In the depths of Hell, Dominic carved his way through the hordes of demons that stood in his way while the rest of his friends followed him not far behind. They all ran through portals that sent them through random points of the world, even other dimensions.

Obito: What the-

Sapphire: Just keep going!!

Weiss: This feels weird!!

Blake: Why is everything blocks?!

Dominic ran through the living room of a house and looked around for a way out while a man read a book while sitting on a recliner

???: Portal out is that way.

He points down the hallway and Dominic nods, running away with the rest of the group following him

???: He went that way.

Yang: Thanks!

???:*turns a page* Mhm...

The group runs out and through the portal leaving the man by himself until a woman peeks her head out of the hallway

Woman: What was that all about?

The man puts his book down and shrugs his shoulders

???: No idea Hestia. No idea.

We now return to Dante who was walking through an area of Hell after jumping through a portal

Dante: I swear they gotta put up some signs in this place.

Dante's open thoughts were cut off by someone coming up behind Dante and he blocks their sword as it was coming down on him. The figure jumps away from Dante and he looks at who was standing before him. It was Arkham, and he looked just like his father along with wielding his sword

Arkham: Welcome, what do you think after looking at your father's s image?

Dante: It's like staring into a backed up toilet! Why do you always stick your nose in other family's business? Come on dude. Don't you have any hobbies? I mean I like to knit, Dom reads, Sapphire plays chess with Weiss, and Obito plays—

Arkham begins to laugh which creeped out Dante and he just laughed with him while looking around for something to toss at him

Arkham: You can still talk big after seeing THIS?!

Arkhams body begins to mutate and the form of Sparda began to break and Arkhams true form was revealed as a giant ball of purple goo with limbs and tentacles peppering his body, whatever was left of it.

Arkham: I could feel the devils power flowing through my body! The power of Sparda!!

Dante: Dude, my father didn't look so hideous! Can't you tell by looking at me~?

Dante checks himself out in his reflection

Dante: Hey sexy~

Dante's Reflection: Sup dude.

Dante: Anyway, that look suits you better. Matches the disgusting man you once were. Let's begin the main event!

Dante swings Rebellion to his side and charges in at Arkham.

The massive blob of darkness swings a tentacle at Dante who jumps over and shoots at his large body but the bullets did little damage to Arkham and Dante decides to use Lady's rocket launcher and fires a shot off that blew a chunk off of Arkhams body but the chunk regenerated

Dante: Well at least it did something!

Arkham then sunk into the water that was blow them and a swarm of demonic slugs began to chase Dante around the arena

Dante:~So this is my life now huh? Knee deep in weird water while in hell fighting a guy who was obsessed with my fathers power. Pretty fun life I'd say!~

Dante jumps up in the air and slams his sword down on the slugs, killing then in the shockwave of his sword impact

Arkham rose from the water and roars at Dante, swiping his tentacles and claws at him

Dante: Oh come on! All that power and this is what you can think to do with it?!

Dante pulled out Nevan and played a song that send multiple bolts of lighting at Arkham

Dante: Woohoo!! Oh yeah!

Arkham roared and sent a tentacle at Dante that he dodged and sliced through it making the blob scream in pain but it turned into laughter as his limb grew back and the severed one turned into a slug that wrapped around Dante

Dante: Huh?! Uh oh!

Dante was smacked away into a set of rocks by Arkham and groaned in pain as he felt his bones shatter on impact

Dante: GAAUGH!!

Arkham: DIE!!

Dante blocks a swing from Arkhams tentacles and he was pushed into transforming into his devil form and pushes through Arkhams defenses to being attacking him wildly with Rebellion and then switching to his other weapons before finishing his very long comb with an energy blast from his mouth that sends Arkham flying back and finally returning to human form

Dante:*panting* Had enough?

Arkham fires a tentacle at Dante and the half demon jumps over it and runs up the appendage and stabs Arkham with Rebellion.

Dante grunts and pushes his sword deeper into Arkham but jumps away when Arkham makes sharp spikes come out of his body

Dante:*panting*

Arkham gets up laughing while Dante watches him out of breath and panting

Arkham: Regardless how strong you are, you're nothing but a half breed. You cannot defeat a pure demon, the real Sparda!

Arkham swings his arm at Dante who was too weak to move. Suddenly, Arkhams arm was sliced off and he recoils in pain

Arkham: Who?!

Both Arkham and Dante look and see Dominic on top of a stone pillar with Yamato out.

Arkham: Damn you!

Dante:*smiles* Better late than never..

Dominic: I've come to retrieve my power! You can't handle it.

Dominic jumps up and lands in front of Dante, pointing his sword at his chest

Dante: Look at you...making a big dramatic entrance and stealing MY spotlight.

As the brothers began to bicker, the rest of the group fell through the portal Dominic came through and landed on the rocks behind the battlefield

Dante: Guess it is raining girls.

Dominic:*sigh* Those fools. Do they not know what's at stake here?

Dante: They care too much.

Dominic: It's annoying.

Dante: It's nice to be cared about finally. But back to our little "problem".

Dominic: What? You don't possibly believe that he deserves to be our main event now do you?

Dominic hits the severed arm back to Arkham who reattaches it

Dante: Now that you mentioned it, you're right.

Yang: Dom!!

Yang was the first to hop down and runs over to the twins panting

Yang: You don't-Ew!! What the heck is that thing?!

Dante: That right there is what happens when you get into other families business.

Weiss: What happened to him?

Sapphire: The power is too much for his body to handle. It's rejecting him but he's clenching onto it.

Ruby: What are you guys gonna do?

Dante: Stand back and be amazed at what two sons of Sparda can do when working together.

The twins begin walking up to Arkham. Setting aside their differences to take on the more immediate threat.

Arkham: Do you feel you can defeat me? Defeat the power of your father, the great Sparda!

Dominic: You should come to realize you cannot control the power of Sparda.

Dante: You're wasting your time, buddy.

Dante points Rebellion at Arkham and leans over to his brother

Dante: I think he needs to learn the hard way~

Dominic: My favorite way~

Dominic hits Rebellion away and runs to the left while Dante runs to the right.

Dominic: HUAAAAAA!!

Dante: HAAAAAA!!

The twins attack Arkham with simultaneous strikes. Both of them in perfect sync with one another like they've trained their whole lives for this day

Dante: Hey! I uh, found your weapon that you dropped!

Dominic: Keep it! I won't be needing it!

Dante: Nah I got too many new toys today as is!

Sapphire: I'll take 'em!

Dominic: No! They're mine!

Sapphire: Oh come on! Your stupid master broke my last one!

Dominic: What?!

Sapphire: So I need a replacement!

Dante: Are we really having this conversation while the fate of the world is at stake?!

Weiss: You're just jumping and teleporting! You both are making this out to be some game!!

Dominic: We are not!

Dante: Haha! I got a SS rank!

Dominic: Well then I'm gonna get a SSS rank!

Dante: Not if I get it first!

Weiss: See?!

Obito: That's it! I didn't run through the underworld at age fifteen to just sit by and watch my friends have all the fun!

Weiss: What are your people's definitions of fun?!

Sapphire: This.

Obito shouts and jumps into the battle with him kicking Arkham in the face

Ruby: I'm going in too!

Blake: Right!

Yang: Yeah!!

Weiss: Can you believe these people Sapphire?! Sapphire?

Weiss looks around and sees Sapphire had already joined in on the fun

Weiss:*sigh* Fine!

The entirety of the two teams fought Arkham side by side combining attacks with each other

Obito: Did he always look like this?

Dante: No he actually took on the form of my dad!

Dominic: What? Why? I thought he wanted to become a demon not our father!

Dante: I know right!

Yang: Well what did your dad look like?

Dante: A giant bug? I don't know he looked human enough!

Sapphire: Bet that's what your mom said!

Dominic: How did you know?

Sapphire: ..........

Dante: Okay, time to end this! STINGER!

Arkham seats away Dante's sword but it was caught by Blake who uses it to cut off one of Arkhams limbs before tossing it to Dante

Dante: Alright!! Nice one Blake!

Dominic: EYAH!!

Dominic slices through Arkham while Obito peppers him with multiple kunai that explode on impact

Arkham: GAAAAHH!!

Yang: Haaaa!!

Yang uppercuts Arkham in the face and throws rights and lefts before finishing him off with a heavy punch that sends him flying back and into a cluster of rocks

Arkham: This...can't be! Children! Beating me?! He who possesses the power of Sparda!!

Sapphire: It's because it's not your power to wield! It rejects your evil blood! Even a demon like Sparda was pure while you, a human, is evil to the core!

Obito: You sacrificed your wife to get to this point! And in the end, it was all for nothing.

Dante: HYAH!!

Dante stabs Rebellion into Arkhams side with Dominic stabbing Yamato into his other side. Arkham then tosses the two around while they were holding onto their swords but they leg go

Dante: Dom!! Need a hand?!

Dominic: I prefer a sword!!

Dominic palm strikes Yamato further into Arkham and Dante kicks Rebellion into him. Both swords pass by each other while traveling through Arkham before they pop out and the twins wield each other's sword to use to slice up Arkham.

Dante: Hah! HYAH!

Dominic: Hm! Haaah!!

Arkham recoils in pain and his body begins to reject the power even more. One more attack could end it all.

Dante: Everyone!

Dominic: Together!

Both teams fly at Arkham and finish him off with one final combined strike and land behind him and they all stand beside one another as Arkham begins to fall apart

Arkham: This cannot be! You cannot-!

The twins toss each other their swords and Dante pulls out Ebony and Ivory to finish off Arkham but he throws a tentacle at him, knocking Ebony out of his hand but Dominic catches the gun and the twins both aim the guns at their foe

Dominic: We'll take it from here guys.

Dante: Hey. Remember what we used to say?

This mention of their past together makes Dominic crack a small smile

Arkham: Don't do it!

Yang: Do it!!

Blake: Put everything into this final attack!

The twins put the guns together the guns and say a line that will stick with them forever

Jackpot!

With a pull of the trigger, a blue and red bullet flew out of the guns and hit Arkham which was the final nail on his coffin as he began to become separated from Sparda's power

Arkham: I HAVE THE TRUE POWER OF SPARDAAAA!!

Dominic: Not very classy for someone's dying words.

Ruby: You could say that again!

Weiss: It's finally over...thank the gods!

Dominic tosses Dante Ebony and the twins see their amulets and the Force Edge leave from Arkhams body and immediately knew what the other was thinking. So did the others

Yang: Wait-!

Yang grabs Dominic by the arm as he was about to jump into the portal that had opened in the center of the arena where the items had just fallen into

Yang: Please..!

Dominic pulls his arm out of the girls grip and jumps into the portal with Dante following behind him.

Yang: NO!!

Yang was the first to dive in after the twins and was followed by Ruby

Weiss: Did they just jump?!

Sapphire: Dammit!!

Sapphire follows them into the portal as well does the rest of the group

In the Human World, Lady walked up the top of the tower where the portal to the Demon World was still open. She catches a glimpse of something coming out of it and she soon sees that it was her father, now human, falling down from Hell. He impacts the ground and she walked up to him to make sure he was dead but her father was a stubborn human and he gasps awake with himself at death's door

Arkham: Why..? How could I...?! I shall become a god! No one here can stop me!

Arkham begins crawling across the floor with his blood being smeared across it. Lady then walks up to her dying father and looks down at him with a gun aimed at his head

Lady: What a surprise. Here I was looking for you and, lo and behold, you come to me.

Arkham: Mary....

Lady: Don't EVER call me that again. My mother was the only one who could say my name.

Arkham: Wait, please! Do you really want to shoot me? Can you shoot me, your own father?!

Arkham prays that his rouse would work on his daughter but she was done with his tricks and she was done with him. For good.

Arkham: What have I done wrong?! Even the heroic Sparda sacrificed a woman so that he could become a legend! I wished to be a god! And I sacrificed one miserable human being for that reason. That is all! Was that really so awful?

Lady: ......

Arkham: I have some unfinished business to take care of. Help me, Mary.

Arkham reaches out for his daughter in hopes that she would help him. But Mary was no longer his daughter anymore. Only Lady was what remained.

Lady: Mary died a long time ago, my name is Lady.

Lady grabs her gun with both hands as to make sure she doesn't miss her shot on Arkham before she gives him one last farewell

Lady: Goodbye father.

Arkham:*gasp* NO-!

BANG!

BANG!

BANG!

BANG!

Her finger kept pulling on the trigger even though the gun was empty and her father was now dead. She backs away from his corpse and falls down laughing which then turned to tears of sadness. Even though he was a monster, he was still her father.

Lady:*sniffle* And here I thought I wasn't gonna cry..

She looks up at the portal, wondering if the rest of the group is okay

Back in the underworld, the sword of their father Sparda lands in a waterfall with the twins landing on opposite sides of it. Dante runs to grab it first but Dominic rolls and swipes it away before Dante could grab it. The rest of the group lands around the twins but they paid no attention towards them

Dominic eyes Dante's amulet and points at it

Dominic: Give that to me.

Dante, looking at the amulet wrapped around his hand, shakes his head and puts the heirloom behind his back

Dante: No way, you got your own.

Dominic: Well I want yours too.

Sapphire: What are you gonna do with all that power huh?! You said you wouldn't use it to rule the world so what is it? You're just gonna squander it until you die of old age?

Ruby: Dominic that power won't stop the pain you feel in your heart!

Weiss: Just stop this nonsense so that we can go home! We've fought enough. Please..!

Blake: You don't have to fight for this!

Obito: Dominic I know you don't want to do this! Just please let this all go! It's not worth it.

Yang walks in between the twins and puts her hand out in front of Dominic to stop him

Yang: Don't. Please. Not before I tell you this.

Dominic: You're wasting time!

Dominic pushes away Yang and runs at Dante who pulls out Rebellion and the two catch each others blades in their hands. Their blood coating the other ones weapon as they struggle to overpower each other

Dante: We..are the sons of Sparda! Within each of us flows his blood, but more importantly, his soul!!

The twins push away from each other and stand at the other ends of the waterfall while the others watch on

Dante: And now, my soul is saying it wants to stop you!

Dominic laughs at his brothers words. Amused by his speech

Dominic: Unfortunately, our souls are at odds brother. I need more power!

Sapphire: Lies!

Sapphire pulls out Dominic's book and holds it up for everyone to see

Sapphire: You've chosen this place as your tomb! This all but proves it. You want to die so bad but you don't have the strength to do it yourself.

Yang punches Dominic in the face which causes him to drop his fathers sword into the water and she gets on top of him with her fist pulled back

Yang: No..more! No more fighting! This doesn't end with your death Dominic! This ends with us going home!

Dominic: And what?! Forgetting everything that happened?! You said it yourself, you'd never forgive me. So this is what I've chosen to do now that the path has been laid out for me. Think of it as your vengeance. You finally get to see the one who caused your family so much pain, die.

Yang: But I don't want vengeance! I want you!

Dominic: What?

Sapphire: Oop! There it is!

Yang: I forgive you Dom. We forgive you. We just want you to come home! And...I want..

She leans down to him to try one final thing to get Dominic home but he pushes her off him and he pulls the Force Edge to his hand

Dante: I'm not gonna kill you brother.

Dominic: That's fine. You can just stand there and die!!

Dominic yells and runs at Dante with his fathers sword out to stab his brother but Ruby runs in front of Dante with her arms out and Dominic stops himself from running into her

Ruby: You're gonna have to kill me if you want to get through.

Raising the sword above his head, Dominic tries to scare Ruby away but the girl was determined to get him to stop

Ruby: You can't do it. I know you won't hurt me Dominic.

Dominic: Yes. Smart girl. Just like your mother...but oh so foolish to think I wouldn't hurt you.

Ruby gasps as Dominic backhands her away and she flies into a rock and was unconscious from the hit

Obito: Ruby!!

Obito runs over to Ruby and he holds his unconscious lover in his arms as Dante pulls his sword from his back

Dante: So that's how it's going to be huh?

Dominic: It's time for me to leave this all behind and move on to what's in front of me.

Dante: And that's your death?

Dominic: Not mine. Yours.

Dante: And we're supposed to be twins...

Dominic: Twins...right.

Final Fight—Human

Here and now would be the twins final battle. Dominic puts the Force Edge on his back and pulls out Yamato and the twins begin their fight

Dante goes in to Stinger Dominic who teleports behind him and performs a Rapid Slash that cuts through Dante but he just pulls out Ebony and Ivory to shoot at Dominic

Dominic: Again with the guns!

Dominic spins Yamato in front of him, deflecting the bullets as they come towards him

Dominic: How dishonorable can you be brother!

He runs at Dante deflecting bullet after bullet until Dante quickly swaps over to Cerberus and slams the weapon into the water and traps Dominic in a block of ice. Dante then switches over to Beowulf and punches Dominic through the ice and sends him tumbling back across the water

Dante: Is that it Dom? Get up! Fight me like a man!

Dominic:*spits* I'm no man...

Dominic transforms into his demon form and stands up looking at his brother

Dante: Devil Trigger this early?! You must be really scared to be using that!

Dominic didn't listen to his brothers words and disappeared from eyesight. The space around Dante began to warp and he jumps out of the radius of Dominic's Judgement Cut End

Dante: You know, for a move that cool, it kinda blows when your opponent can move while you're doing it! And speaking of moving, how about you stop?

Dante snaps his fingers and time comes to a half. He then walks over his his brother frozen in time and begins to hit him with a long combo containing every single weapon he's acquired over his long journey and he finishes it off with a Stinger

Dante: Let's see you go flying!

Dante snaps his fingers again and times resumes and Dominic feels the force of every attack dealt to him and he gets sent flying towards the opposite side of the waterfall

Dominic: GUAAAHH!!

Dante: Get up!

Dominic grunts and struggles to pick himself up and Dante teleports in front of him with his fist pulled back while he had Beowulf equipped

Dante: I said...GET U-

Red lasers shot from Dominic eyes and they pushed Dante away from the injured Dominic

Weiss: Laser eyes. Of course they can do that..

Dominic whines in pain as he rubbed his burning eyes and once he opens them, he sees Dante speeding towards him. He then jumps over his brother and lands behind him and draws out both of his swords and puts them together in an upside down cross motion with Dante doing the same with the Rebellion

The twins then clash their blades together, sparks flying as metal hits metal with each cut spilling blood into the water beneath their feet

The two back away from each other and enter their Devil Triggers and they blast off into the sky and fight in the air. The force of their blades and fists impacting create shockwaves that blows away the water rushing down into the deeper pits of the Underworld

Obito: They're so fast! My Sharingan can't keep up with them! What about you Sapphire?

Sapphire: I can just catch glimpses of them!

A flash of light blinded the group and they watched as a body crashed into the water. When the dust clears, everyone sees that Dante had fallen in front of them.

Blake: Dante!!

Weiss: Look out!!

Weiss points at Dominic slamming Yamato and Force edge on the ground and sending a massive wave of energy at Dante but Sapphire slams his hands in the water and creates a wall of ice that protects everyone from the attack

Sapphire: Phew..

Dominic: AAAAAAHHH!!!

The shouts of Dominic grabs everyone's attention and they watch him run up the side of the rock formation next to them and jump off it to fight Dante again but Dante gains the upper hand by using Royal Guard to parry a swing from Dominic and then grabs his brother by the coat and slams him repeatedly into the wall of ice until it breaks from Dante throwing Dominic through it

Dominic:*groans and vomits* Ack! *cough*

Dante: Get up...get up coward!

Blake: Dante stop! He's had enough!

Dante: Silence!!

Blake jumps in shock at Dante's outburst and it pained her when she saw his eyes glowing red slightly from anger

Dante: You're gonna fight me until you or I can't even move a single muscle. Do you understand?

Dominic let's out a pained grunt as he stands up still holding the Force Edge in his hand

Dominic: Of course...neither of us will stop until the other concedes.

A memory from their childhood plays in their minds and they are reminded of the last fight that they had with each other before their lives changed. In their minds, they were still kids fighting with wooden swords while everyone else saw the two of them fighting, spilling each others blood everywhere as their shadows danced on the rocks beside them

Blake: Sapphire please! Do something!

Sapphire: No. They both need this.

Yang: To see the other one die?!

Sapphire: No. To see the other one be beaten.

Dominic started using his Summoned Swords in his attacks while Dante switched back and forth between every weapon he had in his arsenal.

The elder twin broke their clash and started slashing Dante repeatedly as swords hovered above his head

Dominic: Behold my power!!

Upon sheathing his sword, Dante was hit with the force of the attack as well did the swords stab into him and explode which sent him flying back

Dominic's aura began to spike as he prepared for his final assault on Dante

Dominic: You're going down...!

Transforming, Dominic sped around the area slashing his sword wildly in effort to hit Dante

Dante:*grunt*

Dante backflips into the air and shoots at his brother but the bullets bounced off his scales and once he landed, he saw Dominic with his sword raised about to deal the final blow but his Devil Trigger suddenly ran out and Dante used Dominic's confusion to launch him into the air with an upward slash and then sent him flying back down to the ground

Dominic:~Dante....~

Dominic slid across the ground and groaned as the water washed away the blood. He tried to get up but his body became weak and he fell to one knee, using the Force Edge as support

Dominic:*pant* Am I...being defeated?

Dante: What's wrong? Is that all you got? Come on get up, you can do better than that.

Dominic grits his teeth and painfully stands up. The ground began to shake, scaring everyone present

Obito: What's happening?!

Dominic: The portal to the Human World is closing....because the amulets have been separated.

Dante: Let's finish this, Dominic. I have to stop you...even if that means killing you.

Yang: No!!

Dominic: It's too late Yang.~May this act put your soul to rest...Summer.~

Dominic swung the Force Edge and ran at Dante who ran at him. The twins screaming as the memories from their time at Beacon flashing through their minds at an instant

Dante goes in for a horizontal slash while Dominic goes for a diagonal one and Dante cuts through his brother, spraying his blood across the arena

Dante's hands shook as he realizes what he had just done and Dominic closed his eyes and accepted his fate as he began to fall forward. His sword falls from his hand as does his amulet from his neck.

Dominic: Gah..!

Dominic coughed up blood as he knelt down and picked up his amulet and held it against his chest as he began to walk backwards from Dante

Dominic: No one can have this, Dante. It's mine, it belongs to a son of Sparda.

As Dominic began to walk back, Ruby's eyes fluttered open and she weakly looks around

Obito: Ruby!

Ruby: Obito..? Where am I?

Sapphire: Hell. But you're not dead.

Ruby: Where...where's Dom?

Weiss: He looks like he's about to..*gasp*

An image flashes inside of Dante's mind. A premonition. He doesn't know how or why it's happening but it feels so real. Like it's happened before.

Dante gasps and runs over to stop his brother but was stopped himself when Dominic points the tip of Yamato at his throat

Dominic: Leave me and go, if you don't want to be trapped in the Demon World. I'm staying, this place...was our fathers home...

Dominic begins to lean back, letting his body weight take him over the edge of the cliff and as he does so, another vision haunts Dante as he reaches out to catch his brother

As Dante goes to save his brother, Dominic slices his hand and looks Dante in the eye, a single tear falling down.

Dante catches a glimpse of a yellow flash speeding by him and he watches as Yang dives over the edge to catch Dominic and Dante quickly grabs her leg as she grabs a hold of Dominic

Dante: Gotcha!

Dominic:*grunt* What are you doing?! Let me go!!

Yang: No!!

Dominic: Why are you doing this?! Just let me die!!

Yang: No!! I won't let you go! I don't want you to die!!

Dominic: Why?!

Yang: Because I care about you!! We all care about you!!

Dante grunts and pulls the two up as the ground shook more

Sapphire: We have to move! Now!!

Blake: But how do we get out?!

Dante swipes the Yamato from his weakened brother and runs over to the group and slashes open a portal with it using all of his strength

Dante:*panting* Go!!

Everyone began to run through the portal as rocks and debris begin to fall down

Ruby: Wait!!

Ruby runs back and grabs the Force Edge from the waterfall and speeds back, dodging rocks as they fall down around her

Dante: Come on!

Ruby jumps through the portal and lands in Dante arms as it closed and they were back in the Human World. It was finally over. Arkham was dead and Dominic had been defeated and was alive. Whatever those visions were, it seems that with Yangs act of selflessness changed the course of history or something Dante had thought to himself

Weiss: We're back! The ground! Oh sweet sweet concrete!! I'll never take you for granted ever again!

Weiss hugged the ground as Sapphire and Obito laughed at her

Blake: Thank goodness. It's...finally over.

Yang sobbed as she held onto Dominic with no sign of letting him go

Dominic: You should have let me fall....

Yang: Why?! Why do you want to die?! Do you think this is what we want?!

Dominic: It's the only way to repent for the sin I've done...

Yang slaps Dominic in the face

Yang: You idiot! We already forgave you! Why do you have to try and kill yourself?! Because you can't live with the guilt?! And what about us? What about Dante? Did you ever think how your death would affect us?!

Dominic hung his head low and that gave Yang her answer

Yang: Then please, no more. No more beating yourself up over this. Can you just go back to being our friend?

Dante: Hey..

Dominic looks up at his brother who knelt down and put a hand on his shoulder

Dante: Sometimes the strongest ones need to break a little and let people see behind their masks. Let it out. We'll be right here.

Dominic looks around to see his friends standing there. They've risked their lives coming here to get him. He felt like a piece missing from his heart had been put back into place and his eyes welled up with tears and the wall he had put up inside himself had broke and he let out a loud sob as he puts his head in his hands

Lady: Huh, look at that. A devil is crying.

The group turns around and sees Lady walking towards them through the rubble of the city

Sapphire: Glad to see you made it out.

Lady: Thanks. I'm...glad you all made it out too.

Sapphire: And what about your father?

Lady looks down and wipes her eyes before speaking

Lady: Dead. I....finally did it..

Sapphire: I'm sorry you had to do that. No child should ever have to kill their parent.

Sapphire puts a hand on Lady's shoulder which comforted the girl slightly

Dante smiled seeing his brother being alive and finally letting his feelings out to Yang and Ruby who comforted him along with Obito. He started to cry which Blake noticed and looked at him

Blake: Dante, are you crying?

Dante: I-it's only the rain..

Blake: The rain already stopped.

Blake look up as the clouds began to part as the sun begins to rise on a new day for everyone

Dante pulls Lady's weapon from his back and hands it to her but pulls it back and smirks at her

Lady takes her rocket launcher from Dante and puts it on her back

Dante: Maybe.

Lady: By the way...

Lady pulls out a gun and shoots three demons dead that were flying in from above, startling everyone who wasn't paying attention before

Lady: Looks like....we're gonna be here for a while.

Sapphire: Well then bring it on!

Sapphire creates a sword made of ice and twirls it in his hands as more and more demons began to surround them

Obito: Ah man I've been itching to kill something lately!

Obito punches his fist into his palm as his eyes glow red and he pulls out two kunai

Weiss: Oh great. Now I'm gonna get more blood on this dress.

Yang:I think the rugged look suits you.

Weiss: Hmph!

Weiss turns her head blushing since she agreed she felt very comfortable in this setting

Dante: Bring it on! Oh man I love this! This is what we live for right guys?!

Ruby takes out Crescent Rose and spins it around her body before planting the blade at her feet with Force Edge on her back

Dominic wipes his eyes and a genuine smile grows across his face as he walks up next to his brother and holds up Yamato, flicking the blade up with his thumb while Dante spun Ebony and Ivory in his hands

Timeskip—

The two teams, along with Lady, walk up to the ground of Beacon while laughing amongst each other

Dante: Dude I totally killed more demons!

Dominic: Where did you learn to count?! We were even!

Sapphire: You're both wrong, I killed the most!

Blake: Actually it was Weiss who got the most. I kept count.

Weiss: Ha! Weiss Schnee: Devil Huntress!

Ruby: Has a nice ring to it!

Obito: So Dante, how do you think we did? Are we honorary devil hunters now~?

Dante: Yeah you guys did alright for newbies.

Obito: Oh...

Dante: Am I'm just kidding!! Y'all did kick ass!

Everyone walks up to Beacon and was shocked to see such a big crowd waiting for them

Sapphire: Uh...did we miss something?

Multiple people, students, teachers, soldiers, ran up to them and surrounded them asking them multiple questions until Glynda Goodwitch pushed past everyone and looked at her students

Glynda: Breaking curfew, going on an unsanctioned mission, risking your very lives without supervision from a Huntsman or Huntress, and to top it all off..!

Glynda: Worrying us half to death!

Obito: Huh?

Glynda: Why did you all leave? Why?

Lady: They received word that someone was trying to raise that tower. I got it too and went in to stop him but I met great opposition. Thankfully, these guys here saved me. We all ventured up the tower and stopped the man responsible for all this.

Glynda: One man did all of this..?

Lady: Yes. He's...dead now.

Glynda: As long as you are all okay. What's your name child?

Lady: It's M...Lady. My name is Lady.

Glynda: Lady?

Dante: I know, weird huh? Does she have a brother named Man?

The group collectively groans at Dante's attempt at a joke

Glynda:*sigh* Regardless, your families are here to see you all.

Ruby: They are?!

Glynda: Yes. They have been waiting for quite a while.

???: Ruby! Yang!!

The sisters turn to see a blonde man in cargo shorts run up to them and hugs them in his arms tightly

???: Oh my sweet baby girls!! Are you both okay?! Are you hurt?!

Yang: We're fine dad!

Ruby: We're okay!

Obito:*gulp* Dad?

Dante: Uh oh~

???: Oh, are these your friends?

Dante goes up and shakes Taiyangs hand

Dominic: Yeah I'd take Blair over Dante talking normally.

Taiyang: Well Dante, I hope you're not gonna reveal that you're dating one of my daughters.

Dante: Oh no sir I'm not the one who's dating your innocent little Ruby~

Taiyangs expression became dark as he leaned in to Dante's personal space

Taiyang: Then who...is?

Dante: Oh Obito~!!

Everyone parts to the side and reveals Obito trying to sneak away

Obito: Huh? WAAH!!

He flinches and hides his face while shaking

Taiyang: That's your boyfriend Ruby? The kid from the picture?

Ruby:*blush* Yeah...that's my Obito.

Taiyang: Hmm...hey kid! C'mere I wanna talk to you!

Obito walks up to Taiyang with his head held down as everyone watched

Dante: Oh man its like a soap opera.

Dominic: Yeah..

Dominic creates three chairs for him, Dante, and Sapphire to sit on while they watch Obito being confronted by Taiyang

Taiyang: So, you're dating Ruby?

Obito: Y-yes..! Yes sir! Please don't hurt me!

Yang: He's not gonna hurt you! Right dad?

Taiyang: If he says the wrong thing I might.

Ruby lightly hits her father on the side

Taiyang: Look kid, I just wanna know if you were out there with my little girl at all times.

Obito: I tried to be. We got separated sometimes and I was worried sick about her safety. But everyone else protected each other! We stood by each others sides until the very end!

Dante: Looks like you owe everyone for not saying you did this.

Dominic:*sigh* Fuuuck..! I went from being Blair's bitch to now everyone's bitch.

Sapphire: That's right bitch.

Dante: Hahaha! By the way, you said your weapon got broken?

Sapphire:*sigh* Yeah...it's fine. I'll be able to make weapon still. Just not with this.

Sapphire sees Winter and Weiss talking to each other and he gets up to go speak with them

Winter: Have you sustained any serious injuries?

Weiss: No sister. I've come back relatively unharmed.

Winter:*sigh* Thank goodness.

Winter hugs her sister tightly as Sapphire walks up to them

Winter breaks the hug and clears her throat

Winter: Thank you for...protecting my sister.

Weiss smiled and hugged her sister tightly

Dante stretched his arms and leaned back in the chair Dominic had created and sees Blake and Lady sit down next to him

Blake: I can't believe it's finally over.

Lady: Yeah. But there's still a lot of demons out there.

Dante: True. But for now, we rest. I need a hot shower, a big meal, and a warm bed.

Lady: Christ on Sunday, I could go for a warm bath right now!

Blake: Yes~!! Is this line of work always this dirty Dante?

Dante: Sometimes. It's why I wear red. Hides the blood.

Lady: You wouldn't catch me dead in red.

Blake: Hm...I might try out red..

Dante: Oh~?

Dante raised an eyebrow and looked at Blake

Dante: What makes you say that?

Blake:*blush* I think black and red make a good combination...

Dominic stood over the side of the cliff overlooking the city while he gazed at his reflection in the Force Edge. He begun to spin the sword in his hands and around his body before swinging it downwards

Dominic: I'll make you proud father. I'll show you that I'm worthy to wield this sword. I'll use it to protect the ones I love...

Dominic turned the sword slightly and saw Yang in its reflection, causing him to turn around and see Taiyang and Ruby with her

Taiyang: My girls said you had something to tell me?

Dominic: I...yes. I'm Dominic. A friend.

Dominic and Taiyang shook hands to which he eyed the Force Edge in Dominic's other hand

Taiyang: Nice sword.

Dominic: Thanks. It was my fathers.

Yang: Dom..

Yang went up to Dominic's side and motioned to Taiyang and Dominic took in a deep breath before telling him everything.

Obito: Hey guys, look.

Obito points over to the cliff side and the rest of team ODDS and RWBY watch Dominic tell Taiyang what he had told Yang and Ruby. Once he finished, he waited for a punch to the face or to be pushed of the cliff. Instead, he was met with a hug from Taiyang who started to cry into Dominic's shoulder. He was sad about what had happened but glad that Summer's last effort was to save the life of someone else.

Dominic: I..don't understand. You aren't angry with me?

Taiyang:*sniffle* Why would I be?

Dominic: Because I ran away..! I..I could have saved her!

Taiyang: Kid..

Taiyang puts a hand on Dominic shoulder to reassure him

Taiyang: Sometimes you can't save everyone. Even if you have all the power in the world. Summer knew that. She wanted you to live on in this world and grow up into a great man. Are you gonna be something great someday?

Dominic touched the amulet that hung around his neck and looked up at Taiyang with a tearful smile

Dominic: Yes. For her!

Taiyang: That's the spirit kid!

Ruby: Group hug!!

Dominic: Oh I don't think that's really-

The sisters hugged Dominic tightly and he inevitably gave into their embrace with a smile

Yang: Dominic..

Dominic: Yes Yang?

Yang: There's something I've wanted to do for a long time...

Dominic: What?

Yang turns his head and kisses him on the cheek, making the fair skinned half demon turn bright red with embarrassment

Yang: That~

Dominic:*blush* H..h..okay...wow....feelings..hehe~

Yang:*whisper* I'd give you more but I don't want my dad to kill ya~

Dominic: M-more..? What does more entail?

Yang grins and whispers something into Dominics ear that made steam come out of his ears and he faints due to the shock from what she just said to him

A week passed and team ODDS were walking back to their dorm after a long day at school. Them conversing with each other about random things as they entered their room. Dante yawned and pulls his new coat off his back and hangs it on a chair before sitting at his desk that had his mothers photo on it as well was the photo of their first team mission together framed and sat next to his mothers picture

Dante: Obito can you put the sign out on the door?

Obito: Oh yeah!

Obito ran up to the door, passing by a hung picture of his team plus team RWBY after the Temen Ni Gru incident and he hung a sign out in front of their dorm room door

Sapphire: Still can't believe it took you so long to come up with a name for this business.

Dominic: I still can't believe you're wearing some decent clothing for once. Not to mention, a shirt

Obito: It's so Blake could notice him more~ Mwah mwah mwah~!!

Dante: A shut it!

The phone on Dante's desk began to ring and everyone stood at attention as Dante hit his desk with his foot which sent the phone flying into his hand. He then answers the call and says the name of his and his team's business

Elsewhere, Cinder sat in a bathroom laughing to herself as a pregnancy test in her hands had the symbol for positive on it and she knew exactly who the father was to her child

Cinder: You won't be able to escape me now...daddy~

She laughs insanely as she holds her stomach. The world soon recognize her and her child soon enough. And it will be a glorious birth.
