them walk through the halls of Beacon together

Sapphire: So what's been bothering you?

Blake: It's nothing.

Sapphire: Really? Because you've been distracted all day today. You know you can talk to your teammates or us. And I'm right here.

Blake: Thanks Sapphire. It's just.... it's nothing.

Sapphire: Okay then. But remember, I'm here, your team is here, your friends..are here.

Sapphire pats Blake on the back and leaves her by herself. Down the hall and Sapphire comes up to the training hall where the sounds of battle can be heard from inside. Sighing, he opens and door and sees his teammates yet again fighting over who knows what this time.

Dante: Huah!

Dante kicks his brother square in the chest, knocking the wind out of his lungs giving him the opportunity to go in for a quick combo of slashes to the body and he finishes it off by bashing away Dominic with a sideways slash to the body

Dominic: Gaaaugh!!

Dante: You know damn well that tub of chocolate ice cream in the freezer was mine!

Dominic:*grunt* I.. don't know what you're talking about Dante! I never even ate any ice cream!

Dante: Don't lie to me brother! You love chocolate as much as I do!

Dominic: Even if I did eat your precious ice cream, I would not leave it in the freezer!

Dante: Aha!

Dante points the tip of Rebellions blade to his brothers chest

Dante: How would you know if it was empty unless you were the one who left it in there!?

Dominic: Because I'm not a slob like you Dante! I throw away my trash! But every time I tried to throw you away, you always come back like a dumb puppy!

Dante: Oh yeah!? You wanna see what this puppy can do!?

A pair of feet came into contact with Dante's face and he was send flying across the room

Sapphire:*sigh* I knew you two were fighting over something idiotic. But this? It's low for you Dom.

Dominic: Stay out of this!

Sapphire: No! Because it's every day with you two! And this idiotic sibling rivalry ends now!

Dante:*groan* You almost did....that drop kick almost killed me..!

Dante winces in pain and stretches his limbs, the sounds of them snapping back into place rang out slightly

Dominic: You make it sound like you have the ability to force us to stop.

Sapphire: I do.

Dominic:*stands* No...you don't.

Dominic picks up Yamato and places it back to his side and stares down Sapphire who looked at him with his own icy glare

Sapphire: You really gonna fight me just to prove you're better than me?

Dominic: I am better than you.

Sapphire: Prove it.

Dominic goes in to attack Sapphire but a bullet whizzed past his face nearly hitting his nose

Dante: I'm still in this fight. I was gonna enjoy that damn ice cream. But this.... this'll do.

Sapphire: A two on one? That's not fair.

Dante shakes his head and holsters his guns on his back and places Rebellion behind him

Dante: Free for all. We'll see who's ideals are right from the one who's last left standing.

Sapphire: Hmph. Fine.

Sapphire places his weapon on his belt and Dominic takes his hand off of his sword. The three take ten pases back from each other and lower their hands down beside them.

Dante: 3....2....1...DRAW!

Dante pulled out Ebony and Ivory as quickly as lightning could strike and fired off multiple rounds

Dominic drew Yamato from its scabbard and deflect the bullets

Sapphire spun around and dodged the bullets and then turned his weapons hilt into a small shield that he used to protect his body from the bullets

Dante turns his body and focuses both his guns on Dominic, completely ignoring Sapphire who ran across the perimeter of the arena while Dante tried to shoot his brother full of led but Dominic's reflexes allowed him to deflect each bullet

Sapphire: Haaa!!

Sapphire threw his shield at Dante who spun around and shot the shield out of the air, but Sapphire used his distraction to slide across the floor creating a pathway of ice and he throws both feet up at Dante who leaned back and dodged the attack

Dominic: Fools!!

Looking up, they saw that Dominic had leaped into the air and was down descending towards them both. Dante aimed at Dominic, using him being in the air to his advantage but Sapphire punched him in the chest and sent him back a few feet. Dante then pulled up one arm and fires shots at Sapphire who raised his arm and creates a pillar of ice that blocks the bullets

Dominic lands on the ice pillar Sapphire created and he shouts before he slams his fist down on it, shattering it into pieces

Sapphire runs back for his weapon and dives for it and turns around to block a heavy slice from Dominic

Dominic: Weak! Puny! Insignificant speck!

Sapphire: Arrogant! Pompous! Bastards!

Sapphire kicks in Dominic's leg making him shout in pain and fall to the floor. Using this chance, Sapphire gets on top of Dominic and raised his shield above his head and was about to bring it down on his neck if not for Dante dropkicking him in the face

All three boys pant on the floor and they grab their weapons and stand right back up to continue their fight with one another

Dante grins and puts away his guns and draws his sword, letting the blade hit the ground cracking it

Sapphire turns his once shield into a curved longsword and spins it around his body until he gets in a combat stance

Dominic grabs Yamato in both hands and gets in his own sword stance.

Dante: Let's rock!

All three boys yell and charge at each other and put all their might into a slash that brought each of their swords to meet and create sparks but also a ripple effect that creates a shockwave of energy that sends them all flying away from each other, disarming them of their weapons

Dante:*grunt* What the..hell!?

Sapphire:*cough* Rakshasa...you...how?

Dominic: More questions....for another time...but now.... it's time for me to have some fun~

A set of blue swords appeared above Sapphire and Dante. Their eyes go wide and they look over at Dominic to see him smiling at them both and chuckling darkly

Dominic: Say goodbye!!

One by one, the swords fell towards them and they would have been skewered if they hadn't moved out of the way fast enough.

Dante kicked himself up to his feet and Sapphire pushes himself back up. The two watching as Dominic slowly rises to his feet smiling as he fixes his hair that had fallen down over his eyes

Dominic: Come on..!

With a wave of his hand, he surrounded his body by a circle of swords that rotated around him

Dominic: It takes a lot of concentration to do all this. So why don't you both just stand still....AND DIE!!

More swords were created and they flew at Dante and Sapphire. They ran around the arena trying to grab their weapons but a sword would appear and try to slicd their arm and it would a few times but nothing severe

Sapphire: Alright! I'm putting an end to this!

Sapphire throws his fist into the air and then slams it back down sending a wave of ice with ice crystals popping out of the ground as the wave spreads out from the perimeter of the arena

Dante: Shit!

Dante rolls over Ebony and Ivory and he jumps over the wall of freezing mist and lands on one of the ice crystals

Dante: Damn..! Where are they?

The arena was coated in a cold fog that covered the floor of the arena leaving the only place to see would be above it

A quick flash of light came from the bottom and then again in another area. Sparks. Coming from Dominic and Sapphire fighting from inside the fog. Suddenly they both leaped from the fog covered in cuts that immediately started regenerating. They land on their own crystals and sat there panting

Dante: Bout time you showed up!

Sapphire: You know...you two are always freaking arguing! And yet you're brothers, why?

Dante: Feh! Why? There's no reason why. I just don't like him.

Dominic: Yes, we absolutely despise each other. It's been that way for years. Ever since we were children.

Dante: Good times...

Sapphire: Well as much as I'd love to hear about your dysfunctional family dynamic, I think it's about time we-

Dominic: Ended this...

The twins got in their fighting stance while Sapphire decided to put on a little extra spice to his weapon by transforming it into a long scythe and dipping the blade into the fog, coating the black shadow blade into a frost blade

Dante: Cool

Dominic: That pun sure wasn't.

Dante: Better than Yang's.

Sapphire: For once we agree on something.

Rebellion began to glow a dark hue of red as Dante channels his energy through his sword. Dante swings rebellion horizontally, throwing a wave of energy at Sapphire that he jumped over and sent his own wave of ice at him

Dante backflipped over the attack and landed on a crystal behind him

Dominic gripped Yamato in his hand and locked his eyes onto Sapphire. Suddenly space began to warp around Sapphire confusing him but when a tear in his arm appears, he immediately leaps out of the area where the space was distorted

Dominic: Hmph. Most people don't dodge that in time. But that was only one, try four at an instant!

Sapphire leaps off of the crystal and hides under the cover of the fog on the floor

Dominic: Blast!

A gunshot rings and Dominic slices a bullet in two followed up by deflecting multiple shots from Dante across the room

Dante: Don't close your eyes!!

From under the fog, Sapphire begins to spin his scythe above his head funneling the fog around him and begun creating a tornado that had enough strength to pick up the twins and spin them around the arena

Dante aimed Ivory at Sapphire and shot a hole into his arm making him drop his weapon and disperse the heavy winds and dropping the twins to the floor with a heavy thud. Dante losing his guns in the process.

Dominic:*coughs*

Dante:*groan*

Sapphire:*holding his arm* Are we...are we done?

Dominic:*sighs* Yes... we're done.

Timeskip--

The trio were sitting in their dorm watching TV with packs of frozen peas on their joints

Dante:*groan* God that new reporter is so hot.

Dominic: Eh, there are prettier girls here.

Sapphire: Yeah.

The door behind them opens and Obito walks in waving to team RWBY after their game had ended and they were returning to their room

Obito: See ya guys! Night Yang, Blake, Weiss! S-see ya around Ruby! Y-you were a pretty good general! Hahaha!

Obito slams the door shut behind him and sighs, taking off his goggles and headband

Dante: S-s-s-so how was your d-d-d-date?

Obito: Huh?

Sapphire: D-Dante c-c-c-cut him some slack h-h-h-he's in l-l-l-love.

Dante and Sapphire laugh at Obito's awkwardness towards Ruby and the Uchiha crossed his arms and frowned with his face being bright red with embarrassment

Dominic: Leave the boy alone you two. If he's infatuated with Ruby then let him.

Obito: Thanks Dom! You see I always knew you were-

Dominic: It's not like she can date anyone else here.

Obito throws his goggles at the back of Dominic's head and goes into the bathroom

Dominic:*rubs his head* Ow.

Dominic's scroll buzzes in his pocket and he picks it up, reading the message sent to him

Dominic: Today was interesting but I must depart.

Dante: Again!? Bro who are you seeing at this hour!

Sapphire: What's her name? Or his name? Her?

Dominic: That doesn't matter because it doesn't involve either of you.

Dominic stands up and walks out of his dorm room and goes down the hall

Ruby: I'll be right back!

Ruby runs out of her room not looking where she was going and bumps into Emerald and falls to the floor on her bottom

Ruby: Oh, sorry!

Emerald extends her hand down towards the young leader of team RWBY

Emerald: It's fine. Just watch where you're going next time.

Ruby takes Emeralds hand and she gets up off the floor

Ruby: Oh....right....sorry. Uh..I'm Ruby! Are you...new?

Cinder: Visiting from Haven, actually.

Emerald steps aside for Cinder who walks in between her and Mercury and smiles looking down towards Ruby who was checking her out but smiled at the new arrivals

Ruby: Oooooh! You're here for the festival! OH, but exchange students have their own dormitory.

Emerald: We're meeting a friend here.

Ruby: Oh! Who?

Dominic: Ahem!

Ruby jumps up frightened by Dominic being behind her without her even hearing him come up

Ruby: Gyaaah! Dom! You scared me!

Dominic: My apologies. Emerald, Mercury, Cinder. It's so good to see you my friends.

Cinder smirks and walks up to Dominic and hugs her arm to his chest

Cinder: Oh it's so good to see you too Dominic. We have much to discuss back at our dorm~

Dominic: Then please, follow me.

Ruby stood there dumbfounded at what she saw and watched as Dominic and the three "exchange" students walked down the hall and out of sight

Ruby: No....way....

Taking in a deep breath, Ruby shrieks and starts running around the hallway and pounds on team ODDS door

Ruby: YOUGUYSYOUGUYSYOUGUYSYOUGUYSYOUGUYS!!!

Obito swings the door open and was met with Ruby smashing her fist in his face instead of the door and he was sent on his back holding his face

Ruby:*gasp* Obito! I'm so sorry!

Dante: Damn Red where's the fire!

Sapphire:*in a fireman outfit* Someone say fire?

Obito:*groan* I-it's fine Ruby..! Wh-what's up?

Ruby: Uhh...oh! Right! I figured out where Dominic goes every night finally!

Dante: You did!?

The rest of team RWBY and even JNPR peek their heads out from the doorway of team ODDS and shout in shock

JNPR/WBY: YOU DID!?

Ruby: Yeah! And it's sooo sweet! Dominic has......A GIRLFRIEND!!

Dante: HE WUUUUUT!?

Sapphire: No...way! I refuse to believe that! Nuh uh!

Ruby: Yuh huh!! She was all hugging him and they looked so cute!!

Jaune: I can't believe he got a girlfriend before I did!

Nora: We should throw a party!

Blake: For our friend having a girlfriend? That doesn't seem like it'd be a good theme for a party.

Nora: Yeah but...have you seen Dante?

Dante: What's that supposed to mean?

Dante puts his hands on his hips and raised an eyebrow at Nora's inference

Nora: Oh please! With your massive forehead and poor fashion style it's obvious why you don't get girls! But your brother at least wears a shirt!

Sapphire: Wow....roasted by the pancake girl.

Dante: Well.. it's not like they were kissing or anything!

Ruby: They could be!

Yang: With how many times Dominic has disappeared, I would doubt if there was more than kissing going on if you catch my drift~ Wink wink nudge nudge~

Obito: Like what?

Nora: Well they could be having se-!

Ren and Pyrrha immediately go and cover Nora's mouth before she could take away the childhood innocence of Obito and Ruby

Ruby: Se? What's se?

Blake: Uh..

Weiss: Se..eing the beautiful scenery of Vale together obviously! As couples do! Right everyone!? Ahahaha!!

Dante: Sorry red but I still find it hard to believe my brother, mister bookworm, could ever get a girlfriend.

Blake: What does being a bookworm have with being able to get a significant other?

Dante: Uh....w-well there's nothing really wrong with it....and uh...you know...uh...hehe...

Sapphire: We'd just like some proof he's actually in a relationship.

Ruby: Well I took a picture when they weren't looking!

Blake: Isn't that an invasion of their privacy?

Ruby: How else am I gonna get proof?

Ruby turns her scroll to its side and shows everyone a picture of Cinder holding onto Dominic's arm while she smiled at him

Dante: OH COME ON!!

Ruby: I told you!

Dante: And she's hot too!

Dante falls to his knees sobbing like Ruby had done during her game hours ago

Weiss: Well this has certainly been an eventful night but we must be off to bed.

Yang: Yeah, we got a big week ahead of us!

Ruby: Yeah! Bye guys!

Sapphire: See ya.

Obito tried to get a word out but just stood there and waved while looking at Ruby. His mind in la la land every time he sees her smile

Obito: Ehehe~ bye-bye Ruby~

Team RWBY and JNPR left team ODDS dorm room and shut the door behind them

Obito sighs and turns around and sees Sapphire giving him a smug smile

Obito: W-what?

Sapphire: Oh nothing...just waiting for you to make a move on her.

Obito: Huh!?

Sapphire: Obito a blind man can see you like her. Now, I may want to protect a cute and innocent girl like her because well...look at her. She doesn't know how bad it is out there.

Obito: Y-yeah....maybe someday but.....I'm just not ready.

Sapphire: Well when you are, you better make sure you're strong enough to protect her Obito. Like you said, you want to be the greatest huntsman ever.

Obito: I did. Yeah, I did! I will be the greatest huntsman ever! And the greatest boyfriend ever! In the future! Because I'm not ready to ask her out yet! Yeah!

Sapphire: Yeah! Now wash up, I'm making noodles.

Dante: Yeah, noodles night!

On the far end of Beacon, Dominic sat on the couch in Cinders dorm with Cinder in front of him with her hand on her hip

Cinder: So, your little friend seems very enthusiastic.

Dominic: She's but a child with no experience in reality. She believes in fantasies of heroes fighting evil. It's pathetic.

Mercury: Ouch. Pretty harsh man.

Cinder: Silence. How goes progress on your end "Vergil"?

Dominic: It's nearing it's end. Once we finalize everything, I will give you the signal and you will meet me at the base of the tower.

Emerald: And if someone sees us?

Dominic: You kill them. It's a very simple premise Emerald. And don't you forget it.

Cinder smiles at Dominic's coldness over his friends and walks over to him and places a hand on his face

Cinder: When ultimate power is ours, I'm going to show you what heaven feels like.

Dominic closes his eyes and moves his face away from Cinders touch making her scoff and cross her arms

Cinder: What? Are you afraid of a woman's touch?

Dominic: I don't like it. It reminds me of.....it doesn't matter. For when the tower rises, Vale...and anyone who gets in my way, will fall to my power. The power of Sparda.

Dominic's amulet hangs down around his neck and the gem glistens slightly as a book inside of team RWBY's dorm falls to the floor and spreads open revealing an image of a black knight standing before a veil of darkness with his sword drawn ready to do battle with it. The knights name was lost to time but his legend still lives on...in his twin sons
