The vault below Beacon was full of sounds of battle as Ozpin fought against both Cinder and Blair who attacked the old headmaster in unison using their abilities to overpower his own.

Blair: Such vigor for an old man! *licks her lips* Let's see how many rounds you last against us!!

The two women stand side by side, aiming their hands at Ozpin who charges his Aura for one final attack and charges at them as they fire a blast of fire and dark energy that collided with Ozpin and creates a blinding flash of light that illuminates the vault.

Outside, multiple airships landed outside of Beacon to pick up students and citizens taking refuge with Huntsmen guiding people safely on board.

Prof. Port: That's it! Everybody on board! This is a mandatory evacuation!

Dr. Oobleck: A safe zone has been established in Vale!

Ruby, having finally gotten to Beacon, runs up to Weiss who was looking down at something until she heard Ruby call out her name.

Ruby: Weiss!

Weiss: Ruby! I was so worried about you! Where have you-!

Ruby: Don't worry, I'm fine. What's going on?

Weiss couldn't look Ruby in the eye, let alone tell her what was happening and only turned to the side to let Ruby see Yang and Blake on the floor injured greatly with Yang missing an arm and Blake holding her side as it bled through the bandage. Blake holds Yang's hand as tears fell from her eyes with her telling Yang how sorry she was.

Ruby: Yang...

???: Hey...

Sun walks up to the group and spoke in a saddened tone.

Sun: They're gonna be okay. The soldiers have a ship that'll take you to Vale.

Nora: But Jaune and Pyrrha are still in there!

Sun: Look guys! That giant Grimm keeps circling the school and those demons are still out here. Even the White Fang are pulling out. We all have to go. NOW.

Ren: We're not..*grunt* leaving!

Ren tries to get up but his injuries cause him to sit back down from the pain.

Everyone goes quiet for a while until Ruby speaks up and tells Ren and Nora that she'll find their teammates and bring them back. Weiss then interjects and says that both of them will find them together.

Weiss: Watch after Blake and Yang. We'll be back.

The two run off towards Beacon together to save their friends as Zwei barks at them.

Sun: You better be! Urgh! What about Team ODDS? Where are they?

Ren:*grunt* Them? They're probably having the times of their lives right now.

Sun:*sigh* Let's hope they can end this craziness soon.

Jaune and Pyrrha both run out of Beacon after Ozpin had told them to run away and to never look back.

Jaune:*pant* Phew! Okay! I think I have Glynda's number.

Jaune goes off to the side and mumbles to himself as he searches for Glynda Goodwitch's number while Pyrrha looks back at Beacon until Jaune calls her name.

Jaune: Pyrrha? What was all of that?

Pyrrha: I-

The ground shook as inside, Pyrrha and Blair flew up to the top of the tower.

Jaune: But...Ozpin..

Pyrrha: There's no time...Go! Get to Vale. Call for help.

Jaune: Huh? What? What are you gonna do?

Pyrrha looks up to the top of Beacon Tower and Jaune begins to protest at the idea of leaving her to fight Cinder and Blair alone.

Jaune: No! No way! You saw how powerful they are! Pyrrha, I won't let you d-!

Pyrrha cuts off Jaune by pushing her lips onto his and staying there for a brief moment. She felt her heart beat faster every second their lips touched and looked at him as she broke the kiss.

Pyrrha: I'm sorry...

She pushes Jaune into a locker that was perched up against some rocks and locks him inside. Jaune pounds on the locker door, calling out her name as she looks at him tearfully as she types in coordinates on the pad and watches as the locker launches off towards Vale.

Pyrrha looks back at Beacon and runs inside and boards an elevator that Cinder had blown through to get to the top of the tower. She focused her mind and uses her Semblance to raise the elevator up.

In the courtyard, Weiss heard her Scroll ring and looks at it and sees Jaune's name on the caller ID and stops with Ruby and answers the call.

Weiss: Jaune? Where are you?

Jaune: Weiss! Please, you have to stop her!

Weiss: What?

Jaune: Pyrrha!! She's going after those women at the top of the tower! You have to stop her!

Weiss: Jaune, what are you talking about? Where are you?!

Jaune: DON'T WORRY ABOUT ME!!!

Jaune's outburst shocked Weiss and Ruby greatly as they've never heard Jaune like this before.

Jaune: Please...you have to save her...

Weiss: We will. Are you okay?

Jaune shouts and smashes his Scroll onto the ground before falling to his knees and sobbing from Pyrrha's decision to go and fight alone.

Weiss: Jaune?

The giant Grimm flies above Beacon, dropping the black bile that spawned more and more Grimm from it. Both girls take out their weapons, ready to fight through all of the Grimm to get to Pyrrha and save her.

Ruby: I have a plan...

Weiss: You always do.

Sapphire gasped and his eyes shot open and scanned the crater he was in. With no time to question his current situation, Sapphire crawled out of the crater and looked around for anyone.

Sapphire: Dom! Obito! Hey, where-?

His eyes land onto Dominic who was sat down up against a broken pillar holding Obito's body in his arms.

Sapphire: No, Obito!

A sense of dread flushed into Sapphire's heart as he prayed in his head for Obito to be okay. But he knew all too well that Obito was dead and gone. His leader, the one of many few friends he's made at Beacon, dead.

Dominic was sat there silent, staring at his best friend and leader while he held his body in his arms. Yet again a loved one dies because he was too weak to do anything to protect them.

Dominic: .....

Sapphire: Who...?

Dominic looks up at Sapphire who was knelt down on his knees with his hands clenched tightly in the dirt while trying to keep everything bottled up inside as best he can.

Sapphire: Who...is responsible...for this?!

The half demon says nothing and only points at Beacon Tower where Bludgeon was seen slowly flying up towards the very top as the Grimm Dragon latches onto the side of the tower and let's out a roar.

Sapphire: AAH!

Sapphire let out a loud scream as he punched a small crater into the ground

Sapphire: He...is going...to PAY!

Sapphire gripped the small pendant he made out of the destroyed pieces of his original weapon Rakshasa that Bludgeon had destroyed during their time at Temen-Ni-Gru.

Dominic: All my life I've never been strong enough to save the ones I love. It's my fault that Ruby lost a mother. And now....she's lost the one she was supposed to grow old with....Because of my weakness!

A hand was placed on Dominic's shoulder and he looks up to see Sapphire in front of him with his head down.

Sapphire: ...*sniff* Do you think...do you think that he would want you to sit here crying like a baby?

Dominic: I can't do it. He...he's too strong. I can't-!

Sapphire: Bullshit! After all this crap about how great you are and how much of a better warrior you are than the rest of us! Now is the time you decide to drop the act?! Pathetic!

Sapphire's words cut deep into Dominic and he stood up with Obito's body still held in his arms. He then shoots a glare at the dirt beside them, blasting a hole into the ground with a burst of power from his eyes before setting Obito's body inside. He then removes Obito's headband and goggles and lays the goggles on his chest, playing his arms across them.

Sapphire watches from behind and sees Dominic pocket Obito's headband before dragging dirt into the hole, burying Obito in an unmarked grave outside of Beacon before standing up and let's out everything he had inside of his heart towards the sky where he knew Obito was watching them all from above.

Dominic: No words can express how much you've changed my life, Obito. You were....my brother. Thank you. May you look down on us all and smile as I take my vengeance upon that skull-faced devil and pry his dead corpse from his armor.

Sapphire stepped up beside Dominic and held his head low as he began to say his piece.

Sapphire: ...Obito, I will admit that I thought nothing of you when we first met. *smile* But over time you became to be someone I considered family as I helped and watched you grow stronger. *growl* Which is why I won't rest until the bastard that took your life is nothing but a soul to crush within my hands...

Sapphire tore the pendant off his neck and looked at the broken sword handle in his hand.

Sapphire: I guarantee, to our last breath, Bludgeon will fall...

Dominic turned and walked over to his discarded swords and grabbed them firmly in his hands and placed them in their spots before turning his head slightly towards Sapphire.

Dominic: When we get up there, Bludgeon is mine. You can have Blair and Cinder.

Sapphire: Cinder? How do you know she is part of this?

Dominic: Because I helped her...

Sapphire: What...?

Dominic: I helped her do this! She was never my lover! That was just a cover story for us to use while we helped each other further our plans! It's all my fault! So please, just...go find the others. Find Dante. Leave me and go. This mess is mine to clean up. Got anything to say? Or are you just gonna give me your death stare while silently wishing for my death?

Sapphire: ....There's nothing to say. What's done is done. Besides, even if you did stop her before this happened, someone else could have came in and finished what she started. Now, let's give them the fight they'll never forget. And send them back to hell.

Dominic:*looks at Beacon* Yes...for him. For Obito.

Sapphire: For every life lost on this day.

The two walked towards Beacon, killing any Grimm or demon that stood in their way until they made it inside where they got into an elevator that was still functioning and rode it towards the top of the tower.

While the elevator ascended towards the top of the tower, Sapphire took a second to stare at the broken sword handle that used to be his weapon. Dominic had seen him do this before and spoke up to his friend.

Dominic: Why do you still carry that around?

Sapphire: I don't know. I guess it reminds me of who I once was. Literally. Without this I don't feel whole. I feel...incomplete. When Bludgeon broke this, I felt a part of me break away from my spirit.

Dominic: And you think carrying it around will make you feel whole again?

Sapphire: You judge me when you keep that amulet around your necks?

Dominic: No. I understand you. Without these possessions to tether us down, we don't feel human.

Sapphire: It just didn't make me feel whole, it gave me strength. This helped me use my power. And now...it's a reminder of how I need to do better. Like you, I need more power...

Saying those words reminded Sapphire of something about the twins that he never noticed before. When Dante was stabbed with the Rebellion, it activated his latent demonic powers. Just like him, their weapons were the key to their powers. Maybe just like them, he could unlock his powers once more. It was a long shot, but it was all he had against the power of Bludgeon and Blair.

Dominic takes out his amulet and holds it tightly in his hand as the elevator reaches the top floor and opens its doors for the two.

Sapphire: Let's go.

An explosion rocked the tower and through the smoke walked in Cinder and Blair who had evil smirks on their faces as they walked up to the windows of the office and looked down at the chaos that had befallen Beacon. The Grimm Dragon had attached itself to the tower and climbed up it to the top where it looked at the two women and roars.

Cinder: This is your home now.

The dragon roars and the two enjoy their victory over Ozpin but were interrupted by the sound of an elevator coming up at full speed and when it stops, the doors swung open and Pyrrha's weapon came flying at them

They dodge the spear but Cinder had to block Pyrrha coming in with a flying kick with her shield. The young warrior jumped away from the two and used her Semblance to bring them to her as the two women got ready to fight with her as Cinder floated up in the air with flames surrounding her and Blair spread her wings and summoned her spear in her hand.

The fight was about to begin until the sound of the second elevator stopped them in their tracks and they all looked at the elevator doors slowly open.

Blair:*smirk* It has begun~

A cone of ice and snow blew out of the elevator causing everyone to dodge to the side as both Sapphire and Dominic jumped out of the elevator and joined Pyrrha.

Pyrrha: You two? What are you-?

Sapphire: There's no time!

Cinder aimed her palm out at the group and fired a torrent of flames at them that Sapphire blocked using the ice of Cerberus in conjunction with his own ice ability and formed a large shield of ice that held up against Cinder's attacks until Blair joined in with her and fires a beam of demonic energy from her fingertip at the ice which caused it to begin cracking.

Dominic jumped over the all of ice, equipping Beowulf and dives down towards the two women with his foot aimed right at them but the two dodged backwards, saving each other from the attack and fly in towards the half demon who blocks their attacks with his arms and holds them back long enough for Pyrrha and Sapphire to hit them away from him.

Blair: Heh, three on two isn't very fair. Let's even the odds, shall we?

Blair turns her head towards the window where a small flash of purple shines in the sky before it crashes through the window and impacts the ground in between everyone and what appears through the smoke was the demonic samurai Bludgeon.

Bludgeon: This fight will be your last, humans!

Dominic: He is mine!!

Dominic went in with both Yamato and Force Edge, swinging wildly at Bludgeon while Sapphire and Pyrrha had to deal with Blair and Cinder.

Pyrrha fought Cinder blow for blow with her blocking every single projectile she threw at her which prompted Cinder to close the gap between them and fly at Pyrrha and crash into her which pushes her towards the wall. Pyrrha quickly picked up her feet and let's them hit the wall for her to use it as a stepping point for her to jump off of, hitting Cinder in the face with her knee and sending her flying backwards towards the window where she crashed onto a pile of debris.

Sapphire and Blair fought and she was dominating in the fight with her diving down repeatedly towards Sapphire who had to block her flurry of strikes and energy blasts from a distance.

Blair: You can't possibly win, human! My speed, my power, it's all above you!! Just admit it that you're nothing but a worthless human!

Sapphire:*grunt* You're right! Humans are weak! But I...I'm more than human! Just like those two! I'm tired of being left in the dust and forgotten!

Sapphire grabs hold of his pendant and tears it off his neck and looks at it for a second, praying that his idea will work before he takes the sharp end of Rakshasa and stabs it into his chest.

Blair: What are you doing?!

Sapphire:*grunt* As Dante would say: "Something really stupid!!"

Sapphire's body begins to glow a faint blue light that makes Blair shudder from the chill in the air that had just come about from Sapphire and she rushes in to stop whatever he was trying to do but was stopped in her tracks when Force Edge came from her side and went through her torso, causing her to fall to the ground in pain and look towards Dominic who had willingly thrown away his weapon to help Sapphire while fighting Bludgeon.

An orb formed around Sapphire and he let out a loud scream as the orb exploded and a flash of light blinded everyone in the tower and caused the Grimm Dragon to roar and lose its footing on the tower and fall down but catches itself.

Once the light dies down, Blair was standing and struggles to pull the Force Edge out of her side. Due to her lack of awareness, she didn't notice that her shadow wasn't following her movements and was shocked when it grabbed onto the sword and pushed it further into her body before pulling it out and tosses it back towards Dominic who catches it as he backflips away from Bludgeon.

???: It seems the veil of darkness has opened once again, demon.

Blair looks around for the voice with her spear gripped tightly in her hands as sweat begins to form on her forehead.

Blair: Damn human! Where are you?!

???: Oh, didn't you listen to what I said? I'm no human. Not entirely.

Blair: Then what?!

She backed up into someone and turned around to see Sapphire standing there cloaked in darkness with a hood over his face and glowing blue eyes.

Sapphire: Death.

Before she could do anything, Sapphire punched her across the face and sent Blair flying across the office and into a wall. He then rushes towards Blair, forming a scythe in his hands while she struggled to get herself free from the wall. Blair, desperate for a way out, takes in a deep breath and screams at the top of her lungs and shoots a sonic wave at Sapphire who grabs his ears in pain.

Once she was free from the wall, Blair approaches Sapphire while still screaming at him which brought him to his knees while he held his ears.

Blair: Human...DIE!!!

Blair brings her weapon up and slams it down on Sapphire but she only managed to his a clone made of ice that he had made before she swung her weapon down on him and the ice from the shattered clone attached to Blair and froze her in place.

Sapphire: The Reaper of Atlas is back, bitch!

Sapphire brings his fist back and coats it in frost and shadows before digging his fist into Blair's frozen face, shattering the ice that froze her and sends her on her back with her cheek burning from the coldness of the ice.

Dominic and Bludgeon fought at blinding speeds with their swords seeming like blurs. The master and his student clashed blade's before pushing away from each other and staring at each other while the others fought their own battle.

Bludgeon: Why the cold glare? Is it because I killed that pathetic weakling? Ha! Your love for these beings is a joke! They cannot even fight against their own darkness, let alone the darkness of hell to which I bring here on this day!

Dominic: ......Why?

Bludgeon: Hm?

Dominic: Why him? Why did he have to die?! Why couldn't you have just killed me instead?!

Bludgeon: Because that is what you wanted! You wished to die instead of those who you care for and that is why I despise you and your father! You both have limitless power and yet you use it to protect these worms!

Dominic: Over two millennia and you still don't get it, do you? This power is meaningless to us! It's what ruined my life in the first place! What I've gone through, no one should ever have been subjected to such abuse! Such torture! But happened. It made me who I am now. It made me the man who was a fool for believing that getting this stupid sword was enough to make myself feel like I was worth anything! I was blind. A fool, like you! I truly wanted to be protected. To be loved. And Obito...he gave me the love I so desperately needed! He showed me kindness that only Summer Rose had given me! He saw me for who I really am!

Bludgeon: Who you are is a joke!! Do you even hear yourself?! Your very existence, what you are, you and your brother are destined to become gods!! As you are now, the Maidens are nothing to you! And yet you stand beside the beings who have tried to kill each other for centuries! WHY?!

Dominic: BECAUSE IT IS MY MOTHERS WILL!!! It is her love of this planet and it's people that keeps me going! Her memory is what keeps me alive! Her, my father, and Summer all loved this world! I have sullied their memories long enough! I will follow in their footsteps and become the savior of this planet and it's people. I am The Dark Angel of Remnant!!!

Bludgeon: Tch! You give yourself the title of guardian to these people? You have no power to back up your claims!!!

The two rushes towards each other with their swords held tightly in their hands with their Aura blazing through them as their wills are held together by their ties that bonded them to them.

Cinder: Ahh!

Cinder tried to hold back Pyrrha's sword from cutting her throat as the blinding like Sapphire created during his transformation gave her the opportunity to grab Cinder and hold her in place.

Cinder: W-Wait!! I-I am with child!

Her words echoed throughout the room and caused everyone to stop fighting and look directly at Cinder who was still holding on to Pyrrha's sword.

Pyrrha: Wh-What?

Cinder: I am with child!

Dominic: Don't listen to her! That woman speaks nothing but deceit and lies!

Blair: I wouldn't be so sure about that, boy toy~

Sapphire: What is she talking about? Dom, what is she talking about?!

Cinder:*smiles* That night we shared together, my love. It brought more than just pleasure beyond my wildest dreams. It gave me a child. Your child.

Dominic: ....What...?

This news shocked the trio of humans there, Dominic most of all. A child born from a single night of passion between him and Cinder. Madness. The news was so shocking that it distracted them all from the Grimm Dragon that had flown away from Beacon and was flying towards them as they spoke. Cinder smirked as her hands became hotter as the Dragon got closer and closer until it passed by the tower and screeches so loud that it shattered every window and shook the entire tower.

Pyrrha lost grip on Cinder who broke her sword and threw Pyrrha away while Sapphire and Dominic both knelt down to the floor so they wouldn't get knocked down as Bludgeon and Blair stood upright on the floor unnerved by the Dragon's roar. The roof collapsed around them and coated the entire tower in dust and ash.

Once the dust cleared, Pyrrha was perched up against a piece of debris while Sapphire threw off a chunk of the roof that had fallen on top of him. Dominic however was on his knees looking at the ground in shock. Not only had he lost his best friend, but he now learned that Cinder was pregnant with his unborn child. The emotions swirling around inside him made him deaf to the world around him as Sapphire tried to get him to get up.

Sapphire: Dom!! Come on man! Get up! We have to keep fighting!

A loud screech took Sapphires attention from his friend and he saw Blair come out of the rubble and fly towards him.

Sapphire: Dammit!

Sapphire pulled his scythe up from the ground and blocked Blair's strike before swinging his weapon left and right, trying to hit her as she flew around him.

Sapphire: I'm not dealing with this crap again!

Sapphire turned his scythe into a pair of dual chained spikes. He then threw one of the spikes at Blair which hit her in the wind and Sapphire grabbed the other spike that was attached to the other by the chain, and pulled Blair towards the ground as hard as he could, tearing her wing off in the process.

Pyrrha had gotten up from the ground and was fighting Cinder with her shield and Semblance using the metal gears and debris around her to hit Cinder with, trying to at least knock her out due to the revelation of her being pregnant. Due to her holding back, Cinder easily dodged and destroyed. Cinder, gathering her power in her hands, shot a ball of fire at Pyrrha who blocked it but the force of the blast was too much and she was sent flying into a piece of a wall and her Aura broke.

Bludgeon walked over towards Dominic and grabbed him by the hair and made him look at him. He could see the shock in Dominic's eyes and spat at his student.

Bludgeon: Look at you. Back then you took my arm and made me flee with my tail in between my legs because you thought your friend to be dead. Now that he is, all you can do is cry. I should have known that you were worthless the day I saw you. But that doesn't matter now. Because I can try again with your child. And they will become the perfect warrior. Don't feel too bad. I will send you somewhere you belong. There, you can be with all the people you failed so they may torment you for eternity. Maybe your friend can tell you just how much you failed him...

Bludgeon raised his sword high above his head ready to strike down Dominic.

Sapphire, while fighting Blair, sees Bludgeon bring his sword above his head about to strike down Dominic and quickly stabs Blair in the chest with his spikes and freezes her body in place before speeding over towards the two and without thinking, puts himself in front of Dominic with his arms out as Bludgeon slices downward.

Sapphire: Gck-! Ghh!

Dominic, finally getting out of his shock, looks up at Sapphire who stood there with his arms outstretched and shaking as a line began to form in the middle of him with his body suddenly beginning to crack.

Sapphire: Dominic...you...are the most...self absorbed person I've ever met....thank you...for being my friend...

As Sapphires body splits apart, he lets out one final scream before exploding in a flash of light that leaves nothing behind where he once stood.

Bludgeon: Fool. Instead of taking advantage of my turned back, he chose to sacrifice himself. What a waste...So, what say we finish-?

Bludgeon was cut off when Dominic's fist came up with enough speed and power to cut through his armor and his face, sending blood everywhere along with Bludgeon screaming in pain as he holds the right side of his face.

Dominic then spun around and delivered a kick to Bludgeon so powerful that it cracked his armor and sent him flying backwards towards a pile of rubble.

Bludgeon: GAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!

Bludgeon impacted the rubble hard and knelt forward clutching his face as blood poured out from his wound.

Bludgeon: That...hurt...THAT HURT!!!!

The demonic samurai rushed in like a wild man towards Dominic with full intent to kill him with his hands. Dominic was standing there as Bludgeon flew at him with his fist reeled back and threw a punch at his student but was caught by Dominic using one hand and snaps his wrist, making him shout out in pain while holding his limp arm.

Dominic: You just keep on killing innocent people...

The Yamato and Force Edge flew up from the ground and into Dominic's hands who then let out a primal roar as a bolt of lightning struck him, transforming him into his Devil Trigger. Bludgeon snapped his wrist back into place and drew his sword again and the two impacted each other's swords, creating shockwaves that shook the tower.

Both Bludgeon and Dominic were fighting at their fullest with their power rising and rising with each blow they deal to each other.

Bludgeon would knee Dominic in the chest so hard that it brought him out of his Devil Trigger for a brief moment before gritting his teeth and transforming again and continuing the battle with Bludgeon.

Sparks flew as each time their blades clashed, their power along with the friction coming from rubbing their blades together would heat up their blades to high temperatures where it looked as if they were using flaming swords to fight against each other.

Dominic then spread his wings and knelt down before diving towards Bludgeon with his Deep Stinger technique which caused the demon to block it with his sword until the pressure was too much and he lost his grip which allowed Dominic to drill through him, pouring his blood all over the battlefield.

Outside, Ruby and Weiss were dispatching the last group of Grimm and Demons.

Ruby: We need to hurry!

Weiss looked up at the top of Beacon Tower and created a line of glyphs that lead all the way up the tower.

Weiss: You've got this.

Ruby smirked and used her Semblance to run up the side of Beacon Tower while at the top, things were not going well for anyone on the side of good.

Pyrrha, whom had just regained consciousness, saw Cinder aiming her bow at Pyrrha. Thinking quickly, she sidestepped Cinder and tosses her shield at her as Cinder fired an arrow at Pyrrha. The shield and arrow would never connect at the arrow dissipated before reforming and hits Pyrrha in the leg.

Pyrrha: Ahh!!

DT Dominic:*looks* PYRRHA!!

Pyrrha held her injured leg as Cinder walked up to her.

Cinder: How does it feel knowing you were given a power that was never meant for you? But don't worry, I will use that power in ways that you never could have imagined.

Cinder picked up Pyrrha's chin so she could look at her but she took her head away from the woman and looked her dead in the eyes.

Pyrrha: Do you believe in destiny..?

Cinder:*glares* Yes I do...

Cinder creates her bow and draws it back forming an arrow between her fingers and aims right at Pyrrha's chest.

Bludgeon roared and began swinging as hard as he can at Dominic who kept on trying to flee from him to save Pyrrha but he wouldn't let him and kept hitting his sword's violently.

Bludgeon: ALL I EVER DID, I DID FOR YOU!! I TRAINED YOU TO BE THE STRONGEST OF ALL!! WHERE IS THAT STRENGTH?! WHERE IS THE STRENGTH YOUR FATHER HAD ALL THOSE YEARS AGO?! WHERE IS HE?! WHY DOES HE NOT SHOW UP WHEN YOU, HIS SON, ARE DYING?!

Bludgeon knocked the Force Edge out of Dominic's hand and he had to hold the Yamato in both hands to block Bludgeon's rage filled slashes.

Bludgeon: TELL ME SPARDA! DO YOU WANT TO SEE YOUR SON DIE?! TELL ME! TELL MEEEE!!!!

With one final swing, Bludgeon broke the blade of the Yamato which took Dominic out of his Devil Trigger as his sword cut through his flesh.

Dominic: GAAAH!!

Dominic's amulet fell to the ground as he dropped to his back with the broken Yamato still held tightly in his hand.

Cinder let's the arrow fly and hits Pyrrha in the chest causing her to gasp as she felt herself begin to grow cold and lose feeling in her body. Cinder, about to grab Pyrrha, decides to fulfill her end of the bargain and goes over to Blair who was still frozen solid and she uses her Semblance to free her from the ice.

Blair:*gasp* Where-!

Cinder: As agreed, your new body.

Cinder motions towards Pyrrha who was clutching the arrow in her chest as her blood begins to leak from the wound.

Blair:*grins* Divine~

Blair saunters up to Pyrrha and brings her chin up so she can look at her and she extends her tongue out to her and licks her cheek.

Pyrrha: G-guh!

Blair: Such a young face~ Innocent and pure. I'll enjoy stripping your body of everything that once made it you.

Pyrrha's eyes go wide as Blair crashes her lips onto hers and she tries to push her away but was too weak and was forced to watch Blair as she begins to pour her energy into Pyrrha which made her skin turn a deadly pale grey as Blair began to break apart until she turned into a pile of dust on the ground.

Pyrrha:*takes in a breath* Haaaa aahh~

An evil grin grows on Pyrrha's face and she removes the arrow from her chest and gets up to look Cinder in her eyes.

Pyrrha: A strange feeling, but a good one~

Blair, now inside of Pyrrha's body, begins to feel herself and enjoys the new experience of having a new body. She licks her lips and turns to Cinder

Blair: Thank you~ Now, to see the limits of this body~

Her and Cinder both looked at Dominic who was being held up by his collar by Bludgeon. The two joined Bludgeon and crowed around Dominic who despite being unconscious, held the Yamato firmly in his hand.

Unbeknownst to them, Ruby had just made her way to the top of the tower and looked around frantically for her friends and only saw Dominic being at the mercy of the enemy.

Her heart filled with dread as she saw her closest friend about to die. She was about to rush in to save him but her foot hit something and she looked down to see the Force Edge sitting at her feet. Once she picked it up, she held it high above her head and shouted at the three as loud as she could.

Ruby: LEAVE HIM ALONE!!!

The three turned their heads towards Ruby who was standing there with the Force Edge and saw the most strangest thing they'd ever seen. The sword, once belonging to the legendary Sparda himself, was reacting to this small human girl as her eyes began to glow white with her entire body being covered in a black aura.

Ruby: RRRH!! BEGONE!!!

Her voice was echoed by a demonic tone as she slammed the sword downward and slashed a wave of grey and silver energy towards the trio which shocked all of them as they and the Grimm Dragon were coated in light.

The power surge from the sword caused her to fall unconscious and she laid there on the ground with the sword in her hands. The last thing she heard was the voice of her Uncle Qrow telling her that she was going to be alright.

An unknown time had passed until Ruby woke up to find herself in her bed with her father asleep in a chair beside her. She sat up groaning with her eyes feeling like they were burning.

Ruby: Guuuh...

Taiyang:*wakes up* Ruby! You're awake!

Ruby: What..happened?

Taiyang:*sigh* Your Uncle Qrow found you. Unconscious. He brought you here. He got you out of Vale and brought you here.

Ruby: Oh..*gasp* Yang! Is she okay?!

Taiyang: Well...She's uh..she's gonna be alright. I think...I think you should see this.

Taiyang grabs something from behind him that was wrapped up in a cloth that he hands to Ruby.

Ruby: What's this?

Taiyang: Your uncle found it. He...thinks you should see it before everyone else.

Ruby undoes the cloth and gasps when she sees the piece of a katana in the cloth and picks it up shakily.

Ruby: No...

Taiyang: I'm..sorry, Ruby.

Ruby: Does..*sniff* does Dante know?

Taiyang:*shakes his head* No. We...haven't had the chance to tell him. He's downstairs right now. He's been here since Qrow brought you here. Just...please...be gentle with it.

Ruby nods and gets out of bed and walks by Yangs room and checks in on her sister who was sat in her bed looking out the window with bandages covering her missing arm and holding onto Dominic's ascot tightly which made more tears well up in Ruby's eyes.

Yang:*turns to her* Ruby? What's-?

Yangs eyes go down to what Ruby had in her hands and her heart fell into her stomach at the sight of a piece of the Yamato. The pain in her heart grew worse than after she lost her arm and she clenched Dominic's ascot tighter in her hand as she held her head low.

Yang: .....

Ruby: Y-Yang...I'm so sorry...

Ruby never saw her sister truly angry before. Pissed off was her norm but this time...this time Ruby saw the fiery rage that dwelled inside of her sister and saw as Yang got out of her bed and took the piece of the Yamato in her hand as tight as she could, causing her hand to bleed.

Ruby: Yang! Wait!

Ignoring her sister, Yang stomps downstairs and turns to the kitchen to see Dante with his back turned talking with Qrow who sees Yang.

Qrow: Firecracker? What are you-?

Yang: RRRAAAHHH!!

Yang stabs down onto Dante's back but the half demon caught her wrist and turns around to look at her with a confused look.

Dante: Blondie?

Yang:*hic* Why?! Why wasn't it you?! Why did it have to be him?!

Dante: What the hell are you talking about?

Yang pulls her wrist from Dante and pushes the blade to his chest.

Yang: Hell is where you should be for what you've done!

Dante: What?

Dante looks at the blade Yang gave to him and looks at it confused until Yang tells him exactly what it was.

Yang: You bastard! You left them! You left them all to die! And now...he's dead! He's dead and this is all that was left!!!

Dante: What...?

Dante takes a second look at the blade and his world shattered when he realizes that he was holding the broken half of the Yamato.

Dante: No...no no...this—this can't be. This-this isn't-this this this this isn't—

Yang: It is! You left them and now because of you..*sniffle* The man I love, your brother, is dead...

Dante's mind shattered as he stared at the piece of the Yamato and was brought out of his daze when Qrow put his hand on Dante's shoulder and looked at him with a sympathetic look.

Qrow: Kid, I...I didn't know how to tell you.

Dante's hands shook violently and the piece of the Yamato dropped from his hands and he held his head in sorrow as he let out a loud scream.

Dante: OH GOD DOM NO! PLEASE TELL ME YOU'RE WRONG!

Dante looked at Qrow, praying that he was wrong. But all Dante got from him was silence.

Dante: No god! Dom you can't be gone too! PLEASE not you! I can't be the only one left!

Dante yells and slams his fists on the counter, breaking it with his enhanced strength and shocking Qrow who had never seen strength like this from anyone but Yang.

Dante: ARRGH!! He's gone!

Yang: Yeah! He's gone! And it's all your fault!

Qrow: Hey!

Yang: It's true! He ran off to save Blake rather than help his own family! And now they're all dead!

In the hallways stood Ruby who had overheard everything. She had no idea that everyone in team ODDS besides Dante was dead. Sapphire, Obito..they were all dead. She fell to her knees and began to cry as more dread filled her heart that not only did she lose Penny and Pyrrha, but she also lost the two most important men in her life.

Dante: Why did I leave them?! WHY?!

Qrow: Kid, you did what you thought was necessary.

Dante: Don't you DARE lecture me about necessities, Qrow! You don't know what it's like! To lose..EVERYTHING! To be the only one to survive!

Qrow: I do know, kid. I'm probably the only one who can understand what you're feeling right now.

Dante: No! I'm...I'm done!

Qrow: What?

Dante: I said I'm FUCKING DONE!!

Dante grabs his gun holster from his back and throws it to the wall before he walks over to the Rebellion leaning against a chair and taking it with him outside and stabs it in the ground leaving it there as he storms off away from the house.

Taiyang:*runs in* Qrow! What happened? Yang! What are you doing out of bed?!

Yang: The coward left! He left just like he left them all to die! He...

Yang hides her tears with her bangs and runs past her dad and crying sister, slamming her door shut and diving into her bed and grabs the only thing she had left of Dominic and clutches it close to her face and cries while praying to whatever God was listening that it was all just a dream and that he would come through her door and take her in his arms. That she could be with him.

The once sunny day became overcast as quickly as Dante left the house and he walked down the road as it began to pour down on him.

His boots squished in the dirt as he kept walking for an unknown amount of time while his mind focused on one singular thing: Dominic. His brother. The only family he had left, was dead. All because he wanted to save Blake. Because of his feelings for her, he lost his only family.

Gru, Nell, Obito, Sapphire, Pyrrha. Everyone dead. Everyone whom he's had a relationship with, was dead.

Dante stops walking and let's the dread fill his heart and for the first time in nearly a decade......he snaps.

Dante: HAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! AH! AAAAAAHHH!! *sniffle* Guh...

Red lightning began coursing through Dante as his sorrow grew larger and larger as the rain fell down on his face, covering the fact he was now crying uncontrollably.

Dante: YAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!

Dante let out one final roar of sorrow before unconsciously transforming into his Devil Trigger and falling to his knees and slams his fists on the ground creating a large crater that he sat in while above him stood Qrow who for the first time in his lift saw that even a Devil May Cry when losing a loved one.

DT Dante: RRRAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!

With a loud roar, Dante spread his wings and blasted off into the clouds, leaving Qrow stunned at what he just witnessed.

Months past and Fall soon turned into Winter as Ruby silently left her home with a bag of gear packed and the broken half of Yamato tied up to her waist along with Crescent Rose.

???: Hey...

She turns around and greets Jaune who, along with Ren and Nora, would be joining her on her adventure.

Ruby: *smile* Hey, Jaune. Haven's a long way to go...

Jaune: I know. But it's the only way we have.

Ruby: And you're sure you want to come along?

Ren: The journey will be perilous. And whether we find answers or not at the end, is entirely uncertain.

Nora: But we wouldn't be here if we weren't up for it.

Ruby: Then let's get to it.

The four of them walk off into the woods on their way to Haven and save the world. If only they knew the hardships that await them on their journey.

A smaller, more honest soul. It's true that a simple spark can ignite hope. Breathe fire into the hearts of the weary. The ability to derive strength from hope is undoubtedly mankind's greatest attribute. Which is why, I will focus all my power to snuff it out. How does it feel? The woman turns and walks down a flight of steps towards a tree that held a person in its branches and she stops at it and gazed at a prize she had won and would soon give to the one who made her dreams all possible.

???: Soon, you will be part of something so grand, my child. Soon, you will be with your peers. Soon....you will be mine.

A red glow in the sky catches her attention and she turns around to see three glowing orbs in the sky looking down at her like a set of eyes. She bows her head to them and motions towards Dominic and smiles at the eyes.

???: A gift for our mutual benefits. May it bring you joy as you and I work together once more to bring humanity to an end.

The sky went pitch black with only the red orbs visible and the woman watched as they moved closer and sees a hand reach out towards the tree and grabs Dominic from it and the giant figure holds Dominic in their hand looking down at him and he gave them a death glare while bleeding profusely but showing no signs of pain.

Dominic: .....Mundus....

Mundus: SPARDA. SPARDA! HAD HE NOT SULLIED HIS DEMON BLOOD WITH A HUMAN WOMB...PERHAPS HE COULD HAVE HAD A SON WITH SOME GIT.

Dominic: Done with the drivel? I can keep going..

This devil, this icon of evil, did not put any fear inside of Dominic. For his heart was now empty. All was lost to him and he knew it. He either waited for death to finally take him or to receive more punishment.

Mundus: HEH HEH. LET ME SAVE YOU FROM THAT WEAKNESS...

Mundus began to use his dark magic on Dominic and the woman down below watched with a smile on her face as she saw Dominic drop the broken Yamato at her feet as he was being overtaken by a black bile made by Mundus

As the bile began to encircle him, Dominic reached out in despair for the Yamato as the woman picked it up and looked him dead in the eye with a smile.

Dominic:*grunt* Gh...ehh..ngh...

Mundus: THE HEART IS A TUMOR OF WEAKNESS. SO LET ME RID YOU OF IT. YOU NEITHER NEED EGO OR MEMORIES. I WILL BESTOW UPON YOU A NEW NAME. SERVANT OF THE DEMON EMPEROR.

As Mundus said those words, Dominic could feel his mind going blank. As if Mundus was erasing his memories of his past forcefully while transforming his broken body into something else. Tears fell from his eyes as he tried desperately to cling on to his memories of everything that made him who he was.

Ruby:*giggle* I love it! Thanks Dom!

Summer: Do you want to come with me? I can take you in, raise you. You can be a family with us. A big brother to two little girls who desperately need one. What do you say?

Dominic:~Ruby...Weiss...Blake...Yang...please...help me. Sapphire...Obito...forgive me...Dante..I...I can't..I need you...brother..~

As his memories faded away, Dominic managed to hold onto one with an iron grip so strong that Mundus' magic couldn't take it away from him.

Dominic: Ruby...you will...avenge..me...I...will always...love you...

Those were the last words as Dominic was drowned in the bile and was morphed into something more suitable for Mundus.

Mundus: YOUR NEW NAME WOULD BE...NELO ANGELO...

The orb of black bile cracked and burst open spilling out its contents as well as this Nelo Angelo to the woman's feet. She knelt down and picked up his chin and smiled at him as he looks at her with a muted expression.

???: He's perfect. Another knight to add to my chessboard.

The woman turns around as a knight in Grimm armor stomped towards them and stood behind the woman silently.

???: Help him...Tero Angelo.

The knight knelt down and extended a hand towards Nelo Angelo and he looked up at the night and reached out for her hand and the night held his hand tightly but it felt like the knight was trying to reassure him and protect him. To let him know he was okay. Like a mother and he was her child.

In an old decrepit shop somewhere in the world, a man sat at a desk with his face covered in shadows and was sound asleep until the phone next to them rang and they picked it up, sighing in disappointment and put the receiver to their mouth.
